Great place for a large group with three generations. Our seniors are still pretty mobile and could handle the stairs. We enjoyed the property and the amenities. Something for everyone .

Birch Haven is a wonderfully equipped, beautifully situated property with very responsive owners and gave us a great venue to get away for a week with our family. We recommend it highly!

My family stayed at this home with our in-laws. The first floor setup was excellent to give them their own space with a bedroom and en suite bathroom and kitchenette/cafe. My children loved the game room and the room of bunk beds. We utilized all of the fun amenities including hot tub, bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, grill, fire pit and outdoor games. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and spices. Beds were comfortable. Each room has its own mini split so you can really customize the temperature no matter which room you’re in. Bring your own beach towels for the lake and hot tub. This was the only thing the house was missing. We had a great trip and would rent this house again in the future. The trains were audible but not bothersome and didn’t wake any of us up.

Great trip with grandkids with a few days at Silverwood and lots of time exploring the lake. Home offers convenient access to all the northern Idaho has to offer.

The house was clean. It was the first time that a property has had everything we could ever need. There were so many fun activities, games, bikes, and water toys that we were never bored!

I took my adult granddaughters and family for a weekend vacation to kayak and play games and have fun. A little problem with the hot tub but hosts responded quickly. the house was so comfortable and lots of wonderful amenities. The train noise bothered one of the family but the rest of us slept right through. We would come back for sure!!!

We brought our family here for a family vacation. My husband and I, our 13 year old. And our 5 year old twins as well as our senior dog and our 1 yr old dog.
We stayed at the house for 5 nights and it was honestly just an amazing week for the entire family. The creek was low so we did not do anything water related. We just hung out at the house and it was everything we could have asked for.
Sandy was quick to respond with any and all questions I had and the information on the property was thorough and made check in a total breeze!
The house is meticulously maintained and has everything you’d possibly need (except some Tupperware or ziplock bags for storing left overs. Pack some of those and you’ll not need anything else!)

This was a great place to stay, fairly close to town and quick enough up to the ski hill that you don't mind after a day on the slopes. The yard and water would probably be great in the summer and the bunk room would be great if you have a bunch of kids. Everything was nice and well taken care of and the communication was great.

Clean, quiet neighborhood. Game room was a big hit with all the munchkins. The frequent trains (noted in listing) were somewhat of a distraction. Close proximity to Schweitzer and Sandpoint a big plus.

Amazing spot and better home. Highly recommended!

The house was great. Plenty of fun games indoor or outdoor. Location to town was great. Only down side was the train noise at night. Cheap ear plugs after the first night and all was good. Will stay here again!

We loved the property. Just as represented on the listing. Very well stocked kitchen with ample dishes and seating for a large group. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board. Fun spot to paddle around. We even saw a moose and baby along the little inlet.
The last day we did have some problems with the washer as it was not rinsing well.
But all in all a great place. Thanks!

This very clean, well equipped home was a pleasure to stay at for our family of 12 getaway.

I stayed at this property with four other siblings and two of their spouses for wedding activities in Sandpoint. The home worked out very well and was well stocked. We were busy enough in town with other family that we did not have near the time we would have liked to enjoy the kayaks and other amenities, but it was great to have that option. We had a couple minor inconveniences that the owner could not have anticipated, and received a refund for those that was not either requested or anticipated. A great place to stay that I would consider again if I had another group in Sandpoint.

Great family place.

This house, property, & lake access was utilized for our family reunion. The place is quite accommodating to all ages w lots of variety of activities. All had a nice time. The only downside was lack of sleep due to the close proximity to the train. During the day it was no problem, however at night it would blow its horn. Like 6x a night. I’m wondering how there’s no mention in any of the reviews or listing. I feel for the price of rental, foam ear plugs should be provided.

Our whole family enjoyed this house. It was fully stocked and there were a lot of little things that really made this place amazing. The game room was a hit with the kids and they also loved the kayaks. It was nice to have coffee in the kitchen and we liked the book with recommendations for local places to eat and visit. It was very close to town to shop and launch the boat and we were able to leave our boat tied up to the dock during our stay. If we make it back up the Sandpoint we know where we will stay. Thanks so much!

The property was exactly as advertised. A short kayak trip down a short inlet leads to lake. Only "problem" was the moose in the inlet with her calf blocking our access. But it was awesome to see.

This property is exactly as described! It is well stocked, extremely clean, and the check-in/checkout process is smooth and easy. There’s a game room here that we didn’t think we’d use, but our teenage boys loved it! We stayed as a group of three families and this property had everything you could wish for and more for a great stay by the lake!

This property is beautiful and very well stocked with equipment and things to do. The weather was the coldest it has been all spring but with all of the things to do we kept very busy and even got lots of relaxation. I would love to stay there again.

We had a wonderful week-long vacation and the house was perfect for our extended family! Lots of space, huge backyard and easy access to the lake from the backyard. We would love to come back!

Had family from out of town coming in for a wedding and all wanted to spend time together as we live in different states. This place was an amazing get together home. We bbq’d, hot tubbed, Cornhole, made side dishes for the wedding, and hung out by the lake inlet. The place was so well stocked. We VRBO often and this one had everything and gave you enough soup to do as much dishes or laundry as you needed too, which is not always the case. We usually come to this area with our surf boat but weren’t bringing it this time but am grateful that the description of this place lets you know the portion of the lake in front of the house is kind of seasonal and for outboards only. The game room was amazing! And the checkout process was easy.

Tremendous property. Stayed 3 nights with my significant other, my adult kids & spouses, and 6 grands. Lots of room to roam in the beautiful house and the grands loved the bunk room, playroom, and huge back yard. Easy access to Sandpoint & Schweitzer with plenty of activities and sights to see. Did not use the hot tub or the lake and the toys due to cool weather. Highly recommend this property !!!

Awesome property with a great bed layout for multiple families with kids. Meals around the table with the bench seating was also great for the group. We loved the game room area and additional space that it gave the house.

What a great home! This place had everything we needed for a relaxing winter weekend. Close enough to skiing that anyone could go for the day and come back to lots of activities at the house for the night. Felt like we were a world away but only a few minutes drive to Sandpoint!

This home was a fabulous fit for our large family group! We cooked, puzzled, played games, rocked the game room and walking the dogs in the neighborhood! The outdoor hot tub was a special bonus and we all had the opportunity to enjoy it😁
Oh and we loved the 10’ table with benches in the upper level dining area. It easily sat all 10 of us👍
Thank you so much!

The property listing perfectly covers what you will get at this home. It is was beautiful, clean, and so fun with all the activities. We booked late in the season so didn't get to enjoy the water activity, but the location and space was perfect for a family get away. We had so much fun playing all the games!
We brought our grand dog with us and she loved every minute of the property. Dog bowls, special blankets, and a well fenced back yard made her trip.
Couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely be back! First VRBO that we have stayed that had so much information on the coffee table. Recommendation on where to dine, things to do, and check out it was all so useful.

Super fun family vacation spot
Super fun family vacation spot! All of my children want to do this every year now… The home was very well stocked, very comfortable, and clean. All of the lake toys and games that were provided we’re all clean and in working order. Our hosts, Sandy and Elliot, were very attentive and helpful. My husband and I both commented that this is by far the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in.

Perfect vacation rental for families with kids!
We really enjoyed the place and everything worked out great for us! the EV charger, game room, kitchen utensils, beds, hot tub. Couldn't ask for more! Kids had a blast. Sandy and her husband are very helpful when we need to figure out how to make the EV charger work. My only feedback is it would've been nice to have bit flexibility on the check-out time as we had to rush things trying to take turns for 3 baths among 15 of us while also trying to prepare and pack some food for kids when we hit the road.
