Location, design, build of the suites, the bees. The room design and minimalist feel is lovely.
Staff are very sweet but they have no idea about hospitality and service.
It feels like it’s run by people who have never been to hotel school or worked in luxury ( or any) hotels. It’s not possible to share a luxury destination ( in its new iteration of farm to table, things that money can not buy) if you have no experience of what that means
The space is run down ( the organic garden is dead) the uniforms are disheveled ( wear what you like), the food is really average which is awful considering you are a captive audience ( only salsa and guacamole are great)
This is my fourth visit and each time the property goes down in quality of service and overall ambiance. At close to $2000 it lacks gravitas and the authentic connection to the land. So much potential, so little attention from management.

The views and the food are amazing, and the staff are extremely helpful!
The road to reach the place is quite bumpy, it would've been helpful to know to rent a better car.

This place is such a dream. Driving up the East Cape along the coastline, really made you feel like you were getting away from the bustle of Cabo and into a laid back, wilder and more rugged landscape. We were greeted by donkeys on our drive in, before arriving at this little oasis tucked up the hill. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. You could tell they genuinely love this place and are happy to share this with guest's. We stayed in the Sunrise Suite which had an unobstructed view in front of us to the ocean. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to the sunrise streaming through the bedroom currents. Really couldn’t ask for a more relaxing getaway. Next time I’ll definetly come for longer and explore the area!
It was definitely. However the property is quite small so you do see the other guest‘s balcony’s depending on where you are in your own room.

Staff seemed short handed at times. Waited for check in and meal service was slow. Food was delicious however and all staff friendly. No where to rush to, so all good in the end.

Beautiful place, amazing food, fantastic location with almost nothing around. Love the unique sustainable buildings too. Location is clearly up and coming ao get there before it gets crowded!

Very quiet and secluded get away on the East Cape. Good food and service. While we like a firm bed, the mattress was a little hard for us. If you want peace and quiet though, it is a great choice!

Loved the Lodge, was such a peaceful, relaxing stay. The staff were great, as was the food we had there.
The views of the Sea of Cortez were fantastic, and were treated to many whales putting on a show close to shore.
This is a perfect getaway, even just for a few days to get away from the hustle and bustle of the resort towns.
We will be back again!
Coming from San Jose del Cabo, there is a short stretch of road that is not paved to get to the Lodge. It was fine to drive with our car. I would just recommend taking it slow, and driving during daylight. The end destination is very much worth it!

The staff completely made our holiday they couldn’t have been more polite or friendly. The hotel was very tastefully appointed and was spotlessly clean.
Nothing, it was faultless.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place, far from everything, perfect to deconnect. Amazing views to the ocean. Perfect yoga deck to see the sunrise. Spotlessly clean, big rooms and comfortable beds. Fireplace in the room. The most beautiful beach is only a few steps walking from the hotel.
Staff is friendly but lacks training in service. Food could be a bit more local for the evening menu, or at least if they propose pasta and pizza, improve it. Tasted the worst pizza ever :( Although for lunch and snacks it was great.

If you’re looking to get off the tourist trail this is the place for you.. if your looking to party it is not..
the rooms don’t have tables for sitting.. laptop, tea, ect..

architecturally speaking, it was interesting and the views are wonderful.
no beach for the property, no yoga, no electric bikes that we could use as a group, an hour drive from the airport that is nauseating, toilet paper has to go in a trash can that it 4 inches in diameter…disturbing.

The pool was great! Perfect temp for a November swim!
The drive from the airport was smooth and easy to navigate.

Remote and by the ocean, the location is great for whoever wants to be far away. Nice beach style design. They offer healthy food in their restaurant, which is a big plus.
The original room we booked had no windows and no air condition, which made it very stuffy. We had to upgrade to get a room that would allow fresh air indoors. A bit too pricey for the level of service and comfort, hot water was running out and bathroom sometimes smelled of sewage. Staff was welcoming but lacked training, only the last day they offered us our complimentary breakfast.

proximity to surf and nice staff and great food.
room flooded with brown rain water both nights.

The hotel is located in an amazing place, far away from noises and chaos. Stars at night are stunning!!
The view is really amazing and the hotel is beautiful!
It's not so easy to reach the hotel since both google maps and Waze ask you to follow a rocky road (contact the hotel prior to your arrival to ask them the best way to reach it).
Strongly suggest to rent a 4x4 or a small SUV to be safer on sandy and rocky roads.
Personally I'm not a fan of the toilet located in the room with no doors to separate the spaces.
My checkout experience was not the best since the manager was not at the hotel and the final checkout was made by a waiter in FaceTime with the manager (with no folio to be printed prior to my payment).
3.5
Nice hotel with great see views.
The hotel and the food in the restaurant was a bit overpriced for local standards.

The staff was exceptional, the food was delicious. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Very relaxing and loved the location.

The location is incredible. The rooms (we stayed in two different ones) and the common areas are beautifully and tastefully appointed. The staff friendly and helpful and the service in general is excellent.
No complaints

The location and decor was great. Food was not too great
Pool could be cleaner , food was very exotic but not always tasted good. Menu could have more
Variety for different days.

decor, style, setting, staff. AND THE MUSHROOM GNOCCHI WAS TO DIE FOR.
needed milk at early morning coffee, and some of the exterior steps on the property and gravel was a little dangerous underfoot. the roads to this location are very bumpy and off road, and a bit of a nightmare but once you arrive it worth it. the roads need SUV or jeep.
We only stayed one night and booked last minute, but on booking with welcome email I wish we were told that you had to book 24hr in advance for massage as we were unable to have one during out one day stay.

Food and service are amazing
Pillows and sheets are ok but they could be a bit better and softer. Sink needs repair

The facility is incredibly beautiful and relaxing. The pool is really nice and the atmospheric music was pleasant. The fire in the lobby was really pleasant. The nature trail down to the beach was really magical
There were hidden fees so I ended up paying a lot more than bookings.com than it would be. The water pressure in the shower was really low and since the ocean was bit cold in March it was a bit disappointing because I wanted to warm up and there was not enough water coming out to do that.
Then I really like milk with my Coffe and there was no milk set out at the Coffe station, then when the restaurant opens the Coffe station goes away and all there is, is spiced coffee which tastes good but I kind of wanted access to regular Coffe

I love the peace and energy of the hotel together with the staff. I loved the breakfast and the massage experience.

service & views from the lobby. our room didn’t have an ocean view.
outstanding service by Carlos, Leslie, David, Mattia, Kayla, Su,Rodolfo and the gentleman from
the bar. Seems to be a happy place to work. great location to relax. it would be great if there was yoga or free access to the SPA.
binoculars during whales season would be awesome.
every single employee we run into was friendly and professional.
the food at the restaurant is lack in options and flavors. I’ve informed before arrival I’m celiac (can’t eat gluten) but they didn’t have many options. The employees worked their way to find gluten free bread. We loved the chileaquikes from breakfast and the charcoal lemonade. Service was super slow during breakfast hours.
