Had a lovely stay in Casa Randy. The rooms are very big and clean with good air conditioning.
Fanny, Randy and Cristina are very accommodating and friendly. They were in touch as soon as we booked to offer assistance and provide tips for travelling in Cuba. Breakfast was always a good amount of food and freshly made.
Fanny gave us some incredibly helpful advice on day 1 that saved us a couple of times on our stay in Cuba. She was very happy, uplifting and always on hand to assist us.
The location is excellent. You are not far from Havana Vieja or a daily free walking tour in parc central.
We enjoyed having interesting chats with her and feel like we have made a friends. If we are back in Havana one day we will definitely come back.

Friendly owners, very clean, authentic breakfast, near the centre and help and information from the owner was very helpful.
Heat but that has nothing to do with accommodation

I loved staying with Fanny and her husband and mother - they were the perfect hosts and my stay in Havana wouldn’t have been as good without them. They gave me invaluable information about Cuba which helped me to make the most of my stay, and they are lovely people.
My room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the location was just a short walk from the Capitol building and the atmospheric old town.
I would highly this place to anyone wishing to experience authentic Cuban hospitality!

Absolutely loved this place. The location is great and you are in walking distance to the main attractions. The room also has everything you need, even a little balcony and additionally they have a lovely terrace, which is also where you will enjoy the breakfast, which I would recommend you to book as well. The best part of the stay though was the family. They really care about their guests. Already before my arrival, they always responded to all of my questions in time (which has not been the case for other places I had booked) and helped me organize my trip. They reserved a cab for me to pick me up at the airport and when there was a delay with my arrival they called the cab driver to make sure everything was ok, as they got worried about me. Particularly as I was traveling alone, I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciated how they took care of me during my stay and made me feel at home in such a short time

We stayed at the beginning and at the end of our cuba holiday in Casa Randy and loved it! Our hosts were really amazing - super friendly, funny, they helped us with a lot of stuff and also organised a lot for us, for example taxis or accomodations in other destinations. The breakfast at the great terrace was delicious, our room was big and cool. Absolutely recommended!

Where do I begin…. I will start by saying, I can’t wait to come back and this time with my family! It’s a perfect location and walking distance to EVERYTHING in old Habana. I will say that if you are not prepared for noise from the outside, this may not be a good location for you unless you bring ear plugs as it’s in the city. Fanny and the family will provide you with tips to exploring Habana. This was my first time staying at a casa particular and feel that it’s way better than a hotel experience. It also provides you with a means to support the Cuban people. The shower water was hot and the pressure was great, the bed was comfy and the open area upstairs was my favorite place to read and tan. I went solo and felt very comfortable navigating in the day and night in the area. There was never a moment that I didn’t feel safe. With that being said, you’re still in a city so keep your wits about you as you would in any city. Go, stay and ENJOY!!!!

Casa Randy is a good place to walk around the main touristic areas of Havana. 5minutes to the main square surrounded by big hotels where you can buy a wifi card and a bus ticket to the other cities. The host Fanny was really nice and kind. She tried to keep the casa clean and gave me detailed information about restaurants, entertainments and transportations to other cities. As the casa is located in a central area, which means there are lots of people walking around even late in the evening, you will feel safe when you come back to the casa from clubs and bars. Also you'll be satisfied with breakfast : bread, fresh fruits, coffee, fruit juice and an egg.
It was an unforgettable experience to stay in a Cuban home and receive a special welcome.

We were treated like family, got great advice as to when and where to go as if we were part of their family. Had a great connection with them and their family. Would not hesitate staying at their house. It is not, by any means, a high class hotel with all the bells and whistle but for staying the nights and making it our base it works like a charm.
