This cabin does not fulfill what's promised in the photos. It's very cheaply put together, the staircase is hazardous, the bed frame has large gaps in it, the electrical cords don't seem to be up to code. We left a day early because we were so disappointed in this cabin.

Very nice cabin. Well managed. Good location.

Good location, fence rear yard for dog. Clean and all the necessities of the home. Fire place and fire pit awesome.

We had an excellent experience at this property. Home was very clean, warm and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen so good. Highly recommend!
4.2
Excellent comfort, clean bathrooms & kitchen, beds.
Disliked broken items: washer & dryer, dish washer, toaster. Too many pillows and not enough kitchen towels. Netflix was nice.
Steep parking with curve extremely difficult to park AWD SUV w/o chains due to icy slippery conditions. Learning process better to shovel snow when softer instead of when it’s ice rock hard w/o proper tools (ice pick, sharper stronger shovel etc) at this point. Slip & fall hazards. Could not find Cabin Orientation/FAQ white notebook hidden behind TV until final day of 4 day stay. We had to figure things out as we go, trial & error. Snowing vacation in mountains outside cabin was magical. Keep price down affordable for families with dogs, liability waiver, fees was reasonable and fair. Priceless trip overall, thank you to all companies. PS: two important phone calls to Vacasa fell on deaf ears, no response/promised follow up to safety issues questions were returned from Support Team.

The cabin overall was good but the bed was very uncomfortable. The center of the bed sinks down and it's very hard to get a good night's sleep. My back was sore just about the whole time I was on my trip. This is my second time staying and the first time the bed was worse, they put a mattress topper on the bed but it didn't fix the issue it only made it marginally better. You are still pulled to the center and feel like you're rolling, the topper also doesn't even cover the whole bed on one side it is short by about 6 inches. I don't really have anything else bad to say about the cabin except that there were ants which is to be expected. I genuinely wouldn't recommend this cabin unless they get a new mattress. They tried to put lipstick on a pig by adding the mattress topper. I will definitely not be coming back until they get a new mattress.

Summary:
The cabin looks nice but the bed is very uncomfortable, the stairs feel dangerous, and the mice will get to your food before you do if you don't put everything in the Fridge or a mouse-proof container.
Full Review:
Let me start by saying that I really didn't want to give this cabin 2 stars. The cabin looks amazing, and our first impression given by the exterior of the cabin was great. Our stay inside, however, was not.
The immediate concern that we had upon entering the cabin was just how steep the stairs really are. Other reviews mention how it's hard to relax if you have a child with you, because you'll just constantly worry about their safety around the stairs, and I fully agree. They're just dangerously steep, and not even just for children. Even adults need to be really careful going up and down these stairs. This in-and-of-itself might have only brought my review down from 5 to 4 stars, but unfortunately, there's more.
The bed, which you will probably spend most of your time in during your stay, was quite literally the most uncomfortable bed we've ever been in. Now, some people might be into memory foam so thick that you'll be sucked in toward the center and never heard from again, but it's frustrating when something as simple as trying to move in bed is a struggle. The bed was a definite star removal just based on how much time we spend on it. (the other bed option was upstairs and way too small for us, and we wouldn't want our son up there either due to safety concerns).
Even if the bed and the stairs were both non-issues, the mice problem was a nightmare. I noticed some droppings on top of the fridge on the day we arrived but didn't think much of it. But after the first night's stay, we lost about 1/5th of the food we had brought due to mice chewing through boxes, plastic, or anything non-metal they could get their teeth into that was storing food.
I get that it's a cabin and we're in the woods, so a few ants? Totally understandable.
A couple of spiderwebs with spiders here and there? We get it.
But mice eating all our food and getting into our suitcases? That's a deal-breaker.

Our stay was nice, the cabin was very clean. The bathrooms newly remodeled, and were fully stocked with fresh towels, soap, shampoo, the type of amenities you'd see at a hotel. The kitchen had the basics. They were lacking a bit in extra linens from what we could find. Each set of stairs had a "baby" gate which is really nice if you have little ones. Overall the cabin had a great feel to it. If I were to suggest anything to change this from a 4 star review to a 5 star, I'd say spend a little money to upgrade the barbeque, and add labels to cabinets, light switches, etc, and maybe a welcome binder with instructions, area recommendations, etc.

Nice cozy little get away place, we had a great time. Quiet neighborhood, house was well stocked for our stay. We cooked meals and barbecued at the location. No issues what so ever. Our little Frenchie even loved it!! We only had one tiny issue, the driveway is very steep, very. My car is low to the ground and we could not park in the driveway. Luckily the neighboring rental tenants worked with us to share parking. It is something to consider if you drive a smaller vehicle but definitely not a reason not to stay here. I would stay here again!!

Overall we have a great stay at this cozy cabin. We enjoyed the the front and back porch a lot. The cabin is close to the lake and stores which was great. My main complaint was that if you have little ones (mine is 19 months) is quite a pain since you have to contantly be vigilant because there are lots of steep stairs, one had a very wobbly fence but they other one had nothing. Also I was hoping to let my kiddos run around in the backyard but that was not possible since its was full of stuff and very steep (that wasy fault for not thinking about that ahead). It is a pet friendly cabin and I was able to tell that right away since the throws were smelly and and had pet hair. Also the fridge was not working but did not noticed thay until the next day. I dont intend this to be a negative review, I just feel it is important for families with little ones to know about the child safety issues as (at least how i perceived them). Thank you Vacasa!!!

The cabin was very nice and cozy. The location was close to snow activities. I wish there was a baking pan for cookies but otherwise kitchen had all the bare necessities. The only annoying thing was being woken up by the constant barking of dogs early in the morning but other than that we had a great time. Would definitely stay there again.
