Everything’s perfect!

Amazing staff, very welcoming and kind. The room was very confortable and nice, all you needed was present (shampoo, conditioner etc.)

Possibilità di lasciare i bagagli prima del check-in e dopo il check-out senza extra costi. Staff super gentile e molto disponibile. In posizione tranquilla non rumorosa. Possibilità di utilizzare la cucina ed il frigo ad uso comune. Camera spaziosa perché ero da solo (ma se per 3 persone, come predisposta, è piccolina)

Peccato il bagno in condivisione, non molto pulito per forza di cose. Non c'è una tenda oscurante nella finestra quindi la mattina prestissimo è già luminoso. Il condizionatore è di quelli mini mobili quindi molto rumoroso. Poco spazio per appoggiare la valigia. Non ci sono molte prese elettriche, solo una multipresa sotto il letto

It was a nice stay and I would stay again.

I liked the location. The property wasnt far from Bird Kingdom and also other Niagara tourist attractions. The property was clean and had all the facilities we needed.

I didnt like the stairs leading up to the room especially when carrying suitcases. I didnt realise we were going to be put into the loft room, which obviously had slopping roof, which I banged my head on several times (my fault of course!).

Comfortable and calming stay

We had a great stay! The property was very clean, nicely decorated and was located in a charming picturesque street just a 10 minute walk from all the buzz. Hosts were really kind and helpful.

Licht und Schatten

Die Cheerful residence ist genauso wie auf den Fotos abgebildet. Das Haus ist super sauber und ordentlich. Unsere Tochter hatte ein tolles Zimmer mit zwei Betten für sich alleine. Ihr wart in derselben Etage hätte sie sich eigentlich mit anderen Gästen teilen müssen, aber das zweite Zimmer war leer. Das Bad war groß, sauber und mit Fenster. Bei uns im Dachgeschoss hatten wir ein eigenes kleines Bad, welches leider nicht ganz so toll war. Dazu später mehr. Die Nichte der Gastgeberin war immer wieder vor Ort um unsere Wünsche zu erfragen und zu erfüllen, was wir sehr positiv fanden. Auf Nachrichten wurde schnell und sehr freundlich reagiert. Ansonsten war der Weg zu den Niagarafällen wunderbar zu Fuß zu bewältigen und die Lage erschien uns gut genug um zu Fuß zu gehen. Unser Auto konnten wir neben dem Haus parken, was sehr praktisch war. Die Küche war perfekt ausgestattet und man konnte auch größere Mahlzeiten bequem zubereiten und zu sich nehmen.

Unser Doppelzimmer unter dem Dach hat uns leider nicht so gut gefallen. Das Bett war sauber und bequem, aber das nachträglich eingefügte Bad ohne Fenster ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Zum Duschen war es ausreichend, mehr aber auch nicht. Es wäre wahrscheinlich besser gewesen die beiden Doppelzimmer in der ersten Etage nebeneinander zu nehmen und uns als Familie das Bad dort zu teilen. Die die Treppe ins Dachgeschoss war mit Koffern sehr beschwerlich, da sie mehr eine Stiege als eine Treppe war. Für große Menschen ist das Zimmer unter dem Dach auch nicht geeignet, denn es ist niedrig und hat Dachschrägen. Da wir aber vorab nicht wussten wie die Örtlichkeiten genau aussehen, hatten wir gedacht, dass wir in dem Zimmer im Dachgeschoss etwas mehr Privatsphäre mit dem privaten Badezimmer hätten. Außerdem fanden wir es nicht besonders angenehm, dass direkt gegenüber des Esstisches eine Überwachungskamera hing. Es fühlte sich unangenehm an, beim Essen in dieser Form beobachtet zu werden.

Superb

We were close enough to walk to the Falls area, the niece of the owner who was staying there was very nice, our room was big, and the place was clean 😀

The double bed, while comfortable, was a bit small for 2 people (but it was alright). The people in the other room on our floor kept the bathroom door closed even when they weren't in it, so we were never sure if the bathroom was in use or not. That was no fault of the owner or the property of course.

Hosts are nice people in welcoming and facilitating guests. We arrived earlier than check-in time and could put away our luggage in advance in their home. They also love to provide local information.

The check-in and check-out procedures are not clear: you can just come in without even showing who you are, which proposes safety concerns. The night is extremely noisy, parties were until early in the morning. The stay is basically a mixed living with the house owner. During the day, the BBQ smoke is quite strong.

Property itself was very nice and clean… we stayed in the Jupiter room which has two beds. The bigger bed was quite comfy and supportive but the little bed was a little less so… the air conditioner in the room worked well so we stayed cool even though it was hot outside. We had a key to lock the room as there’s another guest room right next to it and one up on the 3rd floor. Bathroom was well maintained and shower worked very well. We had a bottle of water left for us in the fridge which was nice.

The only thing I didn’t like was the responsiveness of the host/property. The day or so before check in, they were fairly responsive, responding to a text message of mine and then sending check in details through Booking.com. However once we checked in, I saw there was a sign in the room that said the house gets locked at midnight every night for guest safety, and if you will return after midnight, to let them know. Check in time was the window of 3 pm-6 pm, and I sent them a message at 6:20 through Booking letting them know it was possible we’d return later than midnight depending on traffic, and to please not lock the house. They didn’t respond, so I wasn’t sure if they got it. I updated them hours later saying we would indeed be back after midnight and please don’t lock the house… I sent another message after that, and also a text asking if they got my Booking.com messages because I hadn’t heard back and didn’t want to be locked out. I tried to stay in really good communication and they did not respond until about 9 am the next morning. I was really afraid we might be locked out, but luckily we were not. So that’s the only thing… they really should have been responding after check-in happened, not just before. If we had had a major issue with the room or something, it seems they would not have seen the message. Other than that, everything was good.

Excellent value for money, location not bad. We walked a lot into the main falls area.

Long way from the falls. Not much in the way of grocery stores near by Would have been good to meet the owners on arrival, to obtain info around the area. 2nd bed in room squashed between a wardrobe & some sort of dehumidifier with vent out of window was a little strange.

Very good

Very good location, a quiet residential neighbourhood a short, nice walk to the falls and centre of city. Bed was comfortable, everything worked and was clean.

This is an AirBNB type property, there isn't normally staff there, you use a keybox. My room was on the top floor, the second flight of stairs was pretty steep and parts of the ceiling were pretty low. The pictures in the listing are accurate.

Great stay, pleasant, comfortable and very good value for money.

The owner was very welcoming and helpful, easy to communicate with. The stay represented very good value for money. I had access to a fully equipped and working kitchen, dining and sitting area. The loft room was very spacious with shower and toilet facilities and very clean. The property is in a quiet area, it is within 10-15 minutes walk to the falls and iconic tower, also within walking distance of groceries and tourist area. I will stay there again if in the area.

Access to the loft is via uneven steps and quite steep. A bit tricky to get the case up there but manageable if one is relatively physically fit.
