Good central property but some areas need addressing.
The property is in a really good location close to the town centre and near a supermarket. It is spacious with 3 parking spaces, 4 bedrooms (2 of which are en-suite), a family bathroom, dining room, small lounge, large lounge, utility room, and a large kitchen. There's plenty of space for multiple guests and good communal areas for spending time together. Everything is tastefully decorated and muted so you can fully relax, and there's some great artwork around the property. The appliances work as expected and are plentiful - a large fridge-freezer in the utility, a small fridge and freezer in the kitchen, oven, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There's also plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware and kitchen cleaning supplies such as kitchen roll, cloths, washing up liquid and washing up sponges, Overall this is a great place for quiet gatherings with friends or for a family get together. We only stayed for a weekend but I can see this being a great base for a longer stay, especially with all the facilities available and a bus stop which takes you straight into the town centre just a few minutes from the front door.
There is no welcome manual on arrival which means that you have to work out how to use the oven, radiators, shower etc. yourself which is not always self-explanatory. The information given digitally is also not illuminating so we did think this was an area which needed to be addressed. The cleanliness and maintenance of the property was poor - cobwebs around radiators,; cutlery, dinnerware and mugs in the kitchen were not clean and sticky; there were stains and residue on the dining room table; the placemats were not clean and several lightbulbs were out when we arrived meaning one bedroom could not be used. There was also some wear and tear like stains on furniture and the carpets, scratches on the wooden floors, scuffs on the walls, chipped tiles etc. so it's worth taking photos of these so you are not charged. The lack of curtains in the living room and 2 small radiators in such a large room means that it is quite chilly and also a little disconcerting, although I appreciate in warmer months looking out on the garden would be quite pleasant. The heating also does take some time to kick in so it would be nice if this was put on prior to guest's arrival, especially in colder months (we stayed in November). The boiler failed whilst we were there meaning several guests had to have freezing cold showers on our one full day which delayed our activities, although I must say that this was fixed verry quickly by David who was with us around an hour after reporting.

Super location . Super quiet. Easy access.
Very quiet despite the fact that we were on a major road. Great dining room for the family to eat around. Wonderful oven and kitchen facilities

just right for work not for staying if holiday or long weekends.
location and comfort of the bed car parking great
it had a lot of water stains on ceiling from leaks in bathrooms showing downstairs. toilet open in second kitchen? hot water was Luke warm! stains from leaking water on pipe in big bathroom on toilet waste! everything in that bathroom was loose in the shower felt like it would fall off! it could of been better to take it to the next leave but it’s trying to be something it’s not! a price of £600 not £859 for 3 nights

Spent the weekend with some friends, we had a great time.
Overall the house was brilliant, definitely exceeded expectations. Ample space for a large group with a lovely garden. Hosts very welcoming and quick to respond to queries.
Nothing, everything was great. The only negative is location, we wanted to go to the centre of Oxford and it was £12 - £15 a taxi. We knew it wasn't central though when we booked and the quality of property made up for the journey.

it was OK but pricey for what it was
we were welcomed to the house and shown round, which was really great. there’s loads of space.
several things could do with fixing - taps and bathroom fixtures loose, for example. the kitchen is not well equipped- needs more serving bowls and spoons, a grater, a decent bottle opener, etc.

Comfortable large house for sightseeing in Oxford
This is a great house, very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The bus stop into Oxford town centre is only a few yards from the house and the buses are frequent, we didn't need our car at all. Lots of free parking in front of the house.
The listing in booking.com says 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms but actually 2 of the bedrooms are en-suite and two share a bathroom. The 4th bathroom is actually just a downstairs loo in the utility room.
