Great location and views; spacious apartment, quiet and comfortable but showing some age, e.g. TV could be updated, but staff were very kind and helpful
5.0
Stunning spot on the lake. Comfortable room for an overnight stay. Many restaurants in walking distance.

The furniture looks old and a bit tired.. bathroom was in good condition. Plaster patches on the wall and holes in the wall. It was raining one day and there was no mat to wipe our shoes.. the staff were very polite and helpful.

Staff were friendly, view from living areas of accommodation was stunning , shower water pressure was good, fireplace works well, as well as air conditioner. Shower doors closed tightly.
Meanwhile the dishwasher was very smelly (greasy smell), as well as range hood. No action from property team following reported to reception so that we purchased a dishwasher cleaner (cost $10). We washed grease filters of range hood first, then cleaned dishwasher with purchased dishwasher cleaner.
Another interesting feature was that there was no door tag for Do Not Disturb.
Carpet also looked dated.

View was amazing, location so convenient & desk staff very helpful.

Well appointed, spacious apartments with stunning views and short walk to village centre. A definite win for short term visits to gorgeous Queenstown.

Very nice hotel, very spacious, comfortable, clean, nice lake view and good staff attitude. Will recommend.

Nice view .They haven’t spent much money on maintenance.

We had a fantastic stay at Peppers Beacon! It’s in a great location, we had a 2 bedroom lake view apartment which was very clean, modern, and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble! Highly recommend

They had construction on that they didn’t advise us of so got woken up at 7am most mornings because of the noise. The room wasn’t very clean, mold in shower, kettle and coffee machine, the toilet was also leaking which made quite a bit of noise. We booked mountain view room and had quite high expectations but the window wasn’t very big and the balcony wasn’t even big enough to fit two people comfortably. Parking also was expensive, and wasn’t exactly secure (garage didn’t get locked at night so anyone could walk in from off the street). Staff were friendly and location was good but not worth the money for the room we got.

Pulled the spare blankets from the closet and both were dirty, asked for a replacement. It was clearly visible they hadn’t been laundered in a bit. The front desk was quick to rectify with a clean blanket.

Great location across from the water, ice walk to the botanical gardens.

The breakfast was only average maybe have to get there very early

We were greeted by lovely staff who were very attentive.
A few suggestions;
Staff should be aware of guest movement to time it with room cleans:
A coffee pod machine with a milk frother is a must. Many don’t drink black coffee.
A decent sized TV is a basic luxury.
Breakfast should be available until 10.30. 9.30 finish is far too early for individuals on vacation.
A detailed information booklet is required rather than QR codes as internet access is poor.
Finally, allow plenty of room between couples and families with children when allocating rooms. Especially when you are not completely booked out as your walls are paper thin.
The extended checkout was greatly appreciated along with coffee at the front desk upon request.

Great location. Close to town. Room could do with some work. Noisy neighbours.

Major lift repairs changed the atmosphere a bit. Friendly staff who were attentive. Comfy bed and clean room. Would stay again.

Well situated place to stay near central Queenstown. The room has spectacular views of the lake. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area. Would give it a 5 but the bedroom lacked plug points and cupboard space was limited. Otherwise it was great place to stay.

Great location, easy walk into town/shops.

Disappointing with staff service.
Rooms were nice layout and clean.

Not like many other properties in the area,Peppers Beacon has the unique position to view the lake in front of it! Staff in front desk were very helpful. They are not only professional but also polite and patient! We were very happy when we stayed in Peppers!
2.0
An absolute disappointment for the enormous pricing per night in comparison to the facilities and cleanliness of the room. Curtains, blankets, carpets, and sofas were all dirty and stained. They all had terrible smell! No ventilation in the bathrooms. Unfortunately, we only paid for the view, nothing else! The accommodation was already so expensive, they couldn't provide parking? Peppers Queenstown has really put us off all Peppers!!

The room and view were excellent although we had to substitute the first night because of repairs. The elevators were under construction and finicky. Staff were excellent

View is stunning and room is cozy!

No bed making and towels change during the stay.
No one did not help us to bring our luggage to our room under the lifts were out of order!
View from the room was so beautiful and breakfast was good.

Location, location, location. Great to walk into town.
Wish the rooms had thicker walls, could hear the neighbours conversation.
Will be back for sure.

For a peppers it wasn’t in great condition. Mold in the shower and not enough towels for two guests. We had to call several times to get towels. Great views tho.
8.0
We loved the location and views. The size of the apartment was good.
The furniture was outdated. The carpet in the lounge was stained. There was no aircon in the main room or second bedroom. The single beds were very narrow for adult children. Parking was not included in booking but available for a fee. There was no housekeeping unless requested.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent 2 bedroom apartment overlooking the lake with a stunning view of the Remarkable’s.
The apartment was spacious and very well equipped.
Only downside was they charge for onsite parking which given the cost of the room felt a little greedy.

Great view of the lake and mountains from our studio room. Very comfortable stay with great facilities.
8.0
All great but adding a surcharge on any card used (visa debit or credit)for payments is a bit of a liberty.

Great location. Property itself is a little tired looking

The property is very run down. It is not worth it it charges for the accommodation. We booked two rooms for our family for 3 nights and paid over $2000. When we checked in, we got booking of one room in the front building and another room in the rear building and this room was at the worst possible location. This is terrible.
10.0
This was one of those rare times when we found the room to be better than the pictures on the internet. The room we had was spacious with exceptional views of the lake through the large windows and sliding doors. The room made our Queenstown experience that bit more special.

Amazing location
3.0
Really nice, big room and super comfortable bed. However room was let down by there being a connecting door to the next room which meant I could hear every single conversation and noise from the other room with perfect clarity - very annoying. The curtains did not keep all the light out either and there was no temperature control. TVs could do with being modernised. Good bathroom but shower did not drain properly and flooded bathroom floor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decent breakfast spread. After many weeks travelling appreciates the free laundry service. Great location on the lakefront with beautiful view.
