This property is just a couple doorways down from the corner of the main part of historical downtown Cusco. Everything is within walkable distances. Nice/ neat building- simple. Was not able to enjoy breakfast because most "tours" have pick up times before breakfast starts- so request a "to go" option if this applies to you. Please note- there is no elevator. This was no issue for me and my daughter- but please know that it is not ADA accessible from what I saw. Honestly most buildings in this area are not. Overall I would totally stay there again. It is nice, fresh, decent amount of space, Engrish speaking staff and GREAT value regarding price.

If you want to sleep, don't book here. Very loud hotel all night. Building is very old and no elevator

All the services were good. Especially the servers, Margot and Jaclyn at the breakfast service were kind and friendly. The person who cleaned our room was also efficient and friendly. The location was perfect and safe. It was convenient because there were lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and museums were near the hotel. You can walk around the city.

Close to the main square. BUT, there is NO ELEVATOR! And the 3rd floor is loud between 6-7 because that’s where the cleaning crew does their prep for their days work.

I had a family visit for a few hours. Front desk person called me at 5AM to tell me the relative had to leave. She called the room phone and it disrupted my sleep.

Our stay as Casa Andina Standard Cusco Catedral was great. Based on the price point, the hotel delivered everything expected. The staff were incredible and met every request. We were able to leave our larger luggage while we traveled to Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu, and they even had our bags in our rooms when we returned to check back in for a few more days in Cusco.

Great place with friendly staff, room was clean. Only thing is that noise still came in from the outside at times

I stayed two times at this location. First time, I was given the 2nd floor and the room location made it difficult to sleep because the lights from the hallways were always on, thankfully I had an eye mask I was able to sleep.
The second time, I got the 3rd floor and that room was so much better. I was able to sleep comfortably.
Overall, great location and very helpful staff 🤗

Awesome front desk service…very helpful from good recommendation for a haircut place to getting a taxi. Everything was amazing including location. It’s too bad there are no elevators, which is helpful during the first couple of days in Cuzco.

We liked the breakfast. We did not like the fact that the bathroom did not have ventilation and the low lighting in the room

The hotel is great. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. It has perfect location close to all what you need in the historical center of Cusco. However, expedia advertised and sold us this specific hotel (Casa Andina Standard Cathedral) and the hotel was locked (no longer in service) when our taxi brought us to it. The driver was kind enough to make a few phone calls and brought us to their other property (Casa Andina Standard) a few blocks away where we were checked in. Expedia failed to keep the database up to date and sold us no longer existing property.

The hotel is fairly new and clean. The windows of my room look to the inside of the hotel so no chance of privacy and a view. There is only a tiny patio.

We were not able to stay there after doing a reservation 4 months in advance and having a confirmation. We also got an e-mail 3 days before checking in following up on our stay. Message that we answer and let them know we were on our way. Very very dissapointed with the hotel. We were moved to another hotel but we wanted the location so much.

The service and management were top notch. I’ve never stayed at a hotel with such friendly staff. They had an issue with our booking, so they sent us to their premium branch down the road at no additional cost to us. The premium hotel was SO nice. Then after our trek we went back to the standard and they gave us their best room just for being flexible.

Staff at the front desk were super friendly and very helpful. Very warm people. Location was very central with much to do within walking distance and cheap taxi fare everywhere else. Would definitely stay again. Consistent wifi and hot water,

We checked into this hotel twice as we went to Machu Picchu for one night in between. Our first three nights were spent in a triple bed room on the ground floor. There was no window to the outside, the room had no ventilation or air conditioning, only two very noisy ceiling fans to circulate the air. The room was like a prison cell. The bathroom also had no window. There was no vanity or adequate shelving in the bathroom. We put a chair in there so we had somewhere to place our toiletries.
The airless room exacerbated our altitude sickness, we woke each morning with terrible headaches which would ease once we were outside the room.
The hotel staff were very courteous and spoke adequate English – particularly Alfredo who was always helpful.
The hotel stored our suitcases whilst we went to Machu Picchu overnight.
Upon return we requested a room with a with a window which the hotel were happy to accommodate.
They gave us a triple bed room on level 2 with a small balcony. The room was bigger than the first room and the air so much better. The quality of our sleep improved 100 per cent. The bathroom however, was still inadequate with no vanity space for toiletries.
Breakfast at the hotel was adequate but certainly nothing flash with the scrambled eggs being runny and the juices nothing more than cordial .
The location of the hotel is excellent – just several steps from Plaza de Armas.

Excellent location, there are multiple "Casa Andina" hotels - this one is at the "medium" end and very clean and all amenities are close by. Staff is very friendly and polite and helpful (Christian in particular was awesome!) Breakfast was just about OK .. enuf to get you going.

This hotel is located adjacent to Plaza de Armas - in such close proximity (easy walking) to lots of great shops, restaurants and bars. The staff is friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is bland western food, and they don't even have any salsa to spice it up a bit. No attempt at all to serve any Peruvian dishes, but there are so many other places close by.
