Based in Centro Havana, the place allows for one to be part of the community.and experience the laidback culture. The home has a rooftop which is spacious, I enjoyed watching the sunset later in the day, one can enjoy a drink too and enjoy the view of the surrounding community. It is a blessing on very hot days! My room was satisfactory with a built-in air conditioner. My favourite aspect of my room was my bed, I at times contemplated waking up😅. Lovely and friendly staff. Overall I would return.

Clean and renewed room.super friendly owner,downtown,have Wi-Fi

The check-in experience is terrible, the corridor is very narrow, and a bottle of mineral water costs 100 US dollars

Excellent room, very clean, close to the center. For me, Cuba was one of the most beautiful experiences. It was made even more beautiful by my acquaintance with Elaine. Very helpful, warm person, she helped us a lot!
Gracias por todo :)

The best place we could have possibly stayed. It immediately felt like a little home. Our host gave us advice on us travel to and from all of the places we wanted to visit. She was sweet and just a phone call away every time we needed a little help. We had so many conversations with her where she taught us about the country and culture.
The neighborhood is calm but a little loud with music and cars passing by and locals living just next door but that makes it beautiful—we really enjoyed it. Just a short walk away from some great food. The best part is that it isn’t close to any hotels so, unlike other places, there aren’t people waiting outside to try to sell you a tour or cigars.
This will be our go-to place on our next visit. I couldn’t recommend it more for a fantastic Havana experience.

The proprietor made us feel welcome and we found them very accomodating. The position of the accommodation provided us with a great experience of mixing with locals who were very friendly.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and suitable for our needs at a very cheap price.

The owners and staff were very gracious and all my needs were met. They were certain that I was satisfied and comfortable. The beds were not great but sufficed for my short stay (3 nights). The breakfast prepared fresh every morning was delicious, and they always made my pm coffee with cheer. I am very thankful for finding such a "warm" and caring place to stay in such an unfamiliar place.

The owner tried to fleece me on a few things. He tried to sell me a trip at a far inflated price. Then he got me a very cheap cab to airport again at a far inflated price. The breakfast sold to me was very unhygienic with ants crawling left, right and center.

The owner, Orlando, was nice enough but overeager to set you up with his 'friend' network around town and across Cuba. We hadn't even checked in and he was going on and on about friends who can take us here, friends we can stay with there, etc. He was pushy and gave inaccurate, misleading advice about transportation, local restaurants, and other cities Trinidad and Varadero. Don't let him talk you out of taking viazul bus. He said it would take 3 hrs to Varadero; we took it on the way back to Havana and it took all of 2hr, cost 60% less, & was much more comfortable than colectivo transp. Unless you prefer to inhale exhaust for 3 hours squished 3 adults to a backseat in a Russian Lada and forced to pay 20CUC more than you were quoted. We were equally unimpressed with his guesthouse connect in Trinidad who tried to charge us for water that we brought with us in our suitcases.
Room was very clean, came with soap and toilet paper, no towels so make sure to bring your own. They probably charge. Mattress and pillows were below average to comparable guesthouses in other countries but on par with what Cuba seems to offer. AC worked well. A very narrow hallway may be an issue for some.
The standard 5 CUC breakfast was decent- coffee (okay), milk, fresh blended juice, fruit cup, fried egg, and melted cheese on toast.
Location was not close enough to interesting sights. There were some comparably priced guesthouses in Old Havana I wish I would have booked with.

The positive: - What I like about the property was the location which you can walk nicely within 10 minutes north towards Malecon. - The manager was very friendly and she was very accommodating- inside was very clean.- Nice hot shower and clean beddings. The negative:- The room that we stayed in was very small and the 2 single beds were positioned with our head board next to the AC unit. And it was noisy.- The TV was mounted on the side wall so you need to watch it lying on your side. There is no chair in the room. Well it didn't matter to us anyway since there were no channels to watch.- If you are a tall person, you will have a hard time sitting on the toilet since there is wall that separates only about 8 inches from the toilet.I would not recommend to walk south on San Martin towards Parque Central because the street is narrow and filthy with trash and dog poop. Best to take a 3 wheel taxi. Also the address is somewhat confusing for some taxi drivers - as there is another street name that is called Jose San Martin.

Room too small, not more than 100 sq ft
No table, no chair only one small bed
We stayed 3 nights, only have 2 days cleaning, very dirty.
Although it's on 1st floor, the staircase very narrow and straight, no good for senior.

A lovely place to stay at, the owners are very friendly and willing to help and make you feel at home. They helped me with my transport to Viñales and organized a private salsa lesson for me in the living room. The room was spacious and very clean. Would definitely go back!

I was very well attended to at the hotel. Bring your spirit of adventure. Much to do and learn.

Other than minor shower issues and narrow hallways it was a very enjoyable stay. Excellent breakfast and great service an excellent choice for the travellers on a budget.

The property is owned by a couple. The wife was super friendly but the guy seems more out of touch with guests. The room is very basic, and it is a bit of a walk from the center of the city. There is no WiFi and water pressure is lacking. Overall it is a good place to stay for a night.
