Very pleased with the apartment. Clean, comfortable and warm. There was a bit of noise from the apartment above and from the street, but not enough of an issue to affect our stay. Parking at the rear of the apartment was really useful and convenient.

Pros:
====
Location is solid.
It is within walking distance to Grocery stores ( "Kronan" is the closest, "Bonus" slightly further away).
Close to Rainbow Street, restaurants and shopping.
The apartment itself was clean and well kept.
There are some parking spots within the property at its back on a first come first serve basis.
There is a parking garage just few buildings away on the same street (Bergstaðastræti) on the same side of the street as the apartments.
Cons:
====
There is no elevator. Also, the staircase is "circular" similar setup to lighthouse stairs where one side is narrow and the other side of each stair is wider.
This makes hauling luggage problematic.
In the apartment that we were, there was no dishwasher.
There is a provision to store luggage in the basement, but anyone that can enter the building via keypad entry can also access the luggage store, so luggage security is not fool proof.
There is no washer dryer in the apartments themselves or in any common area of the property.
Tour operators will not pick up from this location, you will have to use Bus Stop #6 for pickup / drop-off.
General notes w.r.t. KEF Intl Airport transfer:
==================================
Either take bus (Greyline or Flybus by Reykjavik Excursions for ) which is also dropping/picking up at Bus Stop 6 for Reykjavik4you apartments. Or taking a cab ( Hreyfill or BSR Taxi etc) is also an option, but its not exactly cheap ( $150-ish minimum)

Great location! Huge and spacious. Parking was a little tricky but once you get the hang of it, it’s fine. Walkable to everything and extremely clean. Way exceeded my expectations!

Would be nice to have luggage racks to place suitcase on, instead of floor

Location was good
3.0
The property had an odor when we arrived. I would have liked to know that we would be on 4th floor with no elevator. It was difficult bringing luggage up and down.

Loved our stay.

Excellent option. Very good location
4.0
Safe location near activities. Could walk within 5 - 15 for most activities. Did not use kitchen, etc. so cannot comment. I will caution that there is no elevator so if you have issues with climbing stairs with luggage, book a low floor.

Everything else was great. The only thing was the smell in the building but besides that it was perfect.

Great property!

The management staff were excellent and helpful ! Thank you!!

It is the best apartment I’ve been living with, even higher quality than AirB’s. Walkable to everything downtown Reykjavík. Do note this is a self-serve property, no service no bell ball etc. Please bring yourself a door stopper for security as the entrance door does not have any extra lock.
2.5
Very nice apartment two bedrooms and a big living room. In the middle of Reykjavik directly on the Main Street.
Central for everything.

Clean place in a great central location. The manager is very friendly. Love that it has free parking.

It’s a very good location and also free parking and the room was well cleaned when we came in.

Clean, quiet, close to downtown

A very adequate apartment. Solid communication by manager. Could use a news channel on the TV and perhaps a movie channel.

Excellent location. Beautiful place.

Great location. Very helpful staff. Two bedroom was comfortable for 4 adults. Grocery around the corner. We had a car but walked to everything in the city. Free parking in the lot.

The flat was superbly located, extremely clean, comfortable, and convenient. Came with private parking which was great.

The location was excellent and very walkable to just about anything you could want. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Our only complaint, was the lack of a lift for getting luggage to and from the upper floors. Would we stay here again…absolutely, but we would pack much lighter!

The studio apartment is nice, the shower has very good water pressure, and it’s in a great location. The website needs to be updated because the grocery store listed is permanently closed. It would be helpful to replace what seem to be room darken shades with blackout shades. The room was not dark enough for the long summer sunlight, but we got used to it after the first night.

Great location, although when we booked it said it was a different address so that was confusing. There were two locations and we thought we were booking the other one. The location of both seemed great though. Laugavegur is a great street for walking, dining, and shopping. Close to the Rainbow street and Hallsgrimskirkja. The apartment itself was fine, but not amazing. We had 4 adults and 2 children. There was one pretty hard futon style couch and one fold out twin bed for the kids in the living room. A bit noisier on this street and a finicky blackout current made it not very kid friendly. There was one good size room with king bed and deck off the back. And a second small narrow room with two twin beds that were awkward to get in and out of because of the small space. No coffee provided. Overall, good location but would probably not stay here again unless they improved their amenities.

Right next to a bus stop where all tour transfers and pick ups happen, and it is on the “main” street where everything is.

Unit was large and clean. Furnishings are adequate, although one blackout shade broken in living room. Wifi worked well. But location was not as advertised. Address of location shown at booking was a kilometer closer to town center than the location actually provided. Still in a good location, but a much further walk from most sites than the location shown at booking. Harry's restaurant one first floor of building is excellent and good value.

Perfect location and nice apartment. Impeccable communication - we'd love to stay again on our next visit to Iceland

The apartment was perfect. Lots of space and super confortable. In walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and night life.
4.0
Great place to stay, easy to walk to from local attractions. The only thing that would be better would be to have a washing machine. We booked as it was an apartment and thought it would have a washing machine, our bad that we didn’t read this part. Would recommend to others.

Large 2 bedroom apartment with nice kitchen. Walk out onto busy street with lots of shopping and restaurants. Had to pay for parking in parking garage across the street.

Spacious, well located, kitchen well stocked
1.5
PROS:
- The email check in process was easy
- The apartment was very convenient to downtown
- There were only a few parking spots but we had no trouble with parking
CONS:
- Listing was for a 1 bedroom with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed, but the twin bed was a rollaway bed. Our 3rd adult had to sleep on an uncomfortable, stained rollaway bed. It wasn't made up and the sheets and pillowcase were dirty so it was an overall bad experience. No additional bedding was provided and we didn't have a washer to clean the bedding ourselves.
- A call to customer service offered no solutions other than to pay for a more expensive 2 bedroom in a different location.
- The apartment did not look like the photos. It was much smaller and less elegant. Included 1 couch and a worn down chase.
- The kitchen was very small and poorly stocked (there were minimal dishes so we had to clean them often but we were only provided 2 dish towels and no paper towels).

Outside looks unattractive like locals apartments

If you want to stay in the centre of tourist Reykjavik, you have chosen the right place. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and a fair price for the stay. Within walking distance is a Bonus supermarket for groceries, and a parking garage is opposite. Right on the main shopping street, it is within walking distance of the cathedral and other popular sights.
4.0
Plenty of room for four people although there is only one bathroom. Decent sized bedrooms,a good kitchen and a good sized living room.
Pay attention to the address of the building as Google will always bring you to only one of them. Put the actual address in vs. Reykjavik4You

Very close to everything and easy checkin and out

We had a very good stay. Mario the manager is friendly and helpful. Apartment is clean, beds comfortable and bathroom is good. Water leaks from under the shower doors; but this is a problem with this kind of doors and seen commonly in Europe. Location of the apartment is excellent.
