Loved the condo, it can comfortable fit a lot of people. However we booked this spot excited to use the pool and hot tub and couldn’t because the hot tub wasn’t warmed up at all and the pool wasn’t heated as listed. Lovely spot but we were super bummed about the pool/hot tub situation.

Great location, but furniture needs replacing. Carpets could be cleaned or replaced. Unit just needs a good update.

This is a wonderful and large end unit. We have stayed a these units before but this one is unique in that the master is converted into a large bunk room with two bunk beds and two additional needs. The only downside is that if the kids are in this room then the other two groups using the single bedrooms have to share a bathroom. The space is large there is a football table which is nice. The only downside is that the large comfortable couch is leather that is peeling so that you need to sit on a blanket or you will have small leather peels on you. The fireplace was also not working - we reached out to the booking agent who initially attempted to have it fixed but then never followed up. Would have been nice to use . Despite this for a large group and ski access to meadows this is a good rental.

We have stayed in these condos for many years and they continue to get more and more rundown. The sketchy furniture and terrible wifi were real disappointments this year.

Our two families of four loved the location and the big room with all of the bunk beds for the kids was nice (seems to be what would typically be the master bedroom in other units). Unfortunately we lost power for most of our stay due to a snowstorm so didn't get to use many of the amenities (showers, dishwasher, oven, washer & dryer) until the last day. This was definitely not the fault of the owners but was a bit disappointing. Luckily the gas fireplace continued to work and put out a lot of heat so we stayed warm. Thank goodness for that!
As others have stated, the couch is disgusting and falling apart. Pieces all over the couch and floor that stick to you if you sit or walk around it. With the amount the unit costs to rent you would think this could be replaced as it sounds like it's been falling apart for a long time. The kitchen and dining chairs could also stand to be replaced.
The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were very nice and clean. The unit is very spacious with plenty of drawer and closet space. The kitchen is fairly well stocked but did not have a wine opener (and nearby stores were all closed due to snowstorm) so make sure you bring one. There were also no washcloths in bathrooms and only one hand towel so plan accordingly if you use those. We thought there might be some games, cards, etc. in the unit but there wasn't (of course this is not a requirement) but just make sure to bring your own.

The customer service we received from Vacasa addressing our questions was excellent. The condo and pool, hot tub and recreation area was very nice. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room for 12 people. We had 6 plus a one year old. We had an amazing family gathering. I would definitely give this place a five star review if the owner would do some updates. We had to cover the large comfortable sofa with sheets because the vinyl is peeling and creates a mess everywhere including your skin which ends up traveling to your bed. The carpet needs to be replaced. It is stained and worn. The Wi-Fi worked great until it didn’t work at all for the last two days so unfortunately we were unable to watch Christmas movies together.

is what you get. The suite was very much as advertised. We had 10 people (6 kids) and it held us well. We were a little surprised that one bathroom was only accessible via the kids' room but that was okay. The only drawbacks were 1) that the hot tub/sauna/pool are down the road a tiny bit. We didn't realize that and in the winter that's a cold walk. 2) the parking garage gets pretty full on weekend/holiday so you might need to park outside. Place was pretty clean and mattresses/pillows comfortable. You can tell it gets hard wear but it also seems to be well maintained. We contacted Vacasa once and seemed like the small problem was immediately fixed.

Overall, the condo was open and welcoming. The couches absolutely need to be replaced. It is flaking apart and gets all over clothes and very unappealing to sit on. The bathtubs need the drains cleared out and free of hair (won’t work. You need to take the plug out and pull the hair out of the actual drain). The water builds up quickly in the bathtub, making it very slippery and unsanitary. we called three times to get help getting the fireplace on and did not get a response back from Mikasa until 9 PM the night before leaving. No Internet connection to the TV with the king bed room. The condo is open and spacious and could be comfortable with a few upgrades mainly being the living room furniture where you spend most of your time. And the seating at the dining room table is somewhat uncomfortable.

The location was good. We thought about staying farther down the mountain but glad we didn’t as it snowed feet over night and made travel rough. Being closer was better. The sink was broken. That was out of the manager’s control but we didn’t find out until we were already up the mountain. So we spent the first couple hours of our trip trying to sort through whether we should move to a new place or not. They did give us options and ended up giving us some money back, which was nice. The property was a little more run down than it looks in the pics. But this was the only unit we saw that had this many actual beds. Most had bunks which a bunch of old guys didn’t want to sleep on. The place worked out for us in spite of the sink.

This is our second year in this unit, we enjoyed our stay. The condo is spacious and comfortable with a nice view of Mt. Hood from the balcony, and, adequately equipped. Having the heated garage is a big plus. However, there is room for improvement. The furniture is very worn and needs to be replaced, as others mentioned, especially the peeling vinyl sofa and dining chairs. The dishwasher door falls open and is an injury hazard. The microwave cuts off, and quits most of the time you try to use it; mixer doesn’t work. A broom and robe hooks would be good additions. I mention these things because the unit is otherwise good, but, could be great!

Pool and location and bunk room all great

We loved how spacious this condo was, and having a full kitchen for our week-long stay. The condo was close to everything in Government Camp including restaurants, Ski Bowl, Timberline, and hiking (although I wouldn’t say easy walking distance with kids). We went in mid-August and the place was empty! We loved using the pool, although the pool is all the way up by the road, not right by the condo. Parking in the secure garage under the building was definitely a plus. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the fuse ball table too. One downside was that there was a lot of road noise on the south side of the building where two bedrooms are located. We enjoyed the view of Mount Hood from the porch and spent time relaxing out there and enjoying the view! Check-in was easy and we had all the info we needed in the Vacasa app. So smooth.

The unit is a great size for a larger family or two smaller families. We love the close access to trails around Collins Lake and the quick walk into Government Camp. Nice beds and a beautiful view of Mt Hood on clear days are some of the best features of this unit. The unit's furniture and fixtures are showing their age a bit with peeling on the main couch, caved in cushions on the dining chairs, under cabinet lighting that doesn't reliably work, worn carpet in the main living space, and a dishwasher with a really heavy door that slams open. Also the light right outside the unit for was out so it was very difficult to see and enter the door code when it was dark out. Overall we were very happy with our stay but felt that for the price the upkeep on furniture and such would be a bit better.

The layout of #301 Grand Lodge was perfect for our group.
It is spacious and well appointed. They even had enough coffee beans for an emergency pot of coffee before we could buy some.
The condo was cozy with a fireplace and even blankets to cuddle up with.
It was cold and snowy for our sledding weekend and the heated garage was a hit especially since we had a 6 and 8 year old!
This was a great place and we hope to be back next year!

This home was so beautiful. The beds were soft and lots of extra pillows. Great view. The pool was beautiful. It was a very short walk to town. I love that one room had two Full size bunk bend and two queen beds. Every kid got a nice bed to sleep in. I will definitely stay here again

Beautiful view of Mt Hood! Condo was large, open and very clean. Close to restaurants. All had a great time!

Spacious and convenient to slopes.
The condo is large & comfortable, we would stay again. (One very small suggestion, a robe hook in the bathrooms & bedrooms would be nice. TVs are iffy, and the remote in the living room only works from a few feet away.) All in all, a good rental.

Mountain adventure!
Our family had a great stay in Government Camp. The space was a lot bigger than we were expecting - really ideal for big groups. The kitchen was great for cooking in. They had all the basics we needed. The location cannot be beat. We would absolutely stay here again.

Roomy, clean, and well stocked.
I would highly recommend this condo. It is HUGE and so much fun with a big group to have plenty of room. Plus, the beds (even the bunk beds) were extremely comfortable with high quality sheets.

Great Communications
Overall the property was great, I would like to focus on communications. When we checked out on Sunday we accidentally left a load of clothes in the dryer and had to get back into the unit. We called the contact number and the person, Michelle, was very helpful making sure the codes still worked and actually called us back when we were disconnected.

Great location and space
Condo is located in a great location for some fun up on Mt Hood. There was plenty of space for our group and my only suggestion would be to update the living room furniture sine the leather couches seem to have seen better days at this point. Really not a big issue though and will definitely stay here again in the future and will also recommend it to friends and family as well.

Loved it
We loved the place and would definitely stay again. Wanted to give a heads up that the coffee maker doesn’t work correctly. We purchased a cleaner solutions to run through and still took over an hour to brew only half a pot of coffee. Figured I would just let you know to probably replace that. Otherwise we loved it

Everything you need to Need!
This property had everything we needed to enjoy a mini vacay away from home. The kids LOVED the fusball table, there was adequate sleeping and lounging space and the kitchen was well equipped. The condo was clean and comfortable. The code we were given didn’t work and the backup key was missing from the lockbox but Vacasa fixed that fast while we went to dinner and all was well. The building could be labeled better-we weren’t sure if it was the first or second building that we were staying in and neither were marked with a name or anything. (It’s the second building , not the first.) All in all we had a great time at a reasonably priced getaway!

Wonderful rental!
We loved staying here! Everything about the rental was great! Lots of space for multiple families. We really appreciated how clean everything was and how many beds, clean sheets, towels, etc there were. Will definitely be back!

Awesome space for multiple families!
Super comfortable and huge space perfect for multiple families! Heated garage was a great perk and easy walk to the snow park as well as all the restaurants and shops in Government Camp. Beds were very comfortable too. We will for sure be back!

Great stay
Overall very nice stay. We enjoyed the Lodge very much. Our only complaints would be the street noice in the bedrooms near the entry door. We were surprised how much freeway noise you can hear while trying to sleep. Also, this unit did not have any info about the facility or what needs to be done before checking out.

We were surprised how many beds there were. The bunks were all double beds and so were the two non-bunk beds in that room. It was a very nice place and great location. There were a few minor issues that caused some inconveniences.

Would love to come back in the winter for skiing! Lots of room and great for groups. Excellent location and fun short walking around the lake.

All in all it turned out to be a great rental. The first apartment we were in had no wifi. We found it incredibly frustrating that we were unable to speak to someone and had to call, hold, send texts and emails. However, eventually, we got to a real person and they really helped. We ended up moving to a new apartment (that was bigger) with working wifi and they credited us a night. So in the end, they did the right thing.
The apartment was totally fine. Beds were comfortable, good pillows. Kitchen was well appointed. The couch area was comfortable.
Overall, nice and clean.
The location was good - easy drive to Timberline Lodge for the ski camp. Small town but had a brewery, we got pizza from The Ratskeller. There is a small general store for essentials. A real supermarket is a far drive. Overall we were very pleased.
