That was just fine. Freshly cooked. Would have liked some yogurts and fruit.
Parking is a small problem.

Nothing. It was quite possibly the worst nights sleep I have ever had. Music was booming through the ceiling until 1am and the floor was vibrating. Our family got no sleep all night, the night before a special birthday which ruined the entire next day.
The beds had dirt under the blankets, the mattresses were a bit lumpy and uncomfortable, the breakfast was underwhelming and a severe lack of food and staff. We were not given any warning about the huge rave like party downstairs when we booked except from the fact that we had earbuds in our coffee mugs…

Comfort, great price , amazing breakfast

I liked that it was in town. Staff were friendly. And the locals. Bedroom was clean and also clean bathroom.ideal providing ear plugs definitely needed but stqy in a pub you know it will be noisy. Breakfast was really nice and very well laid out.
Really do need thicker curtains as they really didn't provide any darkness when sun rose in the morning. Hot water didn't seem to be too warm either
3.7
Spacious clean room, easy nearby parking, excellent gluten-free options for evening meal and breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, and gluten-free draught beer too
3.7
Room clean and comfy.
Friday disco,Saturday night band . could NOT put ear plugs in because I needed to hear my alarm in the morning. Breakfast was lukewarm. For the price I expected proper coffee not instant. I expected my eggs to be cooked with a soft yolk, not left in the pan to go hard. Will NOT BE GOING BACK.

Missed it, but had it before and it was fantastic
Hot water takes a little while. But understandably happens in a large place
3.7
The accommodation was good, but one of the rooms were not readied and the washroom had cleaning liquid in the WC and shower area.
Our night stay was very noisy due to the disco operating till 1am. It would have been good to have been informed of this in advance
3.7
A lovely town pub with rooms
We are actually social butterflies but after a busy day and karaoke in the bar which was fine but the music went on after that. We were not directly over the bar so it was muffled music
3.7
Location ok but no parking
No parking very noisy Friday evening. Disco on until 1.00

Help yourself.
The cold plates after telling the chef they were warm next morning
The toaster took so long to do the toast, they really need a new one
The cereals were not good quality, and the hoops was nearly empty both mornings,

Breakfast
Location and lack of car parking facilities. Had to leave property by8 am or risk getting a parking ticket even though my car was parked in a parking spot outside the hotel.

We liked so much about our stay. It was great value, the room and guest areas were very pleasant and clean, and the bar/restaurant were tastefully decorated.
The food menu was extensive and breakfast was delicious.
The traffic noise in the square, although appreciated that ear plugs are provided.
The genre of music in the bar was at odds with the styling of the place and played too loud.. Would have been fine if quieter. This was midweek, not the Friday/Saturday night when they advertise loud music.
3.7
Big, comfortable bed, everything very clean, bath in the en suite. Breakfast was really good.
Thin walls and floors so quite noisy, though ear plugs are supplied. WiFi want working and the staff didn't know how to fix it, phone signal practically non existent.
3.7
Food basically ok but the lamps over the breakfast items did not keep the food warm !!
The rather cool breakfasts.

Breakfast is fine … the staff are all very nice and helpful… the gent ( sorry never got his name ) was very helpful every morning
We arrived and our rooms were given out to someone else
Catharine and Megan were very helpful to sort out other rooms.
We are still to revive the monetary difference between these rooms … how we arrange this??
I had asked for a room on the lower floor as my friend has mobility issues.. he was allocated room 11 on the 2nd floor,
very help to change him to room 5 which was much better for him
You only provide fried eggs at breakfast… you should be able to provide poached / boiled / scrambled if requested
Disco… Friday and Saturday night… there should be something on your website that lets people know what to expect if staying over the weekend … not fair … as the noise is very loud

The breakfast choices were superb from fruit juices, cereals, full english, toast etc. Unlimited amounts and of tea and coffee. Gluten free options available too. Our Room was very spacious and exceptionally clean.
Nothing

Quirky... historic building... Irish folk band rehearsing was great entertainment.
Good portions of food.
Really pleasant staff and a friendly atmosphere.
No decaffeinated coffee in room
Coffee at breakfast was instant

The property was very clean & staff were very friendly & helpful
The live band playing music until 11.45pm on Saturday night. Booking.com stated live music, which I assumed was occasionally not every Saturday
3.7
The room was excellent and the staff helpful, especially with our disabilities. The dinner menu was good and the restaurant service very friendly.
The hotel used to have parking at the rear accessed by a covered way. This is now used for outdoor food/drink customers. As a result clients have to use a pay and display cat park a short walk away. So care is needed to ensure parking payments are made correctly.
The breakfast was copious and good except the only coffee provided was instant powder.

Proper inn hotel in great location. Staff very helpful. Enjoyable stay.

Great atmosphere in bar.. perfect location & lovrly big room..
The price was steep…. However worth it
3.7
Easy to find in centre
Needs a filter curtain on windows facing the square
3.7
Friendly enough staff and easy process. Good location not far from the beach and arranged last minute so overall happy. Plenty of little shops and businesses around also.
Nothing worth noting.
3.7
Room was spacious and airy. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean
The ear plugs on the table were a bit of a give away! We stayed on a Saturday night and there was live music on. The revellers didn't stop making a noise until 1am and the cars started driving past outside from 7.30am onwards. Thankfully we were at a party until late and didn't get back to our room until 00.45, so the noise didn't cause us much of an issue

Rooms were nice and comfortable..
Nice atmosphere..
Breakfast was a little disappointing
And strong smell of bleach

Easy check in. Helpful staff. Clean room with plenty of tea and coffee. Cheap parking very close. Breakfast available from 7-10. Located I centre of Fakenham.
A bit pricey compared to similar venues we've stopped at. Fakenham wasn't as pleasant as we expected, but that's not at all down to The Crown.

Newly renewed rooms.
