Location was good but on a busy road, we were at the back so the street noise was ok. You can hear quite a lot of noise from the other apartments though.
The kitchen and bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly enough. Crumbs all over the kitchen countertop and the fridge hadn't been wiped out. Dirty glasses left out too. We only made a coffee, so that was ok but the bathroom, especially the toilet, was not cleaned well at all. The basin tap still had toothpaste from the previous visitors on it and I won't describe the outside of the toilet base. For the price it was passable. Would we stay again? No.

The room was a good size and had good facilities
Some things outside of the hosts control like road noise, noise from other residents were both pretty bad. Had me awake until after 3am. There is nothing the host can do about that.
The only other minor change I would suggest is putting a small sofa in the room. The chairs look nice but aren’t really that comfy for an evening in the room.

Location, cleanliness, ease of access
Shower wasn’t working correctly , had to call maintenance who carried out a temporary fix but still wasn’t working 100%

Central property, hot water.
Nowhere to put towels in bathroom. No hooks for anything there. No shelf or table for toilet bags. Light round mirror not working. No chair in bedroom. Just wardrobe, and TV which was not working. Bedding needed replacing. (Bobbly) pillows poor.there was a kitchen off corridor for use. But this could not be called an apartment.

The room was very clean and the shower facilities were good.
I was disappointed that I had to pay to pay my car for the duration of my stay, this added to my holiday expenses. There were no cooking facilities apart from a microwave. The person who had the room above me, kept me awake until past midnight every night. it wasn't music or anything like that, but just generally moving around was noisy. Other people coming and going out of the building continuously slamming their room doors and the front door.

It was alright it wasn't what I was expecting. It was okay though
It wasn't all one room and it was really hot as well we struggled to sleep.

East to find and access, room pleasant. Good bathroom. Clean and tidy. Parking available.
Poor sound insulation between apartments. Complete lack of utensils in kitchen. Separate kitchen awkward to use door through from bedroom would be better.

It was clean inside, the bed was comfortable, and the room was a good size. On reflection it was reasonable value for money. There isn't anything more to praise I'm afraid.
So the front door was difficult to open, had to almost lift the door with the handle to get it back over the threshold. There was a leak in the ceiling on the stairs. TV didn't work and the shower was not the greatest. Didn't like that the kitchen was across the hall but via another locked door. The picture on Booking.com was not the room I stayed in, was a bit dated. I would not stay here again

The furniture consists of a bed, two rickety bedside tables, tv and a wonky wardrobe with two hangers. In the bathroom there is nothing - no towel rail, hook or shelf. The only place to put your luggage, clothes, toiletries, towel or soap is on the floor. There is, fortunately, a ironing board which we could utilise as a makeshift shelf. A used tissue from the last guest was discarded on the floor, very disconcerting. There is also a problem with the water pressure and the noise through the paper thin walls

Very spacious and comfortable. Quick walking distance to town centre.
Nice little kitchenette in room to make hot drinks and fridge to store food/drink.
Very clean and modern!
Send the check in information a little earlier. Had to call numerous times on arrival. No big issue, but was a little alarming when there was no answer.

Basement apartment in hot weather meant the room was cool, also very large apartment
Being a basement smelt foists. The pillows and bed very lumpy. Ok but not ultra fine. Also kitchen bin hadn’t been emptied

We booked the apartment for a single night after a concert at Piece Hall. The location is excellent for central Halifax. It should be noted that the property does NOT come with a parking space, as listed, and parking is therefore on a meter, which is free between 8pm and 8am. The house is a HMO, so we did feel a bit wary about the other occupants. There was a lot of road noise from the main road nearby and quite a bit of noise from other rooms. The room itself was reasonably good. I think it’s fine for a single night and good value for the price we paid, but I wouldn’t recommend for anyone of a slightly nervous disposition.
No parking and the listing does make it clear that this is a HMO.

The smell of damp in the kitchen and bathroom dodgy front door and uneven and creaky kitchen floor we were told we could park round the back of the property but on departure we wee blocked in by a neighbour who said it was not their parking space but his

We loved having a kitchen facility and everything was provided that we needed. We were impressed that an iron, ironing board, hairdryer and towels were all provided. As well as tv and Wi-Fi.
This isn’t a complaint as such but the mattress on the bed wasn’t comfortable, and this was literally the only negative thing we could say.

A nicely decorated apartment.
Having to email photo ID prior to our visit. The fact we had to wait approx 1 hour prior to arrival for access information. I felt this was way over the top for spending one night in the apartment.
The smell of Indian food throughout the whole apartment block. Even in the apartment we stayed in. We kept the window open throughout our stay. Even the soft furnishings smelt strongly.

The property was well placed, walking distance from the town. The room was presented well with modern colour scheme and contemporary decoration.
There was 24 hr parking close by.
Thinking I had booked an apartment I had assumed there would have been more kitchen facilities than a kettle and toaster.
The host is obviously making a great effort to present the en-suite room well, it was visually appealing.
The kettle had to be filled by cup from the hand basin.
There was washing up liquid but no tea towel, no protection for work surface , no coasters, could result in damage to tops of work surface, bedside tables.
There were two power outs, the first within hours of our arrival, the host responded very promptly to this, the second we found out about on returning to the room after an evening out, I assume someone else reported this as power was reinstated.
I also found the delay in receiving access information frustrating, as it resulted in loosing half a day in Halifax, as due to previous unfortunate incident with another company I did not want to leave home until I knew I had a real booking.

location
pretty basic and expensive for what you got. No free parking, not happy as received a parking ticket at 9.30 on a Sunday morning

Just really poorly built, and very very cheap bed etc. separate kitchen in a different location. Bed was just 4 chairs pushed together with a old mattress with springs poking out.

The location suited me, the shower was good, room was clean and it was good enough for the price I paid.
The kitchen was separate from the en-suite bedroom so I had to bring kettle etc into bedroom so that I did not have to go onto the public landing to go to the kitchen. This won’t be a problem for everyone but it didn’t suit me. The central heating in the bedroom didn’t work but there was an electric fire which was ok,
however the radiator in the kitchen was hot.
