Stayed while on a trip to explore the Sequoia Forrest. The location was perfect. Nestled away from main roads you feel very secluded. Great place to unwind and enjoy nature. Lots of small wildlife so perfect for nature lovers. The cabin had everything we needed. Was exactly as pictured and very clean. Would definitely stay again.

We wanted a quiet weekend away from home and this was a great place for that.

Such a nice getaway. Way bigger in person than in pictures. Ladin was very responsive with any questions I had. Will definitely be returning.

This is a beautiful guest house tucked away along the South Fork of the Kaweah River. It's lovely hearing the river, which is just a short walk away. We had everything we needed for our few days visiting Sequoia National Park, with a comfortable bed, well-outfitted kitchen, and cushioned patio furniture to relax outside and listen to the river. The host was exceptionally responsive. Definitely recommend for a secluded, comfortable getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Space was clean in a beautiful area. Owner was super responsive & available whenever we had a question. Looking forward to staying there again.

Very beautiful property, if you open the windows you can here the river very near by. Me, my sons and dog had a great time. Plenty of room for 3 to 4 people with lots to do outdoors in the area. Doors are a little tricky at first but easy once you follow instructions exactly as stated. I hope to be back soon.

Our family of three + dog loved staying here for a few days. Property was beautiful and felt a world away, but was only a 10-minute drive from Three Rivers restaurants and grocery store. Spacious master bedroom, and the AC units kept us cool in the late summer heat. Easy access to Sequoia NP. We had fun exploring the grounds and walking down the road to see the horses at the neighboring property. The host was very responsive to inquiries. The only improvements we'd suggest would be to replace the standard toaster with a toaster oven, because with no oven or microwave there is no good way to reheat food. Also the bathroom could use additional shelves or hooks, very little space to put items.

This is a beautiful place. Very quiet, river flowing nearby. Few points, not a deal breaker though: no oven OR microwave. Ladan was very responsive to concerns we had.

Great get away…really enjoyed the space with our dogs. We finally got to see the Sequoia’s…absolutely AMAZING!!
Communication with the property manager was excellent, very responsive in a timely manner.
You won’t be disappointed, book your stay!

Overall a great house with great access to Sequoia National Park. The house was very nice, but needed some light bulbs replaced and the dish soap was out. Also there isn't an oven or microwave for meal planning purposes. Just a 2 burner stove and a grill. Great shower and comfortable bed! The grounds were a little run down. The outdoor furniture was covered and could tell hadn't been used in a while. When we took the covers off, mice had made a home there, so we couldn't sit on them. Just wanted to let others know. I would have wanted to know this before going. We had a great time and would definitely go again! Thank you.

It was the perfect size for my family of 4. It was nice and quiet. We had a good time and the river behind the house just hearing it alone was peaceful.

Love the property. Very clean, nice and cozy. The river in the back of the house was beautiful. The owner was very nice and helpful. Our family enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was perfect for what we wanted, which was a quiet place away from the city. We took walks with our dog in the mornings down to the river. The river creek was literally in their backyard! The nature setting was a beautiful site to see. The cottage inside was nice and cozy. The only drawback was the no oven or microwave, but it wasn't a biggie, we managed. The owner Lada was great at communicating and would check on us daily. Definitely going back on my next break.

We really loved our stay! The property is close to Sequoia National Park which was crucial for us. Located in the middle of the woods, allows you to truly rest, surrounded by sounds of nature.

My children and I had a challenging Summer. I booked this rental with the idea in mind that we would have a couple days of peace before everyone returned to school and this home certainly fit the bill.
Convenient access to everything, the home had everything we could need and the access to the water was incredible.
The children and I had fun trying to balance as we navigated our way across the stepping stones. Very relaxing. I left numerous items at the vacation rental AND lost the key to the house somehow and the owner was incredibly gracious, communicative and understanding... Thank you so very much. We hope to visit again someday.

This was just what we were looking for.
Something close to the national parks but yet a nice quiet place to stay.
Being right outside of the town of three rivers it is close to restaurants and the food store but is off the beaten path so is very quiet and private.
We had a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this home. The hosts were quick to respond and very accommodating. The home is very clean, nicely decorated, close to the very small village in 3 Rivers and to the entrance of the National Park (of course it’s a bit of a drive into the park from the entrance to see the main sighs). I would highly recommend this home

Fantastic Experience
Property is excellent. Our stay is very comfortable and the location is great with a little adventure. Host is very accommodating without being intrusive at all. I will not hesitate to recommend Moon River Cottage to family and friends. Overall experience is first rate!

Lovely
We had a great time at moon river cottage. About an hour drive to some of the main attractions in Sequoia (General Sherman, Big Trees Trail and Museum, Congress Trail), which we went to both days during our stay. Looked like there would be fun stuff to do in Three Rivers too. Overall a good experience and would recommend for a nice get a way.

Quiet Nature Retreat close to Sequoia entrance
We really enjoyed our stay at this guest house. It is in a very quiet area surrounded by nature and has access to the river. The guest house is equipped with all kitchen gadget including a set of spices, outdoor barbeque and seating area. The master bedroom in the first floor is very spacious and the loft has two queen beds, so it worked very well for our stay. The place is perfect for a family with kids or friends. The house was very clean and well maintained and Ladan is a great host who communicated very well and was very prompt when we had any questions. We had access to wi-fi, so I used my laptop for access to the internet. But none of our phones had receptions for making a phone call, either at the house, or when at Sequoia National park. We are looking forward to use this place again for our next adventures.
