Really pleased with the accommodation- we booked a one bed apartment but were given a two bed

We had a great short stay at these apartments, staff friendly and rooms were a good size and clean. Would definitely stay again.

Never stayed here before but stayed a few other places in Costa Teguise and this is by far the best. Very good apartments modern, clean, comfortable everything you need. Staff very accommodating. Only things negative Outdoor pool cold (they all are though), and would have liked the soft play and trampoline park, bowling open earlier than 3.30/4pm. Other than that will be returning definitely. Location has all amenities you could need on road outside complex. Parks around 15-20 mins walk. Near beach, exercise equipment etc

After a good holiday last year, we rebooked a 2 bed apartment for September this year and asked for a pool view room, which ee were allocated. Our room had a small lounge/ kitchen area, 2 separate twin bedded rooms and a fantastic bathroom with walk-in shower. The location was excellent, literally steps away from the pool.We booked breakfast at a cost of €5 pp per day and added half board for 3 days, taking advantage of a special offer of half board for €12 per person. Breakfast consists of cereals, fruit, continental cheeses and meats, full cooked English breakfast options, along with a variety of breads, croissants and pastries, hot drinks and juices are also included. Dinner is buffet style, with salad, meat dishes, pasta and a couple of kids meal choices. On one of the nights, it was a tex mex buffet with tacos, fajitas, rice, chilli etc and this was probably the best meal we had there. The hotel has a daily happy hour 4-6pm and prices have not changed from last year so you can get 2 pints of Cruzcampo for €2, as well as wine, soft drinks and cocktails all 2 for the price of 1. Entertainment is generally in the form of a kids mini disco as well as variety acts and singers. The bar is open most nights until 11pm, or 12pm. The staff work tirelessly to keep public areas clean and maintained. The Santa Rosa is located around 15-20 mins from the resort centre, with a wide selection of bars/ eateries, with a few just outside the hotel. We would not hesitate to rebook!

Had a great time, facilities in apartment were basic but all worked fine, room cleaned regularly. Lots of restaurants nearby and a supermarket. They were doing outside works near the pool which could be a bit noisy but looks like they'll have a lovely pool bar at the end. Room was close to pool and park. Overall a great place!

Plenty of leisure activities available with indoor gym and heated swimming pool. Also outdoor courts for tennis. Pleasant 10 minute walk to center of resort along the seafront. There are two beaches. Rooms are spacious and facing the outdoor swimming pool. Around the pool there is a large green area and plenty of open space. There are bikes available for hire.

Lovely staff. Nice pool area. We really enjoyed the paella cooking demonstration. The bungalows were being pairing when we were there. At 8am we had a man on our roof scrapping old paint off, not very enjoyable.

Room pleasant, clean, need more cutlery for self catering, and a brolly for shade. On terrace. Staff very pleasant. The food a bit mundane could do with zesty get up a bit. Bad to have quit evening drink with family have Togo. Outside hotel. Entertainment should have its own area and not slotted into small unwelcoming Areas, the ent crew really hard working but their hands aretied

Fab stay. Room was spacious, the room was cleaned 5 days out of the 7 days, only complaint was there was no oven in the room but wasn't a major problem. Pool area very clean and plenty of sunbeds so no need to be up early to reserve. Pool bar was great, food & drink reasonably priced and a happy hour (2hours) every day. Plenty of things for the kids to do including water polo, volleyball, mini golf and tennis. Would definitely stay again.

Christmas break in the sun totally enjoyable and relaxing

Apartments were clean and basic, just what you need for a break in the sun, set in nice grounds. Facilities could be improved with more sunbeds.

We stayed here from end of June 2015 until early July. Overall, these apartments were good value with the complex having plenty of free facilities to use including mini golf, two pools, an indoor pool and gym, etc. Note however that the pools were saltwater which was a little off putting at times. The price of the food and drinks at the pool bars was very reasonable and decent quality. There is also a bowling alley on site as well as an excellent children's soft play area that was free to use.
The rooms themselves were pretty decent with a sofa and table, flat screen TV with English language programmes, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc. One thing the rooms do not have is air conditioning and our room felt very warm at night (although our relatives in another room thought their room was cool enough). You can open the windows in the bedroom to let more air in, or you can hire a fan for 15 euros for a week (20 for two weeks).

It was all fine aside from from one unpleasant experience relating to the swimming pool staff - in a nutshell I paid for my family to go into the indoor swimming pool, we got changed and a rather arrogant unfriendly swimming trainer poolside from the local swimming club informed me that the lane which should have been open was not open despite only 5 minutes earlier being sold a ticket. After some discourse between the trainer and the hotel staff, we were informed that the lane was closed as he'd put his swimmers in it despite being told it was open. I was left stood there feeling like a second class citizen with a very upset toddler. So yes, the customer is always right unless there is a conflict with a local. This was a big issue as the outdoor pools were too cold to be used during the winter months and the indoor pool was out of bounds from 1600 each day. The child pool also rented out to local groups for large tracts of the day too. Furthermore, the leisure centre which is advertised which includes the soft play area is rented as a centre for birthdays etc. and is overrun on the weekends by the locals.
The staff were otherwise friendly, the grounds well kept and the rooms kept clean enough and in keeping with a 3* hotel in the Spain.

Good service, nice outdoor pool area and room was acceptable, quite large with basic kitchen facilities, large bathroom, satellite tv available without extra cost and a nice large bedroom with balcony. Ask for a south facing upper floor room if you can, ours was north facing, view of the main road instead of the pool area and the room was cold at night having not been heated during the daytime (In January). 15 minute walk from reception and you're in the 'centre', or a €3 taxi. If you want to explore the island, it's a very convenient hotel!

Stayed for 10 days in July and was very happy with the Santa Rosa. Value for money and very comfortable Bungalow, we stayed in 1036 right near the pool and was spacious and kept clean daily, everything we wanted and we would defo go back again. This I would rate as a very good 3* place to stay and those with young kids would probably rate it higher, my 2 girls 20 & 16 both said they would love to back back there again 1 day, now that's a compliment in itself lol. All on all a very satisfying relaxing holiday and IMHO you get a little more than what you pay for BUT remember its not a 5* and you don't pay 5* prices so don't expect 5* holiday.Cleaned 8 days out of 10 with new sheets and towels and toilet rolls. Gardens and paths constantly worked on to keep clean and safe, clean salt water pool (chilly at times) but big and loads of sunbeds but many taken up by 8am most days.Thank you all at Santa Rosa and hopefully be back again soon..Paul & Family

Lovely pool area. Great for families with small children

Nice grounds and pool areas. Accomodation is spacious but very basic, no kettle, toaster etc and only 2 solid plates. Water for any tea or coffee had to be boiled in a saucepan. No form of heating if weather chilly except for those two cooker plates. Staff at reception very helpful. Would rate it no more than 2-3 star for the apartment.
