We had 4 adults and on 4-year old. The house and bedrooms were perfect for our group. It gave us a good base for 3 days in the area - first time on Schoodic Peninsula. Short drive to Bar Harbor for more sights, shopping and eating. Pretty crowded, but manageable. We would do it again!

We stayed at this house for just one overnight, but it was a great location and area. We didn't get to do much exploring as it was a quick stay, but we did walk the property trail and the trail across the street to the pond. Disappointed that the house was not really cleaned well, there was left over silly string in different areas, floor and tables were not cleaned off, and also bathtub upstairs. Overall it was a good stay

We liked the location of the rental. It was quiet and private, but close to Schoodic point. We appreciated being able to take all of the dogs, the bedrooms and living area were spacious! The homeowner was very prompt with communication. Don’t miss the blueberry soft serve at Me and Ben’s Ice Cream or Lunch on the Wharf!

The house was great for us. We had 8 people and plenty of room. We liked the location. Quit area. It was a 50 min drive into Bar Harbor but close to Winter Harbor. We would stay again
The host, Lisa, answered email quickly and gave some suggestions on things to see

We enjoyed the trails out back for a short hike and across the road is a nice trail as well. A very clean home with everything that we needed. A short distance to Acadia, Prospect Harbor and Winter Harbor where views, scenery and restaurants are.

We had a wonderful time hiking Acadia with our dogs during the quiet season. It was great that the property was available to us when most of the rentals are closed for the winter. The property was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. It was located right near the Schoodic Point, a beautiful area of Acadia. We got to take in the exciting remnants of a coastal storm from a safe distance. All of us truly enjoyed our stay.

This home was great for our purposes. Many updates have been made on this rustic cabin and the owners clearly have a vision for this property.

Clean place with comfortable beds.
Close to Schoodic Peninsula the quieter & more relaxing part of Acadia National Park.

This property was perfect for our family trip. We had 6 adults, a 2 year old, and a dog and never felt crowded or that we could have used more space.
The layout of the open kitchen/dining room/living room was perfect for being able to cook dinner and while still being able to visit with each other.
Lisa was an incredible host! Our trip just so happened to start the day Hurricane Lee arrived. Lisa was great communicating with us what the conditions were and even offered to allow us to move our trip to different dates. She made sure that there were pots of water set out in case we lost power. She also provided lots of tips and suggestions of things to do/see.
The property is about 50 minutes away from the main part of Acadia but the sunset close to the house at Schoodic Point was unreal! The property is quiet and relaxing.
Highly recommend staying here if you don’t mind a bit of a drive to get to the park.

We really enjoyed our stay there.
Access to Schoodic was so easy, especially after driving from NY
The only negative was the humming coming from the refrigerator. It sounded like a phone off the hook.
I couldn’t sleep in that beautiful bedroom on the first floor. The noise drove me batty.

The beds were comfortable. The house, itself, was disappointing. It was adequate for our needs, but did not luve up to our expectations. Owner was great to communicate with, but discription of rental raised expectations above reality. It provided us with an adequate roof over our heads for our coastal visit.

We stayed 2 quick nights at this property. It is very close to the Schoodic Peninsula and Acadia park. It is much calmer at this part of the park that the Bar Harbour area. Overall it met our families needs for the 2 nights we stayed.

Perfect for our family adventure to explore Acadia National Park. We all loved the loop drive to Schoodic Point, a few minutes/miles from the front door. Our host was very responsive and the house was excellent.

My husband, senior dog, and I stayed at the rent house for a weekend in November. Its a beautiful home in a serene setting. Lisa was very helpful in sharing information and making sure we had a wonderful stay. The location was in close proximity to picturesque Schoodic Point. My husband and I hope to stay there again.

I was with my husband’s family to spread his ashes where we were married. I had to find somewhere last minute to fit us all. I am so glad I found this house. The place was beautiful & Lisa was wonderful! We didn’t get to stay long but everyone was in love with the location & House & we plan on another family trip there. Thanks again Lisa!
