Tolle Anlage

Es war eine tolle kleine Anlage, die von außen unscheinbar wirkte. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Zentrum, was aber fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen ist. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Die Fahrräder hatten wir einen Tag ausgeliehen (kostenlos). Aber die sind mit Vorsicht zu genießen. Da ist einiges defekt.

nous avons été déçu de constaté que la terrasse de notre chambre soit partagé avec d autres personnes, nous aurions aimer le savoir avant...pour l intimité cela est compliqué et nous obligeais a voir les rideaux tirer constamment

Gezellige sfeer, goed ontbijt, ruim appartement, leuke bar/restaurant.

Nice spacious 2 bedroom apartment next to the pool. The children of 10 and 13 years liked the net and hamac/relaxing chair upstairs most. Good breakfast with several options like scrambled eggs, Mexican warm special dish, pancakes and toast. Nice restaurant, good food, not a lot of options but fine and good cocktails. Really kind staff, nice pool, liked this hotel most of the 8 hotels in Mexico. 5 minutes walk to city centre.

Small detail: regular coffee included in breakfast but I prefer cappuccino and that is not in the price. I saw massage tables and bikes but make a list with prices in the apartment. But just an advice, everything was perfect.

für ein paar tage eine gute adresse

die unterkunft ist gut gelegen. alles sehr sauber und sehr freundliches personal. frühstück war ausreichend von der auswahl her für drei tage.

die kostenlosen fahrräder sind in einem sehr schlechten zustand. es ist gefährlich mit denen in der umgebung zu fahren. passt eigentlich nicht zu diesem hotel diese schlechen fahrräder. sehr schade.

Too expensive for what it is

The bed was comfortable, the pool area is nice, AC works good, and the size of the room is decent.

The information on booking is incomplete. The place is pet friendly, however we were charged 200 a night for the dog. The check-in and check-out were not friendly or welcoming. Feels like the staff is annoyed to work and wants to charge extra for silly things. We had a balcony, but it was shared, which is also not indicated on booking. The breakfast was included, but is really bad. We tried it one morning and decided to eat out the rest of the days. The location is not the best. It’s somewhat close to the town, but the street is dangerous at night. A bunch or dogs run after you and bark, and it’s very dark.

A hidden gem!

The hotel exceaded our expectations! The pictures don't do it justice. It is a lovely secluded oasis. The rooms and the pool are very nice. I would definately recommend it. We felt like we were in a luxury resort. Location is great, near the center but silence.

Although the staff was very nice the service could be better. For example, in the morning there is a lot of staff just hanging out at the breakfast area. They play their music quite loud. The result of this was that we woke up because of the music every morning very early because our room was right across the area. The breakfast buffet was often empty meanwhile the staff was also eating from the buffet. Details....

A home away from home in a stunning location. A quiet oasis of calm and serenity where you can truly relax and unwind.

We loved the fact it was a quiet oasis of calm nestles away from the lagoon. This is a perfect boutique hotel with the quality of a larger hotel but the friendliness of a smaller establishment where we got to know all the staff. We felt very much at home!

There was nothing we did not like. Even though the lagoon was not on our doorstep it was only a 5-10min walk (depending on how fast you walk) but we had the option of using their free bikes which was fantastic.

overall excellent. Aurora was very helpful explaining all the available tours. The food at the restaurant was also great. The rooms are comfortable and the entire place is very clean. Walking distance to good restaurants in town.

a little oasis in the city. modern, pool and restaurant were nicely situated. rooms were very comfortable loved the atmosphere, the neutral colors of the rooms. nice walk-in shower with good products. breakfast included ! and bicycles.

need a few more bikes for taller people. have more salads on the menu. I wish it had views of the laguna.

Highly recommended for luxury at a bargain price

Beautifully designed modern accommodation in a clever rendition of Mayan village style. Gorgeous pool and plenty of lush palm trees and other well landscaped vegetation. Interior design is immaculate with just a few details unfinished because it’s so recently built. Staff are tremendously welcoming and helpful, determined to ensure your stay is as comfortable as they can make it.

Noisy neighbours sometimes well into the night. And if a large party of guests descend for a night’s revelling you can’t really get away from it if it coincides with your plan for an early night, owing to the compact nature of the hotel’s plot. Neither problem is the fault of the hotel and it’s the luck of the draw that can affect boutique hotels the world over.

Executive Suite not worth the extra money

The bed was very comfortable. The staff very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was great. Very good A.C. Nice pool and restaurant. Free, secure parking.

We paid extra for the "Executive Suite". The room had no T.V., no chair, no desk, no lamps and no decorations on the walls. The outdoor patio furniture was dirty and not inviting. The coffee in the restaurant was not good and did not offer tea. Strange concrete floors in the room and throughout the hotel looked old and dirty. No where to put your luggage except on the floor.

Great staff, relaxing and comfortable stay. Our favourite place we’ve stayed in Mexico thus far!

The property was very well kept. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and extra towels provided for pool. The pool and restaurant/bar are perfectly situated between all of the rooms. Parking in the front, accommodated our large vehicle, gated as well. The location was about a 10 minute walk to the central of Bacalar. The staff were very friendly and so helpful!

A hidden gem

Loved the style of the hotel. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. Wish we had more time to lounge by the pretty pool area, but were too busy exploring the town, which was close on foot. It was great that staff helped us with our laundry (wash, dry and fold) for a small fee, so we could continue our travels with a luggage of only clean clothes.

The safety box in the room didn't seem to work. We reported to reception but issue was not rectified. The sliding door to the spacious shared balcony could not be locked and unlocked, so we choose to keep it unlocked, so we could have access.

we loved it

It’s a new and gorgeous hotel and it oozes Bali vibes and it very relaxing. Big room, 2 queen beds, clean! Pool is small but so inviting. Breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola, fresh pancakes and if you want some kind of egg breakfast dish. Strong internet. Free bikes, but you can walk to the hub of the town in 7 min. Very helpful staff.

Not their fault: the street they are on is a sore in the eye, but very safe!
