Close your eyes and picture the perfect Mt. Hood cabin - now open them because you’ve found it with this charming home tucked into the towering trees and offering the peaceful getaway you crave. Have morning coffee and sunset cocktails on your broad deck, enjoying the serenity, then throw dinner on the gas grill for an easy cookout. Spend the evening roasting marshmallows around the firepit, with s’mores sticks thoughtfully provided.
Inside, you’ll find a space just as lovely. Stylish furnishings create a modern-cabin vibe, and the vaulted, wood-paneled ceilings and open layout make the area live large. And you’ll enjoy abundant natural light and the same tree-lined view thanks to the wall of windows onto the deck. The full, sleek kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, and there’s room for everyone at the window-front dining table. Stay close to home with a game of cornhole or darts, or spend the day hiking any of dozens of nearby trails, playing golf, waterfall peeping, mountain biking, or skiing in the winter, then come home to warm up in front of the gas fireplace. A boot warmer in the shed comes in handy to dry, wet skiing or hiking boots after a day of exploration. Guests traveling with dogs will appreciate the provided towels and blankets. Indoor entertainment options include free WiFi, board games, and two streaming-capable TVs. But the best way to end the night is back outside, soaking in your private hot tub under the starry sky.

It was by far our most favorite cabin that we have stayed in! The vibes were great as we stayed in the cabin during some rainy days. The interior was immaculate and we loved every minute of it. The view through the giant windows was an incredible view. We would 100% stay here again.

We loved staying here and would absolutely come back and/or recommend to others. It has a gorgeous view of the forest from the living room-- like being outside but still comfy I side. It feels private but not too far away from civilization and neighbors. Hot water, fire place, heaters and hot tub kept this Texan nice and cozy on a cool, rainy day. Thoughtful touches like tiny shampoos and soaps, and beach towels for the hot tub, were appreciated. Note: There are very few provided kitchen staples in terms of food, so if you're planning on cooking there, check with the host beforehand on what they have available in terms of condiments, etc. There was coffee, but I had to search for it. Lovely home that provided us a perfect stay!

Loved this cabin, it's location, the hot tub, and would 💯 stay again in the future.

Escaped the hustle and bustle of busy city life to this beautiful little cabin. The home had all things we needed to wind down after a day of exploring the trails nearby. Would definitely book again if we plan another adventure in Oregon. The jacuzzi and fire pit were definitely a plus!

This property is absolutely beautiful. Very comfortable, very clean, very quiet and serene. My teen daughter and I had intended to spend a day at the nearby alpine slides, but rain hampered that visit. We were not disappointed, as this cabin was the perfect retreat to just relax. I will definitely book here again; it is by far the best cabin I’ve ever stayed at in the area.

This was a newly remodeled cabin with a great kitchen, bathroom, view of the woods, and 2 nice bedrooms. Spacious open-floor plan to dine, cook, hangout, and small details provided, like garbage bags, soap, towels. Same cost as a nice hotel in the city, so we hope it can be a bit more affordable next year. 1/2 mile to good hiking.

This place kind of has it all. I have stayed at a lot of places over the last 30 years and there is always something missing. Not at the Koselig Cabin. Extra sheets, blankets, towels, cleaning supplies, dishes, cooking utensils, pots, pans, river walk, seclusion, proximity to everything Mt Hood, games to play, hot tub. I could continue but you get the picture. My family loved it!

Absolutely adorable cabin that was so so clean. We had so much fun and felt right at home. Also loved how close it was to some restaurants/shopping. Such a cute town, 10/10 would recommend!

Our stay was incredible! This vrbo had everything from a firepit, hot tub, amazing kitchen, to a beautiful view right outside of the door. Only about 25 minutes outside of Mt. Hood Meadows, the perfect place to stay when on a snowboarding trip or just wanting to have a relaxing place to stay outside of the city. We loved all of the amenities on the property, and this will definitely be out go-to place to stay from now on. Thanks so much for making my birthday snowboarding trip perfect!

So open, full of picture windows that bring in natural light while looking out at a green canopied Oregon forest. The sound of the Zig Zag River was nearby and being in the Spirit of Nature palpable. The home is very clean, modern upgrades, Nordic calm and cozy. Two bedrooms, all new furniture, wonderful hot tub. We could bring our dogs and went for walks around the forest, drove up 15 minutes to ski Timberline and despite a full kitchen we had fabulous meals at Skyway BBQ and Al Forno Italian/pizza restaurants 5 minutes away.

We were unable to stay due to a reported power outage. We were told the unit was “uninhabitable and unsafe to check in”. So we turned around and went home.
The email said “as a courtesy, we can reschedule you within 30 days.“. Which isn’t actually a courtesy. And there was no availability. Follow up communication indicated
“oh yeah, I guess there’s no availability, that’s unfortunate. “
The reservation was never canceled by the property owner in the system. I had also chatted with a representative from Vrbo, who told me that the property owner was obligated to give us a refund as they were unable to hold up their end of the deal. But I am getting emails and texts about “how was your stay?“ And the message from Vrbo to the property owner has not yet been responded to with regards to any sort of refund of the money. We paid upfront for the stay.
Wow, we are bummed that there was a power outage and we were unable to stay. We are not upset at the property owner for that, but we are upset that it seems as if they are refusing to refund us our money. It was out of their control yes but that’s how business works. We aren’t obligated to pay for something we have not received.
Hopefully, this will be resolved soon, and I can change my review.

Wanted to rent a cabin close to the mountain! Ended up choosing this one, super happy we did. Just 15 minutes from Mt Hood, it was a cozy, clean, and comfortable place to kick our feet up after long days of skiing.

The property was very nice. The problem was that due to the storm, the power went out for around five hours with no alternate heat source, flashlights or candles. About 15 minutes before the power went out, someone did bring us two flashlights. Just before the power came on, my husband noticed a generator on the side of the house and a generator box on the wall inside covered by a wall hanging. Wondering why this was not available for us to use to keep warm the for five hours the power was out? Evidently it happens often since they had a generator. Other than no heat and being dark for several hours, our stay was ok

We loved this get away; artfull, private, well-stocked. Clean. Customer support for specific needs was amazing.

The cabin is gorgeous. It's super clean and has everything you need for a nice stay. Sadly, we had intended to make our food and spent money on groceries only to find that the oven was inoperable. The manager said they would drop off a toaster oven as an attempt to band aid but they just ghosted me from there. The fire pit worked for about an hour before it ran out of gas and the fireplace never worked at all. It's also not fully fenced--i would describe it as minimally fenced. So consider that for dogs/kids/privacy issues. They also had old trash in bins without secure lids and a bear came and had its way with the garbage, which I then had to clean up. Without all of these issues, I'd have given it a 5 for sure.

Really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful cabin. It's in a "neighborhood" but hardly knew anybody else was around. The large deck, grill & hot tub got put to good use! Close to many things near Mt. Hood. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was just as it’s pictured. It’s tucked in the woods but is close to restaurants, grocery stores and great hikes. The cabin is clean and has everything we needed plus some. We would love to go back sometime, we really enjoyed our stay!

This property was beautiful, inside and out. I love the big windows that allow you to view the natural beauty outside while having a meal or hanging out inside. The hot tub was a treat after going on hikes in the surrounding area. The house was simple, clean and modern. Love that they had plenty of clean towels, extra blankets, toiletries, and even laundry detergent. I would definitely return to this house if I return to this area.

This house is exactly as described - it’s well maintained, has great amenities and super clean. After a day of hiking and seeing the beauty of the area, it was nice to relax by the fire or hop in the hot tub. Would def recommend!

Great getaway with my husband & pups. Very clean and updated. Great location and enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was short but overall nice. It’s in a very quite neighborhood but I will say the property photos are a bit misleading. There are houses on all sides and the yard is not fenced in. What looks like the back of the house with a big deck is actually the front, everyone on the road can see you at the fit pit or in the hot tub. Not my favorite thing. The cleanliness of the inside was amazing and the decor is incredibly nice. One issue we did have was the hot tub smelling kind of off and there was sand and debri in it so we did not use it more than once. A little disappointing. Right now there is construction in 2 places building new homes within a block of this property as well.

from even before going to the cabin I enjoyed it. My whole family loved it and we can’t wait to head back in the summer! 5 star! Highly recommend it.

We LOVED our stay at the Koselig Cabin! The house was immaculate and very well designed with beautiful furnishings. The location is very private and quiet and surrounded by nature. The home has expansive windows looking out to large trees, nice size bedrooms with comfy bedding and seating.
The kitchen was well stocked, wifi, fireplace, TVs and hot tub all worked perfectly. It was in a really nice location, close to hiking trails, and an easy drive to the grocery store and Mt. Hood. We stayed for three nights and the hardest part was having to leave - We will definitely be back again!

This place was great! It was a very cozy clean cabin. Everything was what we hoped for and more. The kitchen was fully equipped. We did have a several hours of internet downtime so be aware if you’re trying to work remotely or stream lots of movies but that’s no fault of your hosts.

The Koselig Cabin was absolute perfection- had everything you could possibly need.
