Excellent stay, clean property, great location.

We loved the outdoor deck on both levels.

Loved being so close to the beach but did not like the walk down and up carrying everything was rough. Ask the hotel golf cart drivers if u can pay them a tip for a ride up or down to help ease the trouble. The place was nice and had everything we needed for our stay. Bring a fan for days when its really warm, especially upstairs. Did not like that there were NO bathrooms on main floor. For someone that has a hard time with walking up and downstairs this is not the place for you. It was nice with great views. I think the den is just way too small
For an adult to stay in . Should have left it a bathroom!

We had a perfect vacation in this apartment. The pool was heated, hot tub even warmer so that even the cooler weather in the evening didn’t bother at all. The apartment had everything we needed, even the beach chairs. We set up the fire on the beach and grilled s'mores. I do agree that the master bedroom could have the king size bed but the kiddos slept well in it while there was enough room. The apartment is located in the north side of the resort while the address points to the south part.

This condo is a great, upscale, clean property at a great location. We love Seascape and this place is one of the nicest on the cliff.

We stay at Seascape often, always booking though VRBO. This was one of the most updated beautiful units we’ve stayed in. Very well appointed. Only a couple downfalls, the location of the unit requires having the windows open for cool air because the sun beats in midday, but overlooking the pool, it can get pretty loud throughout the day and night. Also carpets could use a good cleaning. Other than that, this was one of our favorites. Also, property management company is top notch. Easy to work with and very communicative! They also did not have a large list of things to do upon checkout, which is nice since as renters we are already paying a cleaning fee and shouldn’t have to do much upon vacating.

Great upgraded condo. Decorated very nice. Heater in the unit. I would stay here again.

The rental was much darker than the picture. The carpet had stains and dirt on it. The downstairs sliding door window had
finger prints all over it. The TV Roku streaming service didn't work even after following the instructions. Smashed shells on the porch balcony. In the master bath the sink one of the knobs didn't function . Only could use hot water, cold water knob was locked( right handle) Soap dispenser contained diluted hand soap. Very watery, a kin to dirty bath water. It would have been nice to locate Kleenex/facial tissue somewhere in the house. There was mold, dirt and dry soap in the shower. Recarding the Ecco Friendly Soap, it was ok but it a potenial of hazard condition of inhaling , getting into eyes and discarding when using in shower. Also there was long black hairs in the bath towels. The master bedroom curtain was broken so we couldn't raise curtain to see the oceanview and we paid extra for that! No locking mechanism on upstairs sliding door to make us secure for locking our valuables. Master bed had smaller bed than the guest room and the beds didn't look freshly made. We tried calling to complain but no one ever picked up the phone. (We have pics and video)I wish we could be compensated for some of these things because it was an expensive vacation, it was a special one at that, my wedding anniversary. It would not of been so bad if they would have just responded to us. Very disappointed with Vacasa.

We loved the location of this unit. It had a lovely view of the ocean and was close to the pool as well as the little market, restaurants and gym across the street. The Seascape Resort is a fun and well maintained complex. The unit is also very tastefully decorated. It has the potential to be a great spot if the unit was properly cleaned and maintained. The carpet is pretty disgusting… needs to be cleaned and/or replaced. The tile needs a deep cleaning as well. The unit also had areas that had obviously not been dusted or cleaned in a long time. There were only two towels in the shared bathroom. The fan in the shared bathroom sounds like it is on its last leg and is disturbingly noisy. Why are there no proper wine glasses in a vacation rental? Finally, we had to scour the place for the sheets, blanket and pillow for the downstairs sleeper which we discovered in the upstairs second bedroom closet when there was storage right by the sleeper. This made no sense. It would not take a lot of effort to bring this unity up to the standard it should be. Would definitely stay here again if they made these simple improvements!

We checked in on a Thursday to find both patios boarded up with wood. We called the construction company and asked for them to remove the wood. They were shocked that this place was rentable and told us that it was extremely dangerous to step foot onto the patio as the roof was unstable. We called Vasca "the owner" and could only get the corporate office who told us that someone local would contact us but never did. There was pee stains from a dog all over each carpet, along with a broken garbage disposal that they refused to come and fix. We had to keep the boarded up patio doors open to get rid of the fowl smell. We had several unreturned calls, text and emails that were ghosted by this "owner". VRBO has stick policy not to rent places under construction, but this was not followed. We were at the sea scape and the owner should have been forced to move us to the hotel on property.

Great location with a pool and hot tub downstairs. Looks like it's one of the renovated units since I saw a lot of other units under renovation as well. Very clean! Only minor downside is no restroom on the lower floor.

The place was ok. The service was good fast at responding to our emails and questions. One recommendation will be to clean the place a little better before the next family. I believe there is a charge for cleaning, but when we got there. There was alot of hair on the floor, food residue in the kitchen, food crumbs in the fridge. The floors needed to be vacuumed and mopped.

We will definitely book this unit again in the future!
We've stayed at Seascape multiple times through the years and this is now one of our favorite units! LOVED all the personal touches throughout the unit. We enjoyed the tasteful decor, ample supplies, close proximity to the pool/hot tub and the beach and the extra TV room was a plus for the kiddos! I was concerned about not being able to use the golf-cart ride service to the beach, but the path down to the beach from this unit was short (7 min. walk with a toddler in tow) and seemed to be less crowded than the beach section on the other side of the resort. We can't wait to stay here again!

amazing house!
We were looking for a relaxing few days away, and we found it! The house was amazing, and just as advertised. Had everything we needed, was very comfortable. Property was very lovely and quiet. Even with a room that overlooked the pool, noise was never an issue. We had a great time and would love to return!

Neat, clean and comfortable stay!
I stayed at this unit last week with my husband and 3 kids (6,7,10) and it was very comfortable. We enjoyed all of the amenities that Seascape had to offer, and it was nice to have the tiny village within walking distance for morning coffee and snacks. The view was beautiful but the bedroom with the view had broken blinds that did not go up so we missed waking up to the ocean. The pool and hot tub were close, but nothing special. It was chilly while we were there so the hot tub was often crowded. The actual unit was clean and neat and the beds were comfortable and it was well stocked. I would definitely stay here again!

VERY Disappointing
Many issues with this unit that combined into a disappointing stay. No hot water throughout the unit. Took 8+ hours after management was notified to fix the hot water. Awful, odd smell in the refrigerator that permeated all the contents. Stained carpets throughout every room in the unit. Pool was closed for 2/3 of our stay and it was not noted on the listing. Broken lock on the bedroom patio sliding door, a wooden stick was in place to lock the door. Badly stained bath towels. I have stayed in other units in this building that were MUCH better. This unit is suffering from a LOT of wear and tear

Lovely place
Great location and tasteful styling. Very comfortable for a family of 4. We used the little room downstairs as a bedroom, but our son just slept on the couch - not as a pull out. you would have to move the table out of the room to open the sofabed and it wasn't worth the effort. This worked for us but something to keep in mind. Our only issue was that there were no spoons in the cutlery drawer so we had to pick some up. and, the resort would not allow us to use the beach shuttle. this might have been a little more of a problem if we had small kids or had a lot of gear to lug -- but we just went down there for a walk on the beach -- which is lovely.

It was great place and we look forward to staying again!
We brought our bikes and had some scenic rides along the coast. We found a great park for our kids to play right next to the resort. We made our dinners and enjoyed the sunsets. After playing on the beach we relaxed in the hot tub and swam in the pool. It is a great place and we look forward to staying again!

Family Thanksgiving at Seascape
This was my extended family’s second time at Seascape and this unit was by far the nicest we rented! It was beautifully appointed, clean and very well equipped. The fireplace warmed the whole unit and while not ocean view, the sunset from the balcony was incredible. Location is perfect near pool, restaurants, shops and beach. I would definitely choose this unit for next visit!

Beautiful and great location
Great spot for families! The place was beautiful and well stocked with necessities like cooking needs and toiletries. The beds were comfy. Couch was big enough for a big group as was the dining table. Close to restaurants and lobby. The walk down to the beach is steep but very manageable. Golf carts driven by staff are available for transportation all over the property.

This condo was exceptionally clean and had everything you needed for the beach and pool.
Tommy Bahama chairs, beach towels, spices, and plenty of extra towels and blankets. There was laundry detergent and dryer sheets, ice chests for the beach. I cannot complain about one thing.
The drain in the master bathroom wasn’t draining properly and within a few mins someone was over with some draino. I cannot wait to stay again. Thank you

Charming spot for a girls weekend
We stayed in this lovely property for a reunion weekend of 4 college girlfriends. The unit was impeccably clean and perfectly appointed. It offered an ocean view (as shown in the photos) and sits right above the pool. Proved handy for us as we could keep an eye on the hot tub and see when it was unoccupied. We ate in one night and found the unit offered all the kitchen equipment we could need. There were also a nice array of spices and a container of extra condiments.
There were beach chairs in the closet and an array of pool and beach toys that would have been great had we had our kids with us. But thankfully , we did not!
We walked the short (5 min) walk to the small market for chicken breasts, veggies and wine. Also had breakfast and coffee in the same shopping center. Very convenient and cute.
The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were super clean and well appointed.
We were unsure where to put the coffee table in the downstairs den once the sofa was pulled out, so my friend ended up sleeping on it as a sofa.
Also something to note, there is no bathroom on the first floor, so be sure to make sure the person sleeping downstairs realizes that.
I'll definitely save this spot as a favorite and will hopefully return!

Great Escape!
The beachfront location is perfect. Views are amazing!! Close to so many great restaurants, beaches and fun in the Santa Cruz area. Home is decorated really nicely with beach theme. Very clean and comfortable. Large fridge and excellent kitchen supplies allowing for dining in if preferred. Walk across the street to coffee shop and Seascape Foods for anything you might need.

Beautiful condo noisy neighborhood
The condo was gorgeous and very well appointed with everything you’ll need. Our only issue was related to the very noisy teens who forced us to shut all the windows during a warm week and woke up my kids at 2 am with crazy base pumping from cars. It was the same issue every night. We are fine with it until midnight but after that security needs to be on it. Lots of small kids trying to sleep.

This is a perfect property for a family, the location with the amenities was such a great experience for my family and I, very clean and very modern appliances, entertainment with comfortable furniture. We already reserved this same unit for 2 future dates, we LOVED it.

Great, family-friendly place
As a family with 3 younger children, we really enjoyed staying here. The location of the unit is great, overlooking the pool and close to the beach entrance. It's nicely updated, however, we did have a minor issue with the master bedroom sheets being stained (that was a shocker at midnight the first night) and the master bathroom shower had mildew at both the top and the bottom of it. Both easy fixes. All in all, we'd definitely stay there again!

Weekend get away
This property is just as it shows in the picture. Great location, very stylish decor and walkable to "main" hotel area.
Pros: property management responds quickly. beach chairs and beach blankets available, beds were super comfy! Plenty of extra blankets, towels and pillows.
Cons: Many of the hotel ammenities come at an extra cost to VRBO renters. For example, Seascape offers beach bonfires and smores kits for their guests. However, if you are a VRBO guest, you get moved to the bottom of the availability list, plus they tack on and extra $100 charge. There is also a charge for the tennis courts (free to resort guests not renting VRBO) and the list goes on. We did not know this ahead of time. The unit itself was great, however- the kitchen garbage had not been emptied from the previous renter and the dishwasher not fully emptied. The carpet on the stairs could use a good deep clean. For their bathroom toiletries, they seem to be piloting some "just add water soap pods." They are awful- bring your own shampoo/ body soap.
We would rent here again, but thought it necessary to point out a few of the cons.

Condo was amazing- but the hotel....
The condo is simply stunning. Meticulously clean and beautifully appointed. Everything about it was phenomenal - amazing view very comfortable! lots of space. I love seascape and it’s been my favorite for years but Covid has hit it pretty hard with restrictions that make it not family friendly. Arriving and not being able to get any food after 8pm or use the “open” pool was incredibly disappointing. When they said the restaurant and pool is open they failed to mention that the restaurant has a very very limited menu and doesn’t open until lunchtime. So there’s no way to get coffee on property or breakfast in the morning. The pool is reservation only which they also forget to tell you. They have an adults only pool that’s heated and fortunately they were letting families swim for the weekend but all of the bookings were full. Just beware and don’t trust the website - make sure to call the property directly and ask for specific so you can plan accordingly. Pulling into town and having starving kids and no swimming made for a really rough start for our vacation....

Great beach break!!
My family of 5 had a great time! We walked across the street for morning coffee, breakfast sandwiches and pizza dinners, we also loved Sanderlings restaurant! The beach is a bit of a hike. The unit has beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, beach bag and sand toys! Plenty of room for all of us! Wish we would have known that the pool was reservation only and closes at 6pm vs. the posted 10pm. So be sure to reserve a time! Also, call in to the Seascape concierge ahead of time to schedule a beach bonfire and s’mores!! They were booked when we tried. The beds are super comfortable, everything was clean and well maintained. We look forward to returning!!
