We had a lovely 4 day break in Borougbridge, explored the local area for a couple of days and visited family. The property was described as quirky and bijou which it lived up to. The host made us welcome and provided Tea, Coffee, Milk and cream cakes on arrival, there was also a fruit bowl. It was a nice touch to give us a cyclamen gift to take away. There were lots of little heaters to keep the place warm & toasty. All I would say is that it would be difficult to cook a meal in the kitchen area as very basic, saying that there are some lovely pubs and coffee shops to visit - which we thoroughly enjoyed.
We would definitely visit the Boroughbridge area again. North Yorkshire is a beautiful place.
The kitchen was very basic which was fine for us but not if you wanted to properly self cater.
If I'm being really picky the shower could have done with a bit more pressure, but the water was lovely and hot.

Very cosy little room with a comfortable bed, nice decor, in a walking distance from the shops, in a pretty quiet street. Great for a single traveller or a couple.

Georgina is a lovely host, met us with keys and gave a brief introduction to the area. Fantastic location. Free parking nearby and close to shops. Pubs within walking distance for evening meals or breakfast. Easy road access to main routes to York, Ripon and lots to see and do in the area. Tourist Information 2 doors away.
Nothing negative

The accommodation is excellent value for money. Georgina, the host, met us at the property and could not be more accommodating. Tea, coffee and plenty of fruit were provided. More than enough to last for the duration of our stay. The property is a gem.

Excellent central location for touring Yorkshire.
Loved the quirky property and the owner is a lovely lady.
Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, apples, oranges, bananas and even a plant and seeds were all there to get us started plus we were given a tour of the place.
Can't fault it.

Georgina made it really special for us, and she had added a Christmas twist to the apartment. We had a magic stay here! We had Christmas stockings, Christmas hamper, and we were a short walk from the social club, which means that we had great impromptu visits to record-playing nights, a live band, and we loved the whole visit
Nothing, it was amazing :)

Me and my boyfriend absolutely loved our time at the hideaway! The facilities were excellent and it really felt like a home away from home. The location is fab too!
No salt and pepper haha! But no complaints otherwise!

The apartment is located in a very central location on the main street through Boroughbridge. It has everythng you need for a comfortable stay, and our host, Georgina, was great. As we were mostly gone during the day we managed to park on the street overnight with no problem.
The apartment is very compact, and there are stairs up to the bedroom/bathroom It was fine for us, but it might not be a good choice for people who have limited mobility or need a lot of space.

Lovely village location. Ample parking. Good variety of shops and eating places. Easy access to York.
We were there for 5 nights and we were comfortable but if we had been there longer we would have liked more living space to move around.

Lovely location in the centre of Town and easy access to A1, Ripon, etc. Georgina, the host, would bend over backwards to ensure my stay was excellent. Cannot thank her enough.
