About this cabin rental
This home was built in 2019 by an expert craftsman with the vision of making it cozy and spacious with sweet artistic details and lots of care and love. The home is 300 sq feet but feels much more grand inside. You will be nestled on 14 pristine acres of forest, with two decks, your own personal private hot tub, and a spring fed creek not too far down the driveway. There is a gas fireplace outdoors on the porch, and an outdoor fire pit for your use as well. The house has a queen size bed in the upper loft, a large twin day bed on the first level, and an extra loft with camping mats if needed above the day bed. The house can comfortably sleep 3 and up to 4 or 5 especially if a couple of them are children or petite people. The house has a full kitchen and bathroom, living room area and two lofts. For now there is a composting toilet that is easy to maintain and we are happy to help you with it if you’re on the land for more than a few days. The main house is about 30 yards up the hill, and although somewhat close, you will have plenty of privacy. We are close if you need us, but we try to give all of our guests ultimate privacy. The house is under a huge magnolia tree, so it stays shaded in the summer and quite cool. There is an AC unit and heaters in the house as well.
There is a personal hot tub, which is screened in, and located on the front deck of the house now (updated photos coming soon!). You will love it! There is a back deck that is only for meditation, yoga, and bird watching, and we ask that folks stay silent on the back deck if they use it.
If anything is needed down at the house we are available. Much of the time there is a massage therapist on site, so if you are interested in getting Bodywork please just inquire about prices and availability. There is also a wood-fired sauna, so if you would like to sauna please let us know.
And an added bonus is that you are only 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and LOTS of great hiking, great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries and more. Asheville is 15 minutes from the tiny cabin and Weaverville is 10 minutes away.
This is not a place for parties. Our neighbors are about 200 yards down the hill so we try to respect their privacy and keep it quiet. That is why we have made the back deck a retreat/silent deck. Maximum of 4 guests.

If you are looking for a place to rest or explore while being close to nature with convenience, this is the perfect place to stay. Kellie and her family were great communicators, mindful to give me privacy and yet the thoughtfulness in developing her tiny home and property could be seen and felt. The location can’t be beat, the surrounding forest is peaceful and drive to the property is beautiful and easy. Close to all the Blue Ridge has to offer as well as shops, dining, hiking ect. I look forward to visiting Kellie and her tiny home for as long as she lists!!

Staying in Kellie’s tiny home was just what we needed for our trip to NC! We spent a lot of time exploring, but it was such a cozy and welcoming place to call home for the week. Kellie provided EVERYTHING (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, towels and washcloths, etc.) which was such a lovely surprise. It’s a beautiful drive and very quiet which we appreciated! The home is just outside of the small town Weaverville and is worth exploring too. The home is perfectly positioned between Asheville (20min drive south) and hiking spots and mountains to the north as well as a quick yet scenic drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway (about 10-15mins). We’re so thankful we found and decided to stay in Kellie’s tiny home!

This is an absolutely perfect little escape on such a tranquil piece of land! My wife and I had the best time and thoroughly enjoyed Kellie’s tiny home. We had everything we needed and everything was flawless the whole week we stayed, including the hot tub. Not to mention the location is ideal being only 15-20 minutes from Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway and settled in the back of a quaint, small town.
Kellie was the best host we could’ve asked for - super hospitable! Any woman that is willing to take out a strangers poop bag from a compost toilet is a winner in my book! In all seriousness, she hands down saved our trip when we had an issue with our rental car and gave us several jumps, loaned us jumper cables and even offered for us to borrow her personal car. Where else would you get that?
I would highly recommended this property to anyone looking to escape the fast paced city life and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
P.S. Stoney Knob Cafe is a must stop. Best to make a reservation.

Disappointed!
Listed as a quiet property however 12 hours each day there was consistent banging of some type of machinery. Unit incredibly uncomfortable. Had to crawl to the most uncomfortable bed up steep stairs - Disapointed

My partner and I had a wonderful time staying on Kellie’s property in a tiny home that was built from as many sustainable materials as were available. This charming home sits on a private wooded lot at the bottom of the hill from Kellie’s main residence. The hot tub was the perfect way to warm up after long hikes through the snow and afternoons spent in the mountains. The Biltmore, downtown Asheville, Black Mountain and downtown Weaverville are convenient places to venture to for coffee, food and incredible desserts. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to explore a hospitable region that seems to attract free spirits and community creatives.

Great little getaway!
We loved staying in the adorable tiny home! It has everything we needed for a quick visit to the mountains. My family was not really big on the composing toilet, but we also had to close the bathroom window on the last day because it was so cold outside. With that being said, we knew what we were getting into, and the property owner was quick to come empty it when we asked. It does not change my opinion that this was a 5 star stay!

The view, isolation, and cleanliness were great. The tiny house offered a remote feel while still being within reach of downtown for experiences
