Excellent location and comfortable apartment with conscientious and pleasant staff.

Cute studios conveniently located near the city center. Clean and great communications! Would stay again.

Much smaller than I expected - and a step from the bedroom was not easy for us (who must get up at night; I'd luckily brought a nightlight from home. We two couldn't eat together indoors unless one sat on the bed since there was only one chair. (The outside chairs, at a small table, were latched down so we couldn't move one chair indoors & it was too cold both morning & evening to eat outside. A small folding chair can easily be stored in the closet. The bathroom lacked a towel rod for holding a wet towel spread so it could dry. We appreciated the chocolate but I needed medium roast unflavored coffee (dark roast was fine for husband but not for me); I was grateful to get prompt & good response to my request, with instructions to access storage to choose more coffee (though the initial code I was given didn't work & I had to call again). We didn't see an indoor container for our recycling (glass, plastic, paper) so we just gathered it up as best we could to take to the outdoor recycling bin. I may have missed that there wasn't a one-burner cook surface; we made do by cooking eggs in the microwave. Very comfortable bedding & mattress & ample towels. Biggest issues for us were the small space, indoor step, & single chair. This place may be better for a younger solo person, who doesn't want to cook anything except in a microwave.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The whole place is so relaxing and the bed is unbelievably comfortable. We had everything we needed and were more than pleased with our accommodations.

Besides it sounding like an elephant was moving furniture around at 2:00 in the morning 3 out of 4 days of our stay, everything was perfect! Its a short drive to downtown, walking distance from an IHOP, and in a really cute neighborhood that is great for walking around. We felt safe the whole time and were sad to leave. You also can't beat the price for the location. It is a little small, but for two people who enjoy each others company, its perfect! I am also not sure how the other units are, but we were in a room with a bathroom, king bed, and a space with a microwave, sink and fridge. We will definitely recommend this VRBO to anyone who asks, and will be back!

Very good communications from manager of property.

This place was perfect for our 3 night stay in Santa Barbara. It has a cozy feel, with everything you need inside. It was only about an 8 minute walk to the State St. shops. Plenty of restaurants and things to do around the area.

Nice, comfortable, and easy. The space was small but perfect for the night
4.8
Very nice studio. The space was a little tight and the step out of the sleeping area is scary. However, the place is very well remodeled and high quality materials are used. We enjoyed our stay and was located in a very convenient location.

I had a lovely 2-night stay here on a recent solo trip to Santa Barbara. The bed is HUGE and comfy - I especially loved the super soft throw that I found in the closet. I also really loved the shower floor - the river stones felt like a foot massage!
The kitchen is very basic, so I wouldn't recommend if you want to cook or eat in at all. But if you're just bringing home leftovers from enjoying the city's many wonderful restaurants like me, it worked perfectly!
Management was extremely repsonsive and helpful. Wifi wasn't working the first night but they responded ASAP and fixed it as quickly as they could. Folks in the upstairs unit were being a bit loud and management reached out to them immediately and asked them to quiet down, which they did and which I very much appreciated!
I wish there were an arm chair or somewhere to sit other than the bed, but aside from that I loved the place and would absolutely recommend.

It was a simple stay place but Santa Barbara is always expensive

Having lived in SB for years and returning to visit, this was a nice location. It's just off State so it's quiet, but close enough to walk to a few places. It's near the park and the theatre district and the neighborhood is quiet. The unit is small but has a large bed, a big enough fridge for a weekend stay, and all the basic amenities you would hope for, such as a coffee machine and tea kettle.
It was a bit pricey, but I'd consider staying again because of the location and comfortable bed.

Close to Funk Zone. Property was clean and parking was easy.

Very nice
Thanks

The only thing that I did not appreciate was the early morning noise (on Sunday morning) coming from the second floor unit.
4.8
We had a great stay - the unit is right in walking distance to all of the shops - and things in Santa Barbara. We could easily walk to the Santa Barbara Bowl, as well. Perfect stay!

This location, ownership, the property are beautiful and we are definitely going to come back. If I could give extra stars I would!!

very nice, loved it!

Nice stay in Santa Barbara and reasonably priced

This is a perfectly charming little space in a prime location. We walked to dinner and brunch. It had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable.
The bed was so comfy and the shower was spa-like.
4.8
It was a great place to stay. It was really clean. The only thing is if your staying at the bottom you can hear them walking around especially if they have kids jumping around. I wasn’t in the room long enough for it to be a problem
4.8
Great little place for a quick trip to SB. Interior finishes were nice and the bed was very comfortable. Had all the little amenities and was in a great spot!
4.8
It was a perfect place for a couple to stay, not too small. Lots of facilities and was very clean and organized. Always nice and cool in the room, A/C worked great. My only complaint was the people upstairs were stomping very loud, but I called and they took care of it. Highly recommend.

Casa Valerie is a hidden gem. An added bonus of our stay was the location of the unit, which was walking distance from state street.
4.8
Location is great, and building is beautiful and clean. Unit had all amenities (and then some!)—would definitely stay again.
4.8
Such a beautiful, little condo! You will enjoy this stay. Parking was easy and checkin was simple. I felt very safe.
4.8
Great accommodations in our favorite place!
4.8
Perfect space for a solo traveler! Large bed, beautiful huge shower and functioning small kitchen area perfect for microwaving leftovers and making coffee. Coffee pods were great! Though open to the street, there was a cafe table and chairs with a beautiful fountain for outdoor breakfast just outside the front for. On my visit, the room was wonderfully quiet.
Keyless security was awesome and Uber always found me with no problem.
Only caution I have for this studio is the large step (maybe 6 inches) between the bedroom and rest of apartment. It could use better reflective tape as I missed the step in the middle of the night and stumbled. I left the bathroom light on at night for the rest of my stay.
But I would highly recommend this charming apartment that manages to offer everything you need in a cozy, modern space. Close to everything!

What a great location...we enjoyed everything.
4.8
Excellent location to explore downtown Santa Barbara.
4.8
Comfy and cute little studio with the best location! Would definitely stay here again.
4.8
Beyond small for the price
This is a room with a bathroom and it is so tiny that you barely have room to get around the bed to use the restroom at night. It was difficult for two people to stay comfortably and almost impossible when my daughter stopped by before her graduation to just sit and talk for a moment. They have divided a house into several rooms and you can hear the other occupants more than you'd expect. With that said, it was clean and the bed was comfortable with clean linens.
4.8
Super cute and great location
So easy to walk or bike everywhere. Really appreciated the little touches like having plates, forks, beach towels, etc. Bed was so comfortable!

Great Location
The suite was very clean and the location was excellent. In a very nice neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again.
