Room has a fridge, kettle and microwave. Not all house shares give these things. Accommodation was generally quiet.
Other guests very messy and unhygienic. Do not understand how to use a toilet, just urinate on and around the toilet. Cigarette smoke on the floor of the toilet, and judging by the location they were smoking while sitting on the toilet. Someone was randomly leaving shower running for hours. Happened 3 times. Not flushing toilet. Not cleaning toilet. One morning I went to the bathroom to find some guy with his huge foot stuck in the little sink where all guests are supposed to brush their teeth, when the showers are LITERALLY 1 meter away! Flooding the whole corridor in the process. Sink in room would have been very welcome. Kitchen was generally clean, but someone was clearly not cleaning after themselves. The location is bad, even by the standards of this city. You often can't open the windows because the smell of cannabis is so strong outside. Large piles of garbage in the streets. Drug dealers, addicts and unemployed everywhere, gathering in crowds during the day. The local supermarket Aldi was the worst one I have ever seen in the UK... customers trashed the place, and literally prostitutes standing outside.

The room and common areas are very clean. Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There is washing machine and all necessary equipment to dry and iron your clothes. My room was big, had double-sized bed, microwave, fridge and electric kettle. Bed was pretty comfortable. TV worked and had lots of channels. In case of questions there is always help from landlord side. My contact person was Shah-he responds immediately on queries through WA chat or booking chat. There is a bus going to the city center -no 52, bus stop is 5 minutes from house.
My room did not have any wardrobe/place to hang clothes. One shower did not have also place to hang your stuff. The room could have desk with chair but ofc it is not obligatory.
The area where house is situated could be scary after dark, but personally I did not have any problems.

The room and facilities were great, the room had a microwave, fridge and kettle. Bed was comfortable.
Landlady was very helpful and communication was great.
The area is rough and intimidating.
Upon entry it was dark outside and I found it very difficult to locate a light switch that was connected to a light, probably be an improvement on the building had automatic motion lighting.

Clean, warm and comfortable. An excellent base for visiting Birmingham. Communal areas impeccably clean and not overcrowded. The house has a beautiful garden for guests to enjoy, which was a welcome surprise. I would definitely use this property again.

I really like the house as it is really clean and equipped. There is small kitchenette inside every rooms the one I was in it has a kettle with a table microwave fridge and freezer also mugs and plates essential for breakfast. Also there is a big kitchen separate to share with all tools and double cooker. Multiple shower rooms and bathroom and two toilets. The house is very organised clean as there is cleaner coming every day. Excellent hospitality and comfort. I rate the house at 100/100.
