really had an amazing time. Owners were great and super helpful and it allowed us to enjoy family time with no worries. Really amazing stay and most beautiful location

We arrived late the first night of a 3 night stay while checking out the backyard noticed by no means is it waterfront it’s quite a walk down to the dock actually then a guy on the porch hollers getting in late huh I said ahh yeah he told me he was the owner a bit strange didnt want to go somewhere and be watched over the so called private hot tub is located between the two houses and all his side windows look right at it nothing private about it the pics of the property don’t even show that house or the other house that exists just a bit below it mouse droppings on kitchen counter in bathroom sink and in shower as well not enjoyable what so ever packed first thing in the morning and left we were there a total of about 10 hrs out of a three night stay that’s how great it was extremely disappointed and honestly lied to because the property is nothing as was described that’s for sure

The property was spectacular - the cabin was perfect - the owners next door were very friendly - we will be booking for next year for sure.

Amazing views of the lake. Amazing location. Amazing owners live next door very friendly. Stayed May 9th-12th, Mother’s Day weekend, got to see the amazing northern lights. Over all it was a great old rustic style cute house. Perfect for a bigger family with older kids. Will definitely stay again. Thank You.

We had great time lots of fun in this beautiful house with super cool neighborhood

Beautiful view of the lake. Minor issue with a water leak but quickly fixed by property manager. House is due for upgrades but everything worked and was adequate for our stay. Pots, pans, baking, and roasting pans were limited, I recommend to bring anything needed. Some basics were limited too, measuring spoons, can opener, wine opener. We bought some and left there for the next visitors. Make sure to note two bedrooms upstairs are not connected on the interior to the main house, you have to go outside, there is a shared bathroom though. Overall we had a good stay.

To begin with, upon our arrival, we were immediately confronted with a severe rodent infestation in the kitchen area. Mice were present throughout the premises, leaving droppings on the countertops and contaminating our food supplies. This unsanitary and unhygienic condition not only posed a health risk but also greatly compromised our comfort and enjoyment during our stay. We discovered that the door to the back of the property was broken and inadequately repaired. This lack of proper maintenance not only compromised the security of the premises but also inconvenienced us throughout our stay. We expected a well-maintained and fully functional property upon our arrival, and this negligence on your part fell far short of our expectations. Additionally, the beds in the rental property were stained with urine, and there were no mattress protectors provided. This lack of cleanliness and attention to detail is highly unacceptable. As paying guests, we anticipated a clean and sanitary environment, which was clearly not the case. I regret to inform you that my husband sustained a serious injury on the property due to a broken tile on the dock. As he was walking, one of the tiles broke in half, causing him to fall and break a rib. It is distressing to note that when we contacted Vacasa to report the incident, their response was limited to expressing concern for his well-being without taking any proactive measures to ensure the safety of your guests.

This house needs a much better description on VRBO. The two levels are not accessible from inside, only an outside stairway. Not ideal for families with smaller kids. The dock is not within eyesight & while we were staying there, was under construction & we were not able to use it. We were not told about this major inconvenience until the day of check-in. Parking for 2 vehicles is nearly impossible... 1 vehicle is what should be advertised. The house is only a couple feet from a busy street which means its loud from the cars & also fairly unsafe. The house was not clean... a lot more attention to detail needs to be paid on all aspects of cleaning.

We had a great five days at the property. Beautiful view from the cabin and the dock. Overall, the listing was advertised well but should mention there is a walk from house to dock. A photo showing the true distance should be added.
Cabin was well stocked but should include ziplocks and Tupperware. We brought up our own umbrellas but those should be added for shade on the dock.
Also, there was a big wind storm last night, 4th of July. Huge white cap waves were crashing the dock and did significant damage. It will need to be repaired. I have photos of the owner would like to see.

The setting and proximity were lovely. We never received communication for our arrival directions. We had to elicit the entry code from Vacasa. The hot tub was lukewarm. It was not clear how to obtain firewood.
The main home was separate from the upstairs apartment which sat on a busy trip. The price was desirable, but not sure I’d return.

Overall we did enjoy this home and found it to be cozy. We also loved the view of the lake.
The only downsides we found were that the hot tub was cold upon arrival and was constantly cooling down by itself. Also, the dishwasher would not function.
These things aside it was a enjoyable stay.

My two sons and their families and I all drove to meet at this truly great home! We came from three directions: Washington, Montana, and Oregon! Fortunate to have perfect weather and our own personal dock which was just steps down the hill, we paddle boarded, swam, enjoyed our lakefront fire and totally relaxed, played outdoor games (badminton, football), lazing in our hammock, ate on the covered patio, and our golden retriever, Moose, was in Heaven!
We never left this vacation home as everything we needed was right there! Grandma (that’s me), had the downstairs bed & bath and the short steps up to the other two bedrooms and bath welcomed my sons families!
Great TV downstairs too, though we only watched one movie, “The Greatest Showman” together! Too many fun things to do outside!!!
The large kitchen was nice to accommodate both my sons as they prepared all the meals and the cupboards provided all the necessary pans, bowls, utensils, etc.!
It was a perfect place to spend a lovely family vacation! I highly recommend this home!
PS: The home was nicely cleaned upon our arrival and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed a few minutes past 10 am to wash, dry, and fold as many sheets & towels as possible to help lessen the awesome housecleaners chores!
I would only make one suggestion: it may be a good time to replace the blender (might be on its last leg) and also provide a selection of small cutting boards. That’s it!
Heartfelt thank you’s!

Meh..
The setting is beautiful. The carport sits right on the road and people fly by so it is a bit dicey backing out and there is road noise in the bedrooms. The cabin could use some TLC. Pans covered in grease. All of the pot holders were dripping went ( in the drawer) ? There were no kitchen garbage bags? They don't supply coffee filters so we had to go and buy those ( and garbage bags), the first AM . The downstairs shower has a lot of mold , around the tub and on the ceiling. It met our needs and the dock was lovely but for nearly 1400.00 for a weekend, I expected a bit more. There are many options. Would not rent again.

Wonderful time and property
We absolutely loved this property and had an absolute blast! So cozy! Only complaint was we did not realize the property was separated with two rooms up above and only outdoor stairs to get to it. But it’s a minor complaint!

Comfortable Stay, Great location
We stayed with most our family staying and the rest visiting at different times. We all comfortably fit and we had all the amenities we needed to have a great stay. Location is great on the lake with easy access into town.

Great cabin getaway with friends
Beautiful area. Not directly on the water, but there's a road down to a dock you can access. You can see the lake from the deck, and there's a fire pit down by the dock. There is one bedroom/one bath downstairs, which isn't connected to the two bed/one bath upstairs, but it worked well. The fireplace inside was nice, and the owners next door were nice enough to let us use some of their wood for the fireplace. Lockbox for keys.

Great owners and convenient lake access
Owners were onsite and very hands-off. Great large yard and beautiful lake view. Lake access and dock is short walk but comfortable.
Road is close to home and can be noisy at times. Fast traffic occasionally.

Plenty of space to spread out for a couple families, nice grassy area on the lake with a firepit.
The cabin is not air conditioned and the upper unit gets very hot. Pack a couple fans so you can get some air moving in the bedrooms.

The Cedars in Sandpoint
The location was beautiful! Cabin was nice and on the surface it was clean, but could use a more thorough cleaning. The cookware was very old and the bake ware rusty. Needs a better stocked kitchen for longer stays when you’re doing a lot of cooking and using the oven. We had a great time and we’re pleased, just waned to offer some suggestions for improvement.

Hot! No air conditioning, no fans. Upstairs bedrooms like sleeping in an oven.
We loved the covered patio with view of the lake

Tired Property
Tired property. Needs some TLC. Two bedrooms next to a very busy street, on the loud side. Its a hike to the water from the property above.

Enjoyed Lake front views and access.
The place was really cozy and the views from the back porch were amazing. There was also plenty of room for everyone to sit inside and visit. We really enjoyed being on the lake and being able to hop into our boat to play on the lake during the day. I would not recommend leaving your boat tied up overnight as the lake can get unexpectedly rough. The good news is there is a boat launch about half a mile away and for $10 a night you can park your boat there. We had one maintenance issue and I was impressed with how quickly Vacasa responded and repaired the problem. We had a great time. I would stay here again.

Nice water view!
This was a very nice place to stay. It has a nice large living area and an equipped kitchen. We did not use the upstairs since it was just the two of us, but it looked like two nice bedrooms, a full bath, and a central place to hang out. It was great for the dogs because they could walk around outside. The water access requires walking down below the property, so there was no concern about them going into the water accidentally. There is parking, but if you have a crew cab, long box, truck like we do, it takes up most of the parking because it is too long to fit nose into the parking spaces. We ended up backing the pickup box in under the covered area.

Fantastic place
The house was clean and had a small stock of spices and basic cooking essentials. Access to the property is easy along the main Lakeshore road and the views of the lake and mountains are fantastic. Great place to stay!

Very disappointed
-Only one wall heater worked downstairs, meaning the inside never got warm. Had to buy firewood to keep from seeing our breath.
-No propane for grill. Had to run to the store to buy different foods for dinner... on Christmas...
-Deceptive pictures, it’s not waterfront or two levels. It’s two bedroom apartment on top of a 1 bed home. Connected by outside stairs. To get to water, you have to walk a road.
-Nice place but I think Vacasa is letting the owners down by deceptive listing and poor maintenance.

perfect getaway!
This house and the setting was so amazingly relaxing and beautiful! Super cozy cabin, perfect for a large group, easy short walk to the lake where there is a huge fire pit (we brought our own wood, there was some provided but green, didnt burn well) plenty of tables and chairs and log stools around the fire pit, nice grass area and dock with amazing view of lake. Parking was tricky as we had to pull in to the side of carport, too low from the front, other 2 vehicles parked on the side in guest parking and it worked out fine. Only complaint was not enough bed pillows for futon and pull out couch, glad we brought our own but still needed couple more. Overall, so peaceful, so relaxing, absolutely beautiful views from cabin and down at the dock, would definitely stay at this place again!

Perfect for what we were looking for!
Three families used the space for an annual trip. Enough separation in the bedrooms for the adults, communal area worked great with the kids. Beds were comfortable and the use of dock area was perfect for launching kayaks and swimming for kids. Friendly hosts, available as needed - will return.

Weekend/wedding stay
We stayed here to attend a wedding nearby. There were 5 of us. The chairs and dock by the water was a nice place to sit. There is a very nice porch to sit in to view the water too. It was very nice.
