Often difficult to find a pet friendly rental for family gatherings, but this place was just right. Offering a large yard and great deck for outside play. Inside was welcoming to all - we enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the accommodations.

First, please check Google street view to ensure you know the neighborhood your are in. Yes, technically one mile form downtown but not really walkable (traffic/intersections). Housekeeping had not reset the house when we arrived not owners fault. But what we were compensated for having to make beds, clean bathrooms, etc. was lees than great. Disappointed overall.

Family of 4 in town for bike races in Jackson Park--location was ideal (could actually ride to the venue). Quiet neighborhood, convenient to grocery and other needs. Well-appointed kitchen, spacious deck and backyard. Exceptionally clean. Very nice supply of games. Listing is very accurate. Highly recommend.

The house itself was quaint and in a quiet area. the dog loved the spacious, fenced yard with all the squirrels to chase.

Let me first state that this was our first experience with a Vrbo and really didn’t know what to expect. Please read through because it ended up being a good experience for our family. We came in late afternoon and we were a little shocked at the location of the property. It was located in a fairly “run-down” neighborhood and we were initially unsure of the safety of the area. (My husband is retired law enforcement and one of my daughters currently in law enforcement) The property/landscaping was not well kept. Grass was cut but vines growing on the fencing, deck, house, etc. Grass high on the property line, etc. There was a very large deck (in which our grandchildren enjoyed) but from a property liability perspective, many loose/rotten boards. Several patio pieces had unsafe seating but there were other furniture pieces that were ok. I specialize in risk management so property owners may want to replace some decking boards and “worn-out” patio furniture. We truly enjoyed the big backyard! The screened in patio was awesome and our grands certainly enjoyed the dart board and other games provided. The house is older but has been renovated and was pleasant and met all of our needs. We were a little disappointed that TVs were not provided in all bedrooms and no ceiling fans anywhere in the house. The 2 TVs provided did not work until my husband replaced all batteries. I do feel that the Vrbo site should reflect these details. With all said and our stay, I would stay there again

Perfect layout for our 3 generations: Grandparents, parents and kids -- roomy and lots of nearby resources -- grocery, CFA and McD!

Lovely refurbished home in an established neighborhood. Very close to downtown but not quite walkable. We would certainly stay here again.

We had a great summer visit! There was plenty of room for 3 adults, a teenager and a dog. We all enjoyed playing darts on the back porch in the evening and sitting on that porch to have coffee in the morning. The backyard was big and our dog thoroughly enjoyed it. We want to rebook for next summer. Crossing our fingers it’s available.

This home is well located to downtown Hendersonville and getting to Asheville. We had 4 adults and 2 small dogs. The fenced yard made it easy to relax on the very large patio deck. Then when rains came, we sat in the nice screened porch. House was clean and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable time.

Our stay was just right. The outdoor appearance when you drive up is not appealing. The home is comfortable and clean. Great deck and yard.

My 2 Brittanies really enjoyed the big fenced yard, lots of running room! The home was well stocked with lots of kitchen supplies and a nice selection of games in the library.
Power went out for the neighborhood one evening. The primary contact took my call quickly and the homeowner texted me after contacting Duke Power to advise me of the status.

Couldn't stay because master bed collapsed. Tried contacting the support staff multiple times via text and phone - no response except we'll be in contact soon. No response or contact from anyone to assist us. So very disappointed in VRBO and the management service Evolve. Also no contact from owner so all in all a terrible experience.

Couldn’t have a better location. The house was perfect for our needs - two kids under 7 and our dog. Fabulous fenced in yard for everyone to run around. Kitchen is well stocked (we cooked a lot). Very pleased with our stay!

Wonderful property very cozy and in a quiet location. Was perfect for us with our kids as the bedrooms are away from other living spaces. Almost walking distance from the downtown area and restaurants. Very close to any needed shopping. Would definitely stay again.

We checked in just as the terrific winter blast of cold hit the North Carolina mountains along with the rest of most of the country. We had a couple of mechanical issues that would never have been an issue in normal winter weather, but with the ready responses of the owners and the Evolve team we worked through them. We enjoyed our stay but did not have the opportunity to have a "normal" stay because of the extreme cold, and so I don't believe that I can give a fair rating such as I could in any other weather. We have had many rentals all over the country in the past many years and we rate the owner responses as 5 stars +. Our granddaughters joined us and had a terrific time.
We hope to rent this property again!

My sister and I traveled with our 91 year old mother. This turned out to be the perfect house and location.
It felt like home for all of us as it was cozy and the kitchen was well equiped. The bathrooms were modern and clean. Perfect for a walk to various grocery stores and downtown Hendersonville. We had a perfect trip.

Close to downtown Hendersonville, Dog friendly!!!
Beautiful, fenced property and spacious, cozy, comfortable home with thoughtful amenities. Great deck and easy to use kitchen.
Definitely plenty of room inside and out to relax or play.
Close to many stores and restaurants. Some homes around the area look questionable, but this home is well updated and clean.
It was a somewhat quiet neighborhood with neighbors close by on the driveway side.
Good deal for a bigger family with multiple guests and sleeping needs.

Close to Flat Rock
The house is located in a quiet neighborhood near a busy commercial area. It is very close to Flat Rock- 6 minutes to the bakery and Carl Sandburg. The owner responded immediately to a question i had. However, my communication with the rental company was not effective in terms of time. They must to better responding to emails.

cozy house, great yard!
Had a great time for our short stay in Hendersonville! The fenced back yard was great for our athletic lab who loved running around and chasing sticks. Our youngest loved the scavenger hunt for dinosaurs around the house and we played darts, board games, and got to eat outside every day on the deck during a lovely warm spell in December. Beds are comfy, kitchen was well stocked - nothing more we could ask for :)

Perfect getaway with great access
Lovely mid-century home with everything we needed for a week away. Quiet neighborhood, lovely 1.5km loop for walking with minimal traffic. Less than half mile from multiple groceries with curbside or delivery. Fantastic German restaurant also very close; other eateries easily within a casual walk. The fenced yard all but surrounds the home - the dog loved it! I brought my fire stick for tv. One note - two functional fireplaces with screen only. They were very clean, but I could smell them when I arrived. Not an issue at all unless you’re highly sensitive/allergic. Excellent communication with owners. Agree laundry would be an added bonus, but definitely not a deal-breaker! Highly recommend and will definitely be back again! Thank you for sharing your home!

Not quite what we hoped
This house was not quite as nice as we had hoped. The pictures are accurate, but I think winter may not be its best season. We didn't bring any pets, and may have appreciated it more if we were traveling with a dog. Note that there is not a washer & dryer. There were also no dishwasher pods or paper towels supplied. There were no top sheets on the bunk beds, and I sincerely hope that the blankets get washed between each use. The queen bedroom became very hot, especially at night with the door closed. We were able to remedy this by closing both dampers and putting things over the vents. The house did not heat evenly. The neighborhood was less walkable than hoped and a little run down. However, we enjoyed the game closet. For local restaurants, we enjoyed HenDough & Haus Heidelberg. We ventured to Sierra Nevada for dinner which was excellent! Our kids also really enjoyed gem mining at Elijah Mtn Gem Mine and playing on the playground at the Laurel Green Park.

Perfect spot!!
This house was well appointed and comfy cozy for our family during the Thanksgiving weekend! Quiet. A block to grocery store. big fenced in secured yard. Great deck but weather too cold to use.....will definitely try to stay there again!!

Family Reunion
Ideal for family gathering. Plenty of space indoors wind out. Minor issues to make:
explain trash - when does it go out to road, which are ours if already at roadside.
Need more than one set of trash bags.
Need more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom
Need more than 1 towel per person or need washer & dryer.
Why no washer & dryer- seems like necessity if staying more than a day or two.

TV AND HOST COMMUNICATION
HOME AND PROPERTY ARE OK, NO ASSISTANCE FROM PROPERTY CONTACTS AFTER SEVERAL TRIES, CLEANING COMPANY WAS GREAT AND HELPED. TV SET IS DIFFERENT AS YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SMALL ATTENA ON COUCH TO GET REDEPTION

Fantastic place; clean, convenient, deceptively large
Just make sure you put your full weight into opening the gate. Otherwise, the place was wonderful.

Nice Home Close to Downtown
The property is located very close to downtown in a quiet, safe neighborhood. You can walk to a nearby grocery store, chocolate shop, hot dog/lobster roll restaurant (lobster roll was delicious!) called Great American Hot Dog, and a German restaurant. The yard is large and fenced, which is perfect for families with pets. There are multiple hiking destinations located <30 minutes from the home. Downtown Hendersonville is a quick <5 minute drive and has tons of shops and restaurants. The Elijah Mountain gem mine was a hit with the kids.

Excellent house, perfect for family or group of friends
We had a bid family reunion in the area, and for a few nights there were too many of us for the place we rented. I rented this as a "spillover " house, and needed it because my nephew had a dog. It ended up being awesome, do much more than we expected! The house was super clean with nice beds, nice TV, well-stocked kitchen, and a sweet patio where we all hung out one night when my nephew made dinner. I totally recommend this house for anyone in a group who needs a nice place, with or without pets. The owners had a really nice list of things to do in the area.
