Our son, his wife and 8 year old daughter loved being there. They witnessed sunrises and sunsets, walked on the beach, visited the coffee place and Smiley's. It was a perfect getaway for the whole family.

The location is fantastic, right on the lagoon with views of San Francisco. My family had a great time boogie boarding, and kayaking. We lucked out with perfect weather. Being able to walk to town was a real benefit. We definitely plan to go back.

The location of this property is one of a kind. Incredible views. Parking is hard but it is easy to walk everywhere so you don’t have to move your car once you get a good spot! I will definitely come here again!

Reviewer Comments:
Overall we had a lovely stay at the house with four adults and a toddler. The location is amazing, and we loved the water access from the dock. The kitchen was well stocked and everything we needed to cook family dinners. One thing that I wish had been called out in the property listing is the lack of an actual shower in the bathroom. It's tricky for elderly guests to climb in and out of the old bathtub and not everyone wants to take advantage of the outdoor shower(although the surfers in the group loved this feature but grandma, not so much.) This property would be a 10/10 by replacing the outdated bathtub in the only bathroom! All in all we'd stay there again.

We very much enjoyed our week at 105 Wharf Road, and were particularly impressed by the amazing views from the deck and every window. The house is uniquely situated at the point where the ocean meets the lagoon, affording a panorama, from sunrise to sunset, of various birds, seals, otters, surfers, fishing boats, and intrepid swimmers. The house was comfortable cozy and well-equipped.

105 Wharf was a gorgeous location and great fun to watch the tide, sea lions, and boats flow in and out with the tide. The house was well stocked a felt loved and lived in which was great. The beds were comfy and the water hot. My only suggestion would have been an umbrella for the deck. When the sun was out it was quite hot without shade.. a nice problem to have.

Sweet. Great location. Funky. Comfortable.Big problem was that we arrived and the place hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty beds, bathroom etc. ugh. First night wasn’t pleasant, they got a crew out in the morning and refunded us $500, but still, not good.

This home is perfect. Obviously the location is spectacular but also it was exceptionally clean and very well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. There was every kitchen gadget imaginable and it is full of beachy charm. We brought our two elderly dogs and they loved it there also.
We will absolutely be back.

This review is based solely on the house itself, as the property managers were very nice and helpful!
I understand for most travelers location is everything, and location for this would be 10/10, but the house itself really needs some work..
There are no screens on any window or sliding door, making it impossible to get a breeze through the house without letting in bugs/flies. I don't know if there is a reason for no screens ? , but super frustrating when the house got stuffy.
The TV room was advertised as being downstairs, but you literally have to leave the house, go outside down some stairs, and into this cold room. I can see it would be fun for kids, but if your taller that 5'0 you will be hunched down the entire time, unless sitting on the couch. The ceiling is super low I could not even stand. The only other TV was shoved into the smallest room with bunk beds. So not only no entertainment for the upstairs, you cannot supervise anything going on below in the TV room.
The only bathroom... needs some help. There's only one, and it only has a bathtub. There is a shower head, but you have to hold it yourself over you, and then set it down/pick up while you shampoo and rise. That was kinda frustrating again if your tall as the shower head lead line was not long at all..
PARKING!!! Was probably the most stressful thing ever. There is no driveway, and street parking only. This makes it literally impossible to leave and explore, as if you leave you will never find a spot to park again. The town is SO small that we drove for miles (not joking) without finding ONE spot to park. We ending up having to drive in circles until someone left a tiny spot we could squeeze into. Really sucks when you pay so much to rent this house, but can't even park anywhere.
Again, location is 10/10, the beach is literally in the front yard. It was so nice to be able to just go right outside to the water and then right back home. I think the cost is outrageous for the condition of the property, as well as the parking issue.
It's a amazing spot for someone who plans to park and ride a bike or something around their whole vacation.
The deck is beautiful to look out onto the ocean, and a ton of seals swimming around.
Like I said, the location is great, but the home itself is not worth the nightly rates AT ALL.

We spent 5 nights at 105 Wharf Road and were mesmerized by the view from the living room, bedroom, dining room and deck the whole time! There were sea lions and boats and millions of birds and surfers but we had total privacy.I'd love to go back some day.
