Staff was nice , overall cleanliness was great. Great area of town to be in time square is walking distance and has great places to grab a snack or a quick bite
Rooms are nothing like the pictures, they were made to look bigger in photos but the room was the size of a walk in closet. A price was set and they charged me more than what said price was. Beds were extremely uncomfortable my back started hurting after the second night. People were slamming doors. People were just loud , definitely need to fix the shower situation, shower curtain is extremely short so water is all over the floor when you get out. They provide you with just a small towel , they’re like the towels hotels use for the floor and only provide you with one and you have to pay extra for another towel.

The facility is adjacent to the Fashion Institute of Technology. It was convenient for my working in Kips Bay.
The bed was comfortable. I slept well. The codes to enter the building and the room worked well.
I was in 4D, a room at the top of the stairs to the fourth floor. If I stepped a few inches to the right after leaving my room, I may fall down a flight of stairs.
The stairs have several curved steps to the top of the stairs to the third and fourth and fifth floors. These present challenges to footing.
Carrying my luggage up and down three flights was challenging.
The window in 4D led to a platform to a fire escape. There were mechanisms to open the window to escape. The screen for the window had fallen to the floor of the outside platform. I fear being stuck in the room if there is a fire or other emergency.
The light at the mirror in the bathroom on the fourth floor was dark. Only the shower light worked.
Persons with mobility issues may be unable to access the room, the bathroom, and the kitchen.

The location…very central.
1.0 / 10.0
Room is uncomfortable and comfort rooms are shared with other guest as there are no clear description of rooms posted online. Safety is not assured as there are no receptionist and staff to assist. Hallways are dark and aircon can not be adjusted.
Unsafe accommodation

Bra läge, fräsch toalett och dusch.
Inte städat under sängen. Litet rum, ganska lyhört. Samt en ac som gick igång var tjugonde minut vilket störde en när man sov

Only the location
The rooms are not noise isolation meaning you can’t sleep at night due to a lot of noise coming from outside. My worst stay in booking.com. I feel like asking for refund. Not worth the money. No body responded to my complaints . I managed to survived the 3 nights there!!!!

Location
It is dirty, loud, smells like weed, really small, the furniture was dirty and ac made a lot of noise. Worse place I have stayed in a while.

Facilities were very good. Great location and central to everything
No full time staff

Cheap price compared with hotel
Amazing location - near of empire state building, flatiron, Penn Station, The Edge, Times Square..
Lot of bathrooms - you will probably find unoccupied
Doors are pincoded - both rooms and main doors so you will feel safe
Subway is near
Private room - its advantage when we consider this is hostel, not hotel.
Warm water
Drink machines in kitchen
2 fridges in kitchen
Room was way too small, literally claustrophobic. It contained everything that was needed, but there was no space to move. Its okay if you are just going to sleep there and spend 99% of time outside.
Weird smell everywhere - weed?
Bathroom was dirty - you will find black dots in shower.
Check-in was weird. You just sit in kitchen and have talk few minutes. It was weird for me, i am introvert and my english is not so fluent - its not my first language.
They also wanted my credit card info (even with CV!) during check-in
Wifi almost never worked. Signal in my room was terrible, my phone kept losing signal. I couldn't even contact my family. I always had to go outside, there was public wifi and signal to use.
Mattress was probably very old - lot of inequality, it wasn't very comfortable. Too soft for me.
Nobody cleaned my room for whole 7 days.
Its noisy here - you will listen other hosts and even street. Take earplugs if you want to sleep.

shared kitchen was quite nice.
bed and shower room need to be well cleaned. and also really need a quilt, not just a tiny blanket. sometimes nights are cold. security should be upgraded. may meet drug people and police came late at night: (

lovely decor, very comfortable bed and good communication from the staff online
. a great location and despite reading some negative reviews online i was really happy with the accommodation and
only drawback was not enough towels (I only got one) and it would have been good to have a separate one for the bathroom as the flow got quite wet and nothing to clean up with. the wifi wasn’t great at times and drop out
4.0 / 10.0
I loved the location because it was short walking distance from West 30th Street and the train station.
I didn't like the size of the bed. I'm 5'9" & needed more space. The cover on the bed was way too small and since I was on the 5th floor, the stairs were too steep and made my legs extremely sore. The room was a small box with no tv. My college dorm room was bigger than that space. And the restroom down the hall around the corner was a decent size but you had to wait if someone was already in the shower or go to another floor to use the restroom. The site also listed the room was $143 and that my total was $227 but when I arrived at the hostel, I was asked to pay $238. Way too many fees which made me feel I was ripped off. I would definitely not return for my next business trip in September. I will find a hotel that will accommodate me better for my comfort & money.

Incentra Home is conveniently located. Penn Station and Madison Square Garden are a few steps away, and so are subway stations. The property is very clean, and guests can use the kitchens.
Rooms are very small.

The facility is a few blocks south of Moynihan Train Hall. It is convenient to trains.
Room 2C was spacious overlooking 29th Street. The bed was comfortable. The room was tastefully decorated.
I had hoped to check in early or to leave my luggage at the facility at 11 am. I called to leave a message and received no call. I went in person to ring the doorbell to elicit no response. I then carried luggage for the day until I check in around 5 pm.
Although there were two rest rooms on my floor, both were occupied so I had to walk up a flight to locate an empty restroom. I had to provide my shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The room lacked a telephone and a television.

Great location and price, good walkability, nice staff.
The bed was literally a cheap 2 inch Amazon mattress on top of an also super cheap, practically wire frame. I worried it'd break of I sneezed in the night. I'd have given this place top reviews all around as a nice hostel but the bed was genuinely THAT BAD.

Location
the room was very tiny--not at all like the pictured room, with a loft bed. VERY cold until the heat came on in the middle of the night and then it was crazy hot. No staff on site all night. It smelled very intensely of disinfectant cleaner. it was nauseating. It was the worst place I've ever stayed and that's saying a lot

help was nice, quiet, clean, old timey. my first room was bad but they accommodated me, cause it felt claustrophobic, tiny. Hair and lipstick on sheets but my room transfer was spectacular! Room to move, comfy bed. Walls are thin, but property is private and near (20 min walk) to time square.

Super location! Nice, friendly staff. Clean kitchen.
Big minus for issues with wifi and heating. I had 4 nights there, 2 were ok and 2 were a nightmare because it was so cold, I was freezing in my room and there was noone to ask for support.
2.0 / 10.0
Noisy, no staff at all, water in bathroom is barely warm, room was cold also. At the sheet it says that two towels should be provided, only had one. Lots of hair on the sheets. My charge is also more that at Booking.com.

The place is located in a very nice area near the high line in Chelsea NYC. The staff is very friendly, the rooms and other facilities are clean. I always like to stay in places with shared kitchens, so you can meet and talk to other travellors if you want to.
From the street it has no sign whatsoever so that one would know that there's a hotel. Staff is only available from 3 - 9pm. If you arrive earlier you have to arrange to leave your luggage elsewhere.

Only thing I appreciate about the property was the central location. It was close to Penn Station close to Times Square close to everywhere I needed to be.
I just moved to New York City, and instead of signing the first lease I found I decided to stay in hostels and airbnbs. I asked two separate staff about monthly stay rates with no response after being told, I will be gotten back to within an hour. Every request that I made to the staff was not fulfilled. The rooms are cold. There’s barely any hot water. One day of our stay there was no water at all, and they decided not to tell us until hours later. They advertise room service with no room service. There was a lot of construction going on with strange men throughout the building, with no forewarning. I stayed here a total of two weeks I spent almost $1600 and feel like I wasted every dollar. Will not be returning.

Location
Bed was quite uncomfortable, very poor WiFi in the room (didn’t work on my laptop), nobody around for assistance, no lift and I was on the 5th floor. Carting luggage up the narrow stairway was a mission and no help was offered.

I liked everything! From the exceptional staff to the warm and inviting facilities, it feels like home away from home. The Incentra Home Chelsea will forever be my preferred place to stay in the city!
Personally, there was not a single thing I disliked about my stay. I'm easy to please but this place is also always on point.

The location and cost are great for the area. When staff are physically around they are very helpful, and the rooms are nice.
On the last day of my 4-day stay, I left my face and body wash bars drying in the shared shower so that I could pack them that evening, but while I was out during the day, the staff cleaned the bathroom and my soaps disappeared- I assume thrown away although there were plenty of other bottles left in the shower. There were no signs anywhere saying that we couldn't leave things in the shower, and others definitely did leave things in there. I tried calling management as it was still during hours, but they didn't answer so I left a message. They still haven't gotten back to me.

Location is great and you get a tremendous amount of space in the middle of New York. Kitchens are also very spacious and nice. Onsite staff availability is nice and they are good people.
The beds look like they were made between guests, but the rest of the room definitely was not regularly cleaned. The stairs were also hard to negotiate with luggage--if you have lots of luggage, make sure to request a lower-floor room.

Headboard fabric ripped.
