Beautiful location. Rooms were as you would expect in an old property, quirky and full of character. Highly recommended.

Interesting character-full pub with original features yet updated modern facilities in the bathroom. Space in my room was very tight...for two people it would be challenging! Staircase is a spiral and steep....causes issues with carrying luggage! Food very good. Parking only on-street that would be challenging at busy times.

Fantastic experience here! The inn was cozy, the rooms are immaculate, the amenities were very appreciated. The pub downstairs had great food. We really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. We will definitely come back if we’re every in the area again

A brilliant old English inn. Great rooms. Great food. First rate service. Wonderful real beer!

Cute room, great food, great staff!!!!!

We booked this as a one-night last minute break and it was such a pleasant surprise! The food was excellent, Great Tew is an absolute delight - especially in early summer when all the flowers are out - and the staff were brilliant. It’s quite noisy both in terms of creaky floorboards (it’s just the age of the building- nothing to be done for that!) and the fact that the rooms are above the pub but that didn’t bother us one bit! Definitely recommend!

Staff very friendly and nice breakfast but unfortunately the en-suite was so small and restricted. I had to keep the door open for space to bend down and wash my face. The shower was not a power one and you could not control the temperature that was either cold or scorching hot. It’s a squeeze to sit on the toilet. I am a tall person but very slim so I wonder how a larger size person would cope.

The staff were extremely welcoming, and the room - though small - was really well appointed. We had a really good night’s sleep. The beer was excellent, and the food was very good. I would recommend staying here.

A fabulous place to stay, most obliging staff, excellent service and excellent food.

There was absolutely nothing i did not like about my stay. It was in a gorgeous little village where locals and tourists visit.
Everything was exactly what it said on the tin.
As a solo traveller felt very safe and welcomed especially Tom.
All staff were really friendly and that goes a long way with me.

The hotel is a classic old building, full of character but with all the attendant accessibility issues that could affect some guests. The bathrooms are very small and we seldom had hot water before 8am. On the positive side, the staff were fantastic and the food excellent. And what a beautiful location. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit

The Falkland Arms is a gorgeous little pub in a beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had breakfast and dinner here and it was really good. This is a great place to stay for a Cotswolds getaway with lovely walks. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Check in was so easy. The pub is a centuries old building and has all the charm that anyone could expect from such a place. The staff were all excellent, the room very cleverly modern fitted in an old building.
Loved everything about the place. Food and drink were all excellent and nothing too much for the staff. Really enjoyed our stay and made our Anniversary very memorable for all the right reasons.
Will be back in the cooler months to experience the roaring fire and roast dinners!!

The Falkland Arms is a beautiful building in a lovely setting. The village of Great Tew is quiet and charming. The pub has a good mix of local people and visitors.
We were delighted with the lovely room, friendly staff and extremely good food. The breakfast was really excellent and although the bar menu is brief, we saw this as a good sign. We ate in the pub on both evenings and had plenty of choice.
We would like to mention the landlord/manager who is friendly but also clearly gives a lot of leadership to the staff team. Really good to see a pub run with professionalism and warmth.

First time visit for food and stay. Will not be our last. Great food including breakfast. Very friendly staff.

Lovely property with great food and in a fabulous location - will be back x

Such a wonderful property, great service, and food. The place is from the 1600s, so expect creaky floors and low doors, but it all adds to the amazing charm and perfect setting.
4.4
Our room was nice enough but the window would not close as the latch was rusty and broke. The room therefore was freezing and the hotel said they were full so couldn’t help us.
No offer of a refund, or of any solution at all. They should not be offering out a room when it is not in appropriate condition. The staff did not seem bothered at all and very unhelpful.

We stayed at the Falkland Arms to enable us to explore the Cotswolds and visit Blenheim Palace. We had an amazing time. Were well looked after by the staff. Accommodation very cotswold chic, comfortable and clean. Food excellent. Competitively priced given this unique hostelry and its setting.

Very traditional English pub stay….stairs were a problem with lots of luggage & bathroom was tiny!

Great buzz great place very county-cosy…just what we were looking for.

Lovely location and beautiful old property. Because of the age of the property there is no air conditioning which can mean the bedroom can get quite warm, plenty of windows to throw open if it does. The breakfast choice was good and it was delicious, we didn’t get to eat in any other time but judging by the number of customers it was probably as good. Very convenient for events at Soho Farmhouse, without having to pay their inflated prices! Recommended

Lovely pub, added bonus as a coeliac a gluten free menu if offered and the business is verified by coeliac society. Cold/tepid shower was disappointing. Breakfast was lovely although considering the extensive gluten free is offered in the pub it would be great if gluten free sausages could be as standard at breakfast so that everyone can enjoy the fab full english!
Overall a lovely stay however for the price would expect a hot shower and working wifi.

This is a charming property located in an idyllic Costwold village. It is immaculately clean and the bed, though only 4 foot 6 wide, was very comfortable. We were more than a little surprised that rooms 1 to 5 are accessed via a steep and narrow spiral staircase and that room 6, where we stayed is accessed via an even steeper and narrower, Harry Potter style one. Lots of low beams and low doorways throughout so anyone over 5 foot 8 will need to beware. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh coffee, good quality croissants, butter and preserves and a full English was well done. Covid precautions were observed throughout.

Great place to stay for visiting the Cotswolds. Lovely room and good food at a very reasonable price. Dog-friendly too!

Typical English village Pub with rooms. Excellent service and great food. Some renovation underway during our stay, ( gents toilet). Seating in bar could be more comfortable could possibly be my only criticism.

Great service, great food

Great location, great food. Really nice rooms and I will definitely be back. The only let down was the extremely cheap toilet paper!! Come on guys it’s not cheap to stay you could invest an extra £1 when you go to Tesco.
