Fantastic location, comfortable and warm apartment.

Lokatie was goed. Appartement was goed verzorgd

The location was amazing. The property itself was well looked after and extras were provided like oil and salt to cook with.
There was a bit of noise from the other rooms but nothing too bad

The location is great. Near the busy parts of town, but quiet. The facility is charming and just what we needed. It suited us (older couple) just fine. Coffee maker was a blessing. Right by a grocery store. Bed was comfy.
Honestly, nothing. We're pretty low maintenance. A few notes on some of the other reviews: the water smell is a city -wide thing, and it's perfectly safe. It's not the facility. The bedroom is smaller than hotel rooms in the US. Adjust your expectations. The heat is HOT. Crack a window and get over it. A caution about the hot water: it is hot enough to scald. Start with cold, go from there. Especially if you have little ones.

The location was great, the room had all we needed and the heating was wonderful. The lockers for use before check-in and after check-out were very handy. Extra toilet paper was available. We felt the room was generally clean (hoovered, fresh linen).
The bed frame is a double, except it's too single matresses pushed together. The seams were really annoying, so we slept apart the whole time.
The shower extractor fan needs a desperate clean. Shower has mouldy grout so we didn't use it, but the nearby geothermal city pools had very clean showering facitilies.
The sink drain in the bedroom smelt bad, needs bleach poured down it. The sponge was also worn out and washing up gloves weren't available, so we weren't keen on doing our own washing-up (sensitive skin and dish soap don't mix well).
Weren't sure where to empty the bin, or where to find fresh bags.
Like others have said, the sound insulation is poor but if you are used to flat or apartment living it's not much worse.

Very comfortable bed, complete facilities, very nice shower, as it is around tourist attractions like Hallgrimkirskja, Harpa, Sun voyager, Prime Minister's office, rainbow street and more..Less than 5 minutes if you ride a taxi from BSI bus terminal. The nearest bus stop is Number 6, number 3 and number 8 (Hallgrimskirsja), You can used those bus stop when you will wait or meet your Tour. A lot of nearest convenience stores. Iceland is very very expensive and you can spend more than 20 pounds in just one meal. Just enjoy Iceland a very very cold country.

Prima ligging, goede uitvalsbasis. Ruim appartement.
Gebouw en kamer binnenkomen was makkelijk. Maar geen host zien maakt het ook wat onpersoonlijk. Douchegordijn in badkamer. Wij zijn niet gewend ramen te moeten open zetten, terwijl de verwarming maximaal aan staat.

Everything was perfect, great big bed, clean nice towels for both of us, clean place, super near to the tourist area, next to a supermarket, and pretty cute and stylish. It even had a loundry place in the building free to use and a locker room to keep your luggage in case you arrived/left before or after check in/out time (we did not use them, but they looked great) and free WiFi (we did not use it neither). There was a hair dryer (a pretty good one actually) in the bathroom, and even if the heating could not be controlled from the apartament it was warm and nice (for reference, we stayed there in September with a temperature of 5-10 Celsius). The kitchen area is small but really nice, fully equipped with a microwave/oven, a stove, a toaster, a coffee maker (Nespresso style), a small refrigerator and all you may need to cook and eat. The host was super nice and attentive.
Honestly, nothing wrong with the place, I'll absolutely will go back there my next time in Reykjavik (hopefully it won't be too long!).

This very compact apartment is in an excellent location in Reykjavík. Close to ‘rainbow’ street and lots of bars and restaurants. We took advantage of the small kitchen to cook our own meals (supermarket is 3 min walk away) which was lovely after 6 weeks on the road. Also made great use of the laundry and luggage storage facilities.
Common areas ie entrance and stairway, laundry not very clean/tidy. Didn’t make for a great first impression. But apartment itself was spotless.
4.1
Great location and communication from the host. The room itself was clean and accommodating.
The cold water in the shower didn’t work, so every shower was boiling hot!! While the room itself was very clean, the stairways were very dirty. Part of the reason we booked the place was because we wanted to use the washer/dryer. I don’t know if we just couldn’t figure it out, but the dryer would pause itself every 10 minutes, requiring us to go down and press start again. Also, the washer flooded. Last, the walls are SO thin. I could hear the upstairs tenant snoring and using the restroom.
4.1
Great location close to everything in the downtown area. Everything was in good working order.
A lot of steps but was OK if not old.

Location was outstanding
Was excellent value for money - wouldn’t change anything

The location is fantastic and the host was welcoming and communicative!

this place was incredible: it was very clean, easy to finde and the proper used to answer us very quick by whatsapp. also he provided us good information about city and everything in the apartment was good.
the only problem is that the place to wash the dishes in the kitchen is very small. the rest of the apartment is perfect to spend a few days or a week in reikiavik, because it is well located and quite place.
4.1
Nice, quiet and charming little apartment in central Reykjavik. Host was helpful and quick to reply to any questions. Beds were comfy, and place was cosy. Having a supermarket just around the corner was really very convenient. Would not hesitate to book again if we ever visit Reykjavik again.
Nothing... All was according to our expectations.

Great location. Nice to have a kitchen
The toilet seat falls on your back and is annoying. It's pretty tight placed

The location was perfect, in the middle of old town, 5 min walking distance from main shopping streets and city center.
The flat was clean and well equipped.
We'll return here for the next visit in Iceland.
The door lock with a given code was not obvious for me, but I learned it. Don't push the black button, just slide your finger quite slowly on the black space beneath, so all the numbers become visible. Then it is obvious.

The location was perfect! Quiet but a very easy walk to downtown. David was continually checking in with us via email both prior to our stay and once we got there. We felt very well taken cared for. It was nice to only need a code for the apartment and not worry about losing a key.
Everything was great!

We liked everything about this. It was close to the main shopping street and resturants. The room was nice, clean and had nice furniture and decor. The instructions and communication with the host/staff was easy to follow and you got a response fast if you had questions.
The only thing missing was a shoe horn by the door.

Cozy and cute apartment. I loved the look out of the window, the calmness of the neighborhood, its closeness to the city center, but also to the bus station and to the University. Being able to have coffee and a meal in the apartment is a plus. Finally, when the weather was sunny, I loved using the small balcony to chill.
4.1
Very convenient location, while still being quiet as it's on a side street. Grocery right around the corner. Owner was very responsive and helpful when I reached out with questions. On-site, self-service laundry (washer and dryer) was a great bonus.
4.1
Clean and well stocked kitchen plus washer and dryer. Close to restaurants and transportation.
The blinds were broken in the up position. Considering Iceland has 24 hours of daylight now it was hard to sleep. Contacted owner who promised repairs but never showed up so we had trouble sleeping. Also lockers to store luggage was too small for our airport approved luggage so we worried about leaving them before our check in time.
4.1
Location was superb and thoroughly enjoyed opportunity to see Iceland from the heart of everything
4.1
There was no breakfast. The location was awesome.
No plug in in the bathroom. It needed a mirror in the living area so you could see yourself and blow dry your hair. I looked like a wreck in Reykjavik. The wallpaper was ripped off in the bedroom. There was no pullout couch. The facet was loose in the kitchen. You need a sign on the doors to tell people not to let them slam.
4.1
The location was fantastic-- super easy walk the areas we were interested in spending time in when we arrived in Reykjavik.
I liked everything.

Great location. Great communication prior to arrival. Very clean. Quiet area.
More hand towels would’ve been nice. Had to pay for street parking.

Apartment facilities were very good
Location was perfect

The location - 5 minute walk to Rainbow Street - as well as the cleanliness was amazing! The beds were really good and the apartment felt very spacious. Easy check in as well.
The curtains in the bedroom could've been a little more blackout as there is a lot of daylight during the night. But that's only a minor thing!
4.1
The location is very good in the centre and close to everything. A very cosy apartment and with good accessories.
Maybe a better table (not round) to have a snack and to work on a laptop.
