Children are especially welcome and guests staying in our cottages have full access to all the facilities enjoyed by those staying in the guest house, including the grounds and swimming pool. You are also welcome to make use of the reception rooms in the house and to reserve tables in our restaurant. Or why not treat yourself to a full English breakfast - just ask the day before.
The former gardener’s cottage was renovated in the early 1990s, and bears the name of the lady who lived there for much of her life, before she reached the grand old age of 100. Mrs Page’s is a ground floor cottage with one twin bedded room (look out for the holes in the walls where there was once a hidden safe) and one single room.
The bathroom has recently been refitted, and the farmhouse kitchen has a gas cooker and hob, fridge-freezer and washing machine. Mrs Page’s has a beautiful beamy spacious living room complete with piano—feel free to fill the cottage with music! You’ll also find freeview television and a DVD player, along with wifi throughout. There is space for parking both to the rear and in front of the cottage.
Alongside a choice of en-suite rooms in the beautiful Georgian country house or self-catering cottages in the adjacent barn conversions, we have a fabulous restaurant serving lunch and dinner and hosting special events throughout the year.
(Please note - our restaurant usually takes bookings two weeks in advance so please do reserve your table quickly! There are no tables set aside for residents!)
The Grove really is a very special place steeped in history, which has been offering accommodation by the same family for 78 years. We like sharing it; and aim to provide you with the space and tranquility to genuinely slow down and relax. The heated indoor pool is ideal for children and adults alike. We are also close enough to Cromer to be able to wander into the town and to the cliffs and pier.
North Norfolk has plenty to offer from numerous stately homes, and National Trust properties, places of interest, bird reserves, to beautiful unspoilt beaches and market towns. There is also lots to do for children. Cromer has its own zoo and go-kart track, and North Norfolk as a whole ranges from boating on the Broads, to adventures in Bewilderwood.
For the golfers, The Royal Cromer Golf Club is about a par 5 away, so couldn't be more convenient.

Have stayed here several times. Love location and cottage especially being close to beach and town.

Lovely, quiet spot on the edge of beautiful grounds which lead you to the sea path. Easy 10 minute walk to town via the main road if you prefer. Easy, convenient parking which is a big issue in Cromer town and does affect choice of holiday places. Lovely friendly staff, highly recommended.

Lovely young lady with glasses- didn’t get name sorry. She is such a welcoming presence! Very good at her job- made for hospitality! Gentleman who checked us out didn’t ask if we had a nice stay- just thought I would mention as this is not usual.
Just to mention the kettle in mrs Page’s is leaking around top edge and bunk beds could do with screws tightening I think as rocky and creaky. That’s all. Thanks.

Short half term break. Exploring the Norfolk coast line.

Hidden back from the road you find cottages and the hotel with pleasant gardens and an indoor heated pool. The adjacent woodland and path to the coastal walk makes it great for walkers or strollers a like.
Will be back!

A friend and I spent a lovely few days in Mrs Pages which was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Just a short walk into Cromer and the grounds were lovely. The added touch of a Christmas tree in the cottage really set the mood for our pre-Christmas break.
