About this house rental
Modern luxury with classic Fredricksburg charm just blocks from Main Street.
Have fun with friends and family in this stylist space.
The beauty of this home’s appeal is the way it effortlessly blends modern, sleek decor with warm and chic farmhouse style. In the main living area, a tufted leather sectional sofa is piled high with plush throw pillows. The large HDTV is mounted over a mid-century modern console table, while a whimsical cow-print throw rug reminds you that you’re in the heart of Texas Hill Country.
In the crisp, white kitchen, a huge island with a waterfall edge houses the range and is illuminated by gorgeous glass pendants and a state-of-the-art vent hood. Additional appliances include a stainless refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee station. The convenient laundry room sits just off the kitchen. There’s also tons of seating for everyone— including three leather stools at the island and a built-in banquette dining table. Sun-kissed windows look out over the backyard.
In the first of three private bedrooms, a sumptuous king-size bed sits on honey-colored hardwood floors and faces a large HDTV. A spa-inspired bathroom is the very definition of breathtaking luxury— with two freestanding marble vanities, a gigantic step-in shower, and a modern soaking tub that sits next to a wall of vintage-inspired tiles. The second bedroom also features a king-size bed and an HDTV, while the third bedroom has a twin-over-full-size bunk bed and a television. The second full bathroom includes a delightfully retro tiled step-in shower and a single vanity.
From the kitchen, sparkling sliding glass doors lead outside to the backyard oasis. Off to one side is a soothing hot tub that is the ideal place to relax at the end of a long day of visiting local vineyards. Stone pavers create a perfect spot for a cozy fire pit that’s surrounded by vibrant Adirondack chairs. You’ll want to bring a bottle of wine out here in the evenings and gather around the crackling fireplace while savoring a local vintage. And when you’re in the mood for a romantic dinner downtown or perhaps an ice cream cone after dinner— the excitement of downtown Fredericksburg is only a quick two-minute drive away.

We went for a 4 generation girls weekend! Oldest was 91, youngest 7. This home mwt all our needs!

House was great, a bit farther to walk to Main Street than expected. I would suggest posting check out policy on website. We would stay here again!

Amazing little stay in Fredericksburg. The house was cute, well stocked, and clean! The location couldn’t have been better and check in was a breeze.

Nice property, near the shops.

Lovely accommodations, friendly and responsive host. Can see staying here again in the future. Small hiccup with check-in, but no fault of the host.

My wife and daughter (a Nurse) arrived at the house and we all thought "small house". Well surprise, surprise it was quite the opposite inside. We only used a 1/4 of the house. We were in Austin for a comedy show then drove in for some more downtime in Fredericksburg. After shop walking and spending we came to this cool un assuming house. Kitchen was over the top cool stove and island combination. Eating area my style with bench chair combination. The only creepy thing was the tall center of the window.(horror movie creepy). After playing cards provided and looking at the other games we turned in but not before taking showers in the overly spacious bathrooms. Large free standing tub and the shower on both bathrooms were spacious. This will be on our return list during our visit to the neighboring cities. Ok so im long winded great place......

The property and house is so beautiful. We had a group of family and each one of us had a great time. Such a short walk to town and plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again.

This property was perfect!

No complaints about the amentities. The remodel was very well done. Unfortunately, the A/C was not able to keep up with the Texas heat. At 9:00am every morning the inside temperature began climbing and the A/C did not catch up until the temperature reached 82 degrees. At 10:pm it was still 80 degrees in the house. Although the host contacted me by text with check in instructions, he would not respond to my questions about the A/C. It was a very uncomfortable 3 days to say the least. I might add that I live 2 hours from Fredericksburg so I know the Texas heat is unbearable right now, but if your A/C is not cooling the house, please do guests a favor and disclose that fact so they can decide if they want to choose a different lodging option. But at a minimum be courteous and respond to their communication attempts.

The house was just as pictured, but was older than we originally thought so there were creaks and sounds that are typical of an older home. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub which had lights and jets. The cover was easy to take off and put back on. We also really enjoyed the fire pit which had a protective grate over the top to protect from flyaway sparks. We used it each night we stayed and it was lovely.
The home is spacious and has updates. However, the master bath shower leaked out the bottom of the door, likely due to a seal issue. We put towels down to soak it up and then threw them in the dryer. I was very glad we had brought our own bath and hand towels because the ones on property are rough and thin. Some of them had what looked like rust stains, and so did one of our pillow cases. We just took the pillow case off and didn't use it.
The beds were the best part-they were a very comfortable memory foam. Both are lower to the ground for ease in and out of bed. We loved both the beds and that there were TVs in each bedroom.
My only complaint is that I wish there were curtains over the window in the laundry room and the window in the kitchen-so essentially all windows should have curtains or blinds. It felt very exposed when you wanted to walk to the kitchen for something, especially at night.
We were lucky to stay on a weekend because they are building a 2 story home behind the fence and the Monday we checked out the crew was loud. However, even though the house sits on a busy road we didn't hear any of it-only the construction crew.
Oh, and the other thing that would've been good to know is the driveway on the side is so slanted that my Nissan bottomed out and I scratched the under bumper. Easily solved-we just parked in the front but would've been good to have a head's up since the instructions say to enter through the back.
Overall, the stay was great and we'd definitely stay here again!

Spent a weekend here with friends who traveled into town. The house is spacious and has everything you could possibly want! The hot tub was luxurious, the beds very comfortable and there is a full kitchen with amenities. The upgrades make the home feel comfy while keeping the charm of an old home with original doors and floors. The only quirk was that I was never given a phone number for the rental agent and if I hadn’t run into the man delivering supplies, I am not sure how I would have gotten hold of the agent. They need to post their phone number. Parking is on the street so it’s not good for handicapped.

Stayed for one night on a Sunday. Great house, clean and great design. Just like in photos if not better. We used the hot tub, loved the showers and loved the space. Communication with host was easy enough. We enjoyed our time completely. Wish checkout wasn't 10 considering we couldn't check in until four it didn't seem like long enough but we were grateful for our time.
