We were really pleased with our one-night stay here. Check-in was smooth, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and immaculate. All the fixtures (faucets, shower, etc) were sturdy and worked just as they should, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was noise- proof, and the hallways were also very quiet. Breakfast was much better than other places we’ve stayed in the area, with many food choices (omelets, oatmeal, fresh fruit, juice, etc) all served in a pleasant and comfortable dining area. The entire hotel was very clean, and every staff person with whom we interacted was courteous, efficient, helpful and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again!

This is the 3rd time staying at this hotel. It's one of the nicest Holiday Inn Express. Some franchise location can be not as nicely maintained but this one never disappoint me. Couldve been 5 stars if the front desk was more professional & friendlier. Will stay again.

Went down for a Lions game. Everything was great with one exception- checkmin time was.3:00 but several rooms weren't ready until 3:30ish. Not a big deal but could have been.

The room didn’t seem very clean. Carpets were dirty, crushed blueberries in the air conditioner, mold in the bathroom. Beds were comfy, parking and check in were super easy. Breakfast was wonderful.

Needed a place that was close to Detroit that wasn't going to break the bank. This was a nice hotel that was close to many different sites. Basic hotel, clean, quiet, with free breakfast, free parking and a pool.

This was my second stay at this location. About a year ago we enjoyed our stay, hence booking a second time. This time we were disappointed. The lighting situation was inconvenient and puzzling. The lights around the vanity mirror and overhead in bathroom were not all working. Therefore it was dim/dark in the bathroom. The two bedside light lamp shades were completely missing, offering bare light bulb lighting in the room. I informed the front desk and they said they would address it, but nothing was done. The free breakfast was bad. Watery coffee. Lots of breads, sausage gravy (mostly gravy), liquid egg omelettes with barely any fillings, poor quality sausage patties, and a variety of individually boxed items. Boring, bland, blah! Obviously Holiday Inn Express is spending the bare minimum to offer what they call a free breakfast. We checked out wanting real food. The salad I ended up getting at the truck stop on the road was much better. And so were the coffee options!

The location and the staff were great, which is why I stay there each time I visit the area. The cleanliness of the rooms is a concern. The carpet in my room had big stains. The shade over the window was very stained. On more than one occasion the chase lounge in the rooms were so stained, I requested a sheet to put over the lounge before I would put any items on it. They need to improve the cleanliness in the rooms.

Hotel itself seems okay. Staff not helpful. Needed the pullout bed. Asked for extra pillows for the pullout and was told we had plenty of pillows. Told them I still wanted a couple more and was told they didn't have any that they were booked. Parking lot was in no way even full so doubt that. Was then told they had 28 pillows stolen. Stayed at Holiday Inn the night before in Allen Park, MI and they provided pillows for the pullout that were already in the closet with the sheets. Contacted Hotels.com and told someone would resolve the issue in some way and get back the next day. Nothing ever happened. Would not stay here again if traveling with 5.

I feel that this property ripped me off. I needed to change my booking after the cancellation deadline. The hotel kept my payment and did not allow me to rebook. I will make every effort to avoid this group of hotels in the future
