We arrived early due to our flight and the manager was kind enough to let us check in early. The staff was very attentive and happy going, making our stay a fun time. Special mentions: Felix and Aku. We especially enjoyed the reef walk, snorkeling and cocnut husking and basket weaving. Very personal attention from the staff toward the guests. The room was specious and comfortable. Would be happy to come back.

1.5 hrs drive away from anything to do - broken bed and blinds, minimal hot water; our stay in Denarau was the same price. Overpriced menu for small portions

Had a wonderful stay at Maui Palms. Very friendly people, informative and knowledgeable. Enjoyed snorkelling and one of the staff showed us lots of life on the reef. Room was comfortable and clean, only complaint was some mould in the bathroom. Highly recommended this hotel for future guests. Brought our own reef shoes and goggles, as an FYI.

A wonderful stay with a great team looking after us. Special thanks to Andi, Niti and Matei... apologies for the spelling! A beautiful stretch of coast with lots to see on the reef.

Very nice small property, beautiful beach front right on the reef, good snorkeling. Games like ping pong and pool table helped pass the time when the whether was bad outside.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Maui Palms resort. From the check in to check out everyone was very friendly, accommodating and personable. All the amenities are spectacular from the gorgeous pools to the beautiful villa surroundings which we were upgraded into for our anniversary. We are absolutely returning to this resort and strongly recommend a visit.

The staff were great. Management is poor. They only have 4 parking spots. In one spot the owner parks his car and the other the manager Neal. When we checked out, Neal didn't even ask us how i stay was or if we had any issues. The food quality was poor and wasn't worth the price. And no lights on walkways to your room. Beach was very dirty. Not good for swimming or snorkelling. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Gaps in rooms so bugs could get through. Also not good for air conditioning since windows didnt close properly.

My partner and I started here for three nights in January 2024. The staff were so incredibly welcoming! Our room was gorgeous, comfortable, and well equipped. Andi made our stay so smooth and trouble free - she and the whole team were lovely, friendly and helpful (we even got hugs goodbye from Titi!). Felix lead us on two amazing adventures - the reef walk in particular was incredible. We stayed at three different spots and this was by far the best - we left wishing we’d booked our whole vacation there! We highly recommend Maui Palms.

Small development, but nice spacious clean room tastefully decorated, access to the pool and the beach right out our door. Restaurant food was good, and staff was very accommodating for having dinner right at the beach or pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful, Joe was particularly great on service - led a very interesting reef walk, and also guided snorkel trip right off the beach. Good location to explore other parts of the Coral Coast from - went to the Sigatoka Sand Dunes Nat'l Park, Kula Eco Park, other nearby places. Great place to stay on the Coral Coast.

We have stayed at a lot of places along the Coral Coast and none of them can hold a candle to Maui Palms. At our previous hotel we had a terrible experience and left with a really bad taste un our mouths. The second we walked into reception and were greeted by Ben all those feelings disappeared. The staff are all amazing and make your stay as smooth as can be.Every meal we had was brilliant. On NYE requested a private romantic dinner (to get enganged) and even in continuous rain they put in hours of work and set up a gorgeous spot by the pool. Not to mention the best seafood platter I've had.The rooms and location are awesome too.Great touch was the owner taking pride and interacting with the guests. Made sure we got to see the school of small sharks which was an amazing experience.Would recommend Maui Palms to anyone.. and we have been raving about the place ever since we left. Thanks!

Can not speak more highly of the staff and management of Maui Palms. Outstanding customer service! Unfortunately i tested positive for Covid shortly after arriving and the team did everything to assist and accommodate us. It was one less thing to worry about, knowing they knew how to handle it. The food is outstanding. Every dish we tried was delicious and we knew the seafood was fresh! The location is great for beach walks, swimming and snorkeling. A great place for a relaxing holiday to unwind. We look forward to going back.

The Maui Palms resort and its staff are 5 star. My wife and I went to the Maui Palms resort in Fiji for our honeymoon and words can not describe how happy we both were with choosing to stay at this resort. We stayed in the honeymooners bungalow closest to the beach and had an amazing view of the ocean. The room was very comfortable and had plenty of room for two people with a huge bathtub. The furnishings were very elegant and functional. The resort grounds were meticulously taken care of and were stunning!! The resort provided kayaks, paddles boards and snorkeling equipment included in the stay. The staff at this resort took my wife and I out snorkeling multiple times (included in the hotel stay), showing us where the best spots were to snorkel. The staff; Joey, Mani, Ben, Tina, Elanor, Neel, Claudia and others I forgot there names (sorry) treated us with the upmost respect. They treated us as good friends and played pool with us in the bar area and chatted with us about our stay and where we were from. If and when I can afford to return it will be to this resort!!! We also met the owner and his wife, both very sweet people (chatted with the owner for a couple hours multiple times) and they really take care of their staff. Our car ended up with a flat and Mani (staff) let me know about it and offered to take care of it for me which was awesome cause the rental place charges much more than what he got a new tire for me for. Great Place to stay. Highly recommend staying here!!

The Maui Palms was the first stop on our Coral Coast Road Trip. We needed to unwind & we definitely came to the right place. We were greeted with a cold fruit juice while checking in with friendly smiling happy staff who already called us by name as we walked in. Highly recommend The Honeymoon Bure as it was absolutely stunning with Infinity pool & lagoon within steps & was very quiet & private. Snorkelling was great , The highlight of this visit were the crew. Fijians are known for their friendly nature but these people blow it way above that! So... Joe, Muni, Ben ,Neil, Larnie Christine & Wayne we thank you so much for your hospitality and an experience we wont forget.Bula Vinaka we will be back & have already got friends trying to book so look out for Jessie in December :) on his Honeymoon... Thanks Guys from Darryn & Ann :)

The view is magnificent. The resort is right on the beach and you can snorkel, swim, kayak and walk the lagoon / reef. They even supply the gear (free). The staff are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. There is an entertainment person who can tell you when the tide is right for your chosen activity or take you for a walk, or climb the tree for a coconut drink, etc. If there are enough guests interested they also do a LOVO night (the traditional in-ground cooking and karva ceremony). Recommend doing this if it is available. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. The meals were affordable, fresh, beautifully presented and very delicious. Not being a large resort, was in no way a disadvantage as we were able to relax, interact with staff and other guests whilst still maintaining privacy and peace and quiet. We stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed every moment.

Room was nice, we had one of two closest to the pool and beach. But staff kept walking through our patio and looking in. Bed was comfortable. Shower head was in the wrong place in the stall (and no door or curtain, which is fine) so water gets absolutely everywhere. Meals were adequate. Staff was very casual. The common TV lounge area smelled mouldy and the drawers in the tv cabinet were filled with junky and discards .. one wouldn't see it if one didn't look but it's symptomatic of a place that seems nice on the outside but not once you dig deeper. There's a store that is walkable but for all other restaurants you'll want a car.

Our first reaction was concern because it was low tide and the beach area didnt look that inviting....boy were we wrong. At low tide you can walk among through the water and feel like you are in an aquarium full of beautiful exotic fish. Go a bit further in or wait for high tide and swim in deeper pools of water. The staff here was wonderful! Daniel kept us entertained making hats, pinwheels, baskets, glasses and other things out of palm leaves or climbing coconut palms to get us fresh drinks. Hes also a great tour guide to local attractions like the waterfall or just to see the sharks or a beautiful view. The pool was perfect with its glistening palm tree motif on the bottom and changing colored lights at night. They also offer free kayaks and snorkeling gear for adventures in the ocean. The property is well maintained. Our only issue was the ongoing renovations which sometimes included chop saws and grinders. I would ask if the renovations are completed before booking. The work was not continuous, but it did disrupt your peace at some times. Both ocean front rooms were almost identical except that the honeymoon room had a larger bathtub. AC worked great and was definitely needed with the heat and humidity. The water pressure was also great...lots of hot water too! Beds were comfortable and the cleaning staff was awesome. Instant coffee only in the rooms which might not make you coffee drinkers happy. Only 2 restaurants within walking distance.

This is a unique property. When we booked 8 months ago, there were only 4 rooms listed. But, when we arrived they had expanded to 9 accomodations. The property is beautiful and well-maintained and the staff is attentive and very nice to guests. The villas (1-4) are comfortable and roomy, with a porch facing the ocean. The pool is new and very beautifully finished, and a great place to socialize and chill. This property does not have the space nor amenities of a large resort, but it makes up for it by the opportunity for intimacy (with the staff and other guests) and relative peace and quiet. There is a restaurant on-site away from the beach in the reception building and a grocery store 5 minutes away by walking.

This is right on the beach, and the place is clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly. We did think the food prices were somewhat high, and there aren't many nearby alternatives, so you should include this in your budget.
