The hotel is in good shape. The food is good there. they provide lots of different dishes and unlimited Sapporo beer from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The onsen is good. The stuff there are super polite. Just enjoy the stay. It is also in working distance to a famous spot to watch the sunset there by the sea.
The food provided are tasted similar even though the menu are changed daily. (I think 50% of the dishes are changed daily).
So, I recommend stay there for up to 2 days or you may fell bored of the food there. Also, there is no crab or sea urchin on the menu.

Lovely spa retreat used quite extensively by Japanese tourists. Staff were professional, reasonably friendly and helpful. The room sizes are generous and the added lounge areas in the main entry, a nice touch. The buffet dinner and breakfast were very extensive, varied and of good quality. A good launchpad for exploring the area with some luxury when you return from your adventures.
Nothing.

Good hotel with nice big rooms. Good buffet style restaurant. Vast and rather impersonal lobby. Beautiful scenery around but not much in the immediate vicinity. Pressed to make a choice between this and Lake Akan, we would go back to Akan.
We only stayed one night, but this is obviously a sort of resort hotel with onsen facilities. It is a bit in the middle of nowhere and just didn't light our fire.

The view outside the room is very good
and the scenery is beautiful.

La situació, els voltants del parc.
Bufet escàs, sobretot per sopar. Bany mini i no haurien de fer reserves amb tatami, per persones una mica grans o bé advertir-ho. Resulta incòmode si ho desconeixes en què consisteix.

Great onsen! Very professional staff. Ocean view Japanese room was lovely.

Very friendly and polite staff. Spacious and clean room. Relaxing atmosphere. Love their buffet which offers different local delicacies. Even though we can’t speak Japanese, the staff tried their best to explain the facilities and food items to us. They can speak some English and some can speak Mandarin. Very professional team of staff.

The room was generous clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful despite it being very busy. Both the breakfast and dinner had a wide-ranging variety of dishes. The onsen was wonderful.

good spread of food for both dinner and breakfast. the natural twin room that we booked was spacious and comfortable. staff were welcoming when we arrived, and were attentive during our stay.
unexpectedly, when we were leaving, the staff made us load our luggage into our car in blazing sun, when next to us, the big porch was free. odder still, two cars that pulled up later were free to use the porch. not a nice end to an otherwise lovely stay.

- excellent public bath especially the outdoor onsen is in the nature
- staff were great esp the manager
- the dinner and breakfast were awesome! They actually use good ingredients.
- AC in the modern rooms are not cool enough. The Japanese rooms all have their individual AC units. However the modern wing has a ventral AC system that is not cool enough unfortunately.
- there’s a hint of cigarette smell due to smoking room in the common area. But I find this to be true in most Japanese hotels unless the whole establishment is anti-smoking. I look forward to the day when Japan bans indoor smoking altogether.

The moment your car pulls up, you are greeted by smiling staff who give 90 degree bows and offer to help with your luggage. You are greeted by a lovely woody scent the moment you enter the place, as well as more staff who greet you. My family absolutely loooved the breakfast buffet! The onsen was also amazing and I went there every night. I also really liked the cute decor and furniture of the hotel lobby; each piece was unique but worked together well. My family really liked Kiki and I was sad to leave.
Nothing! Though I guess it’s important to know that the facilities for entertainment were limited. But that’s okay because I think people mostly travel out during the day.

We had a Natural Twin Room with a good view. Room is big and offers everything you need. Bed very comfortable, windows can be opened. Bathroom is a bit small but you instead can use the onsen. Onsen was great, outdoor bath available too. Breakfast and Dinner were Buffet-stayle and really good choice and quality. Staff was very nice and helpful, they spoke english too.
Everything was very good

during check-in, a reception staff shared the false and/or little information about the services/facilities available for babies. for families it is very important to be informed about what the options are available for babies. hoping they will train the staffs to be more helpful for family visitors.

The atmosphere of the hotel was calming and well decorated with photographs and artwork of local wildlife. service of the staff was always top notch, even with a language barrier (easily overcome with language translation apps). We appreciated that the bell boy was always there to wave goodbye to send us off whenever we left the hotel, and noticed that staff also went round the carpark at night to check on security. Extensive range of food at breakfast and food never ran out even when we were there close to the end of breakfast time. Room was spacious, especially by Japanese standards.
Location is slightly inconvenient for those without a car and one would have to walk about 15 minutes down the slope to the convenience stores in town. Most people staying here came in tour buses or cars.

Truly enjoyed my stay at Kiki Shiretoko Natural Resort
- Stayed in natural twin room, a western style room with a beautiful view of town and frozen sea in winter. Spotlessly clean and spacious room. Comfy bed.
- Calm and relaxing ambience and great facilities at the resort
- Excellent buffet with nice quality of food
- Soothing onsen
- Great attentive Japanese hospitality. Staff were really nice and polite.
- The Shiretoko Airport Liner bus picks up and drops off from here once a day. Otherwise, the resort can provide free shuttle to bus station (5 mins).
No convenience store and restaurant nearby

The food and facility was very nice!

Love everything about it! One of our best stays in our trip.

A lot of buses take you directly to the major hotels in the area, including Kiki. The staff were extremely courteous and professional, and the hot spring facilities were great. We also got a room with an ocean view which was breathtaking.
It's a bit of a walk to amenities like the convenience store, but it's really more a feature of the town than of the hotel itself.
