Superbe installations, cordialité et amabilité du personnel. Excellent diner. Super endroit pour les grues
rien !

A new and well equipped accommodation. The house hold provides enough cooking utensils in the kitchen and the hose furnishes like a home. There is also a washing machine inside the house, very convenient and you can stay there for two nights to explore more the lake nearby.
If there is a drying machine would be perfect. As it is a hot summer, if there is an air conditioner inside the bedroom and the area in the upper stairs would be good.

Very clean (almost brand new), spacey and comfortable since everything you would need for daily life are equipped there. Especially a bathtub made of Hinoki wood is in the indoor bathroom and there is even a Roten-buro (outdoor bathtub)! There is a loft space which is extremely nice with a pair of great sound speakers and some good jazz CDs. The windows facing the back field are so big that you can enjoy watching Tanchou-zuru (Japanese cranes). The amenities in the bathroom and the kitchen are more than enough. The owner and the staff were so kind and helpful. Their hospitality is absolutely wonderful. It was worth the 30 minute drive from the city centre of Kushiro.
(Sorry I couldn’t write in Japanese for my keyboard setting is wired at the moment.)
You need a car to get there.

Fantastic place for weeklong stay, feeling as comfortable as staying at home. Full functional kitchen and hot stone bath. Nice view from dining table, you may get to see white crane in the field (funny, a few deers came by before chased away by house dog
- cute Shiba Inu, it follow us around when we taking pictures of hoar frost at 5am). definitely worth travel memory
Nothing unless you need to get to groceries shopping or if you don’t cook.

Well equipped, very comfortable house. A good base to explore Akan- Mashu National parks, the Kushiro wetlands, and for cranes.
There is another property in front of the village which was not well presented, though its not visible from the accommodation. However, the village accommodation is excellent.

There are 3 houses on the site, each has its own configuration but all look good. The house we stayed is very well-equipped with a modern yet practical kitchen on the second floor. The beds are comfortable and we slept really well. There is ample space to park your car in front of or next to the house. With a car, the house is actually quite accessible to those spots for watching the Japanese red crowned cranes and whooper swans. There are some restaurants in the nearby town which is approx 20-30 min drive away. There is a very cosy cafe just opposite the main road after coming out from the location of the house, which serves good food and desserts. There is a reception office on the site as well, and managed by helpful and friendly staff, including an American lady who makes communication so much easier. Do take note that they work usual hours on weekdays only, but they do provide a number in case of emergency. All in all, this is a highly recommended stay for Tsurui!
Nothing.

The property has plenty of rooms and space, very comfortable and clean. The kitchen facilities are great, particularly in this small town with few restaurants. The location is ideal for viewing and photography of Japanese red-crowned cranes.
It is pretty difficult to find the property, even with the given address on Google map. The property should give guests detailed direction and instruction to get to the property.

perfect location for Tancho hunting, literally minutes away from the key viewpoints from Otawa bridge. Superb audio-phile great sound system at our apartment. Fire place adds cosy-ness!
Water/onsen temperature didn't seem to go pass 40 degrees.

A really excellent value in a spectacular place. Seeing the red crowned cranes was my priority for this trip, and beyond providing great accommodations, the hotel staff was able to help me set up a few taxis to get me where I wanted to go. Thank you so much!

The house is well designed outside and inside. The interior smells of a pleasant woody scent. It is clean and amenities are diverse. The bathroom is of incredibly high grade considering the price. The view is good from all rooms. A morning bath in the hot tub at watching cranes fly outside and over me is the most unforgettable experience I could ever have in my many travels in Japan.
At night the staff can only be reached by phone call. Nowadays many SIM data plans for travel do not include a phone service or even a local phone number. It would be safer if the staff can be reached through alternative means, such as non-cellular, network call services like LINE call or even Skype.

Very modern updated house with all the necessary amenities. The heated stone slab in the bath was very nice! Plenty of space for our family of 4.

The house is brand new, smartly done. The bath tub and sauna especially nice. All equipment is brand new as well. The kitchen living room is bright and enjoys nice vistas around.
Maybe the location, you can’t really do or see anything without driving for a while. Maybe having bicycles there would be a great add on.

We booked two cottages and they were two perfect little houses with amazing ammenities like floor heating, oven, climate control, outdoor bathtub (and of course indoor), fully equiped kitchen and the expected tv plus a sound system to play your own music. Everything was extremly clean, as if it had never been used before. The hosts were extremly nice and even showed us a good spot for bird watching. It was all around a way better experience then I would have thought. It's really close to Ottawa bridge and the crane sanctuaries.
Nothing, it was all perfect. One thing I would suggest is maybe making a better signage at the turn of. There are three turn offs and there's a sign at the first and the third, but not at the 2nd, so we drove past it at first.

Location is very convenience to attractions
Everything is good
