Whidbey Island is a charming place to visit. The island is very rural, with plenty of trees, open meadows, and beautiful views of the water. The house sits on a bluff, overlooking the water. The views are amazing. My family enjoyed watching the sunset over the water.
The deck is expansive, with two main levels. The deck boards could use a good scrubbing, as they are a bit weathered.
The house is HUGE. It is very well decorated, with comfortable sofas and chairs. There are multiple places to sit and chat, or curl up to read a book.
The dining room is very large, with plenty of seating for our family members. The living room and dining room overlook the water, with huge floor to ceiling windows.
The kitchen is very large, with all the supplies, plates, cups, bowls, silverware, pots, and pan you may need to prepare a home cooked meal.
The primary bedroom is amazing. The primary bathroom is very large, with a step-up tub. There are large closets, with plenty of room for your clothes and suitcases.
The secondary bedroom, located on the lower level is comfortable. The living room furniture on the lower level is very dated. The room is a bit dark, as the deck blocks most of the sunlight from entering the room. We did not spend much time on the lower level. However, if guests have teenage children, this would be a great spot for watching TV or playing games.
The third bedroom is upstairs (caution, the stairs are a tight fit for lugging suitcases upstair). This room has a beautiful view, with two comfortable chairs. However, there is no closet, nor a dresser. There was not place to place our suitcases to unpack.
The other beds (three twins) are in a loft. The mattresses are extremely firm. There are also footboards, so for any adults over 5' - 9", it will be a tight fit if you like to stretch out in bed.
The grounds are very nice. The front yard has beautiful bushes and flowers. We saw rabbits and deer on the property.
We enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very comfortable for five adults and one child.

Our family enjoyed our relaxing time at this property. The house is well appointed and we appreciated the multiple fans to cool the home in the evening on warm days. The views are amazing.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The views were incredible! The three twin beds in the upstairs loft area would be perfect for kids or tweens but were a bit small for my 6' twenty-year-olds so they ended up sleeping on couches. There was plenty of extra bedding provided and lots of couches so they were quite comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything you could think of for cooking a family meal. The outdoor spaces and gardens were lovely and well maintained. I would highly recommend this home and look forward to coming back!

It's a bit worn and dated. It's not perfect, but the price is very good and it would fit three couples easily, maybe even with a couple kids in addition.

This is a great house in a fantastic location with amazing views and a couple of drawbacks. I think there might be 4 full or partial kitchens, several dining areas, lounge areas and even a couple of dressing rooms in this sprawling and somewhat strangely laid out house. We had a great time here and it was certainly spacious enough for our party of 7 adults. What puzzled us was that with all this available space my mother had to sleep in a twin bed on an open mezzanine or in a room with no door or lamp. We felt like additional bedrooms would be so useful considering how large the house is! The basement was slightly musty but we loved the conversation pit! The multi level deck was fantastic and the garden full of deer and rabbits was lovely. The kitchen was well stocked too. All in all, a great house that could benefit immensely from some updates in the design. Would highly recommend it if you only need 3 adult bedrooms for your group!

This is a beautiful home, with lots of space for multiple families, offering the perfect balance for privacy and communal gatherings. The view is second to none. The communication with the property manager was also prompt and helpful.

The house is even bigger and nicer than it looks in the photos, and the views have to be experienced to fully appreciate. House was immaculately clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

This was a perfect place for a family vacation. The house has a lot of room indoor and outdoor. There is a nice size yard upfront surrounded by beautiful garden and the back decks are perfect. The kitchen is well stocked. The double ovens and warming drawer was very handy. The view was breathtaking.

Plenty of room for multiple families. The house was clean and had everything needed for cooking big meals.
The only cons were the Wi-Fi was pretty bad and it would be nice to have darker shades in the bedrooms for napping children. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

The property is beautiful and large. It is tucked away in a couple of acres of private land. The deck has some decent views.
However this is an old construction and that shows. The basement is unusable for sleeping unless everyone else is as a the walls don’t soundproof much. There are like 3 living rooms but only 3 bedrooms. Sleeper sofas would be helpful. Also not related to the property but this area is pretty far from most of the restaurants etc.

We had a wonderful time at Seascape Lodge. The place is gorgeous, with lots of room for family and friends to spread out and enjoy the spectacular views. One very small nit, it would be nice to have a lounger on the deck.

The house and location were fantastic! The views were unbeatable, and the house had so many areas to sit and visit. The kitchen was well setup with dishes, cookware and appliances. We highly recommend and hopefully will be staying there again in the near future.

Stay in May 2022
Pros: It is a big property then it seems in the photo. It was an awesome stay, the house has lot of amenities, sufficient cutlery, lot of furniture's and jacuzzi was great. the house had multiple kitchenet.
Cons: The house has 3 levels , the base meant level bedroom and hall had old smell. could not locate the speaker system control in the house, outdoor grill is unusable and no beach access. Huge patio but no backyard.
Overall it is a great house to stay at.

Seascape lodge was the perfect place for our ladies group!
We loved the spaciousness of this lovely home and the view was spectacular. We were glad we brought our own wood for the fireplace, as we didn’t see any there. And we could have used some more kitchen towels. The mattresses on the single beds are really hard and the single beds were not in a bedroom but are in an upstairs loft. But the home was really beautiful, well cared for, tastefully decorated and was the perfect place for our get-together with friends.

Lots of room!
Our group of 8 women friends enjoyed two nights at this property. It is a HUGE house. Though the house exterior and decks need some cleaning and repainting, it was not an issue for our winter stay, since we were inside and not using the extensive outdoor decks. The inside of the house was very clean. We missed having the usual house manual that outlines all the expectations for the property and ran out of dishwasher pods, but those were minor issues. The beds were comfortable and the house has many interesting decor features. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking pans, etc. and dishes, which we appreciated since we did a lot of cooking while there. We would stay here again.

huge
Pros:
- entertainingly huge
- tiny elevator provides entertainment
- three different living rooms for lounging variety
Cons:
- a few of the many light switches are installed upside down, making it harder to figure out which switch is to which light
- kitchen knives all dull
- bottom oven runs super hot
Tips:
- Not good for toddlers or small kids, there are lots of very tempting breakable decorations around and limited plastic dinnerware
- Bring games if you want them. Sometimes houses don't bother saying that they have toys and games but it turns out they actually do. This is not one of those. There's chess, scrabble, pictionary, and a jigsaw puzzle, and that's it.
- Bring wood if you want a fire in one of the stoves. There's a woodpile but it's just unsplit huge logs and no axe.
- No coffee grinder, bring pre-ground coffee
Misc:
- the mystery switch in the breakfast nook opens the skylight. Took us quite a while to figure this out.

Exceeded our expectations!
A well kept 6500 s/f home with plenty of room, very nicely equipped huge kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of everything. Laid out in such a way that we could all be together or separate to our own areas. Secluded area with a great view but too far from the shops either. We work with many short term rental houses in our business and were very impressed with how the home presented, the management company's communication and the whole experience. We would definitely come again. Thanks for a great experience.

Large home with great views. Quiet and a great place for large groups. The experience would be improved with updates to Thermostat control and a better overall set of instructions on household operations.

so much better in person!
This property was so much better in person than it appeared on the website! It was spacious, comfortable, clean with lots of room for family. I go back again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful location, but inaccurate listing and poor communication
Beautifully located w/ sweeping views, expansive house.
However, chose it for ADA access into home. Despite many emails and calls before and day of check-in with assurances that I would "get access" to elevator and/or ramp into main floor, there were neither. Very frustrating as had to carry our eldest family member in wheelchair up/down stairs just to gain entry. Also frustrating that vrbo/Vacasa kept insisting that it was wheelchair ADA smooth entry, then said they'd have "local manager" get back to me, which did not happen.
Very minor point, but for this large and pricey of a house, there were only 4 dishwasher pods for 3 nights and when I needed more, they said it is "policy" to provide so few (!). They did drop more off after 2 calls, plus a few more trashbags (same skimpy supply).

Breathtaking views!
Overall, this was the perfect getaway for our family of 7. SO much space and the pictures truly do not do the views justice. Not only are the views incredible, but the location is ideal. It’s secluded and private but still just a short drive to town along with surrounding small towns/hiking. The house is a little outdated, specifically the bathrooms and some of the carpets could use a deep clean/replacement but at the end of the day, our family had a great time.

A beautiful home that has aged well with great views and a lot of space to meet and move around. Very private with lovely grounds.

Amazing views, spacious home
Our group of 4 adults & 4 teenagers had a great time at this property. The views and sunsets were to die for. The master suite is enormous, and the lower suite worked well for the second couple, but a queen or king sized bed down there would have been preferred. The cabin side of the house worked well for our teenagers but the loft with 3 twin beds is open to the lower level so there’s no privacy. The kitchen is well equipped- could use some more tongs and better frying pans. The shower heads need replacement. But otherwise a great house!

Pros and Cons
The house has spacious living areas, amazing views and great outdoor areas including deck space. There was plenty of glassware, plates and silverware for our group of 8. However, the property could use a good deep cleaning. There were no garbage bags or dishwasher pods/soap and minimal papertowels, almost no dish towels (1) and seasonings (no salt, some pepper). Calling the 4th bedroom a “bedroom” is generous. It’s really a sleeping loft with no door or privacy and very short beds . It would be great for a family with kids but maybe not for an all adult group .

Family vacation
This home is huge! Lots of places to gather or have time apart. Marvelous view, great decks for dining and relaxing.

Awesome deck with amazing views!
The deck with amazing panoramic views was the perfect place to spend time with family. Saw lots of wildlife including bald eagles and deer. Very clean, well-equipped and in a great location. Lots of living space on the inside of the house; in fact, way more than was needed for the number of bedrooms. Our only disappointment was that bedroom number four is a loft with no door or any semblance of privacy. Wish one of the indoor seating areas (4 of them!!) could be converted into a bedroom. All in all, this was a great property. Glad we picked it!!

Great view, deck
Very private, lots of space, large kitchen, beautiful landscaping and superlative views!
Close, short drive to two beaches.
Seems like an older space with spacious additions, lovingly maintained. A bit stuffy on arrival (summer, and a warm week), but wonderfully easy to air out with screen doors, screens on every window, and well-placed ceiling fans.

It's a 90's mansion but in the best way. Amazing views and massive house. Very quiet but close enough to the market/shops. Needs updating however was overall clean and would recommend.
3.0
The house is very spacious and has lots of room to spread out. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and plates and such. We enjoyed our stay very much except for that the propane gas tank for the grill was completely out of gas and there was no extra one. We contacted the property management but it took one and a half hour to hear back from them. We ended up going to a store to get a tank on our own and having a late dinner.

Disappointed for the price
The view is unbelievable! However, the interior is worn, dated, and smells strongly of bad deodorant. The master bathroom shower was covered in pink mildew. For the price ($1000 a night for 9 people), we expected more modern, clean accommodations.

Better than expected!
The pictures do not do this house justice, especially the views and grounds. Absolutely stunning. The house is huge and spread out, with many unusual and eclectic touches. The management company is very available and responsive. A few highlights of our trip included a private boat charter with Saratoga Yacht Charter for a sunset cruise on the sound, the hike at Ebey’s Landing, meals at Front Street Grill, The Oystercatcher, and The Braeburn, and just hanging outside on the beautiful decks in the spectacular weather playing games. The house is about a 10 minute drive to the Clinton-Mulkiteo ferry that goes into northern Seattle. We spent one day in Seattle and found the way to go is to walk on the ferry and Uber to downtown Seattle. The car ferry lines can get really long in the summer. Overall a great family trip, and we highly recommend Seascape Lodge.
