GREAT ALL ROUND ACCOMODATION

Convenient area, in the heart in seemed of everything. Walked into the city centre, then took a local bus to Shirley, so great location. Able to book for a family meal across the road. at Ocean Village, so right on the doorstep. Great choice of restaurants, plus local supermarkets also just five minutes away from accommodation Will definitely book to stay again.

Fantastic value for the money and great (but basic) in absolute.

In a different trip to Southampton I reserved a reasonably cheap place but it was so bad that I had to run away after the first night, despite the fact that I had already paid. I was afraid this would be the same but instead it was great! Clean, comfortable and super cheap. The sink in the room made sharing the bathroom much easier. Thanks! The staff was also very nice and accommodating. I must say that I have been in university housing in fancy places in the UL and this was much better. Basic but with everything one might need. It was a real discovery and I will definitely reserve again here if I need to come back to Southampton.

At first I was not happy about having to share the bathroom. But even this was very much ok as the place was rather empty.

Student accommodation - good value, but with some drawbacks.

This accommodation is student halls of residence. I stayed when there were not many students around and actually stayed here twice over summer. The accommodation is a bit pot-luck - depending who your neighbours are you'll get a better/worse night's sleep and the cleanliness of the kitchen/toilets/showers will also depend on them. I found the room to be clean, bed to be comfortable, wifi excellent on both occasions, but shared areas very variable. Staff generally very friendly but a couple with a bit of an attitude. I payed for parking and on one occasion was fine, but on the other there was some issue and it was not associated with my key so every time I had to go in to reception to have them raise the barrier - not a huge problem, but a bit inconvenient and I had paid extra for this. Good value and good location.

See above - basically student accommodation so can be noisy and infringe on a good night's sleep. Also some shared areas not so clean.

It’s very suitable for someone staying for a longer period of time and very close to Tesco and bus stops

The room and the kitchen was very clean and convenient

The receptionist was very friendly and the property is very clean and affordable

student accommodation summer let. pleasant room in convenient location near the high street. shared bathrooms and kitchen. manned reception during daytime. southampton surprised me with its historic walls, gates and and other interesting remains.

the walking directions with google leads to the main entrance and reception, but through a dreary part of town. but if you exit the accommodation by the south entrance in canute street, there is a pleasant walk to the high street, and shorter than that suggested by google maps. there is also nightlife in nearby oxford road. unfortunately, this southern gate closes at 10pm.

Back to uni.

It was a very good price on a busy weekend. The staff was welcoming. The location was central enough that I could walk to everything. The sink in the room was a nice amenity.

The other guests were fairly quiet, but you could here every door open and close.

Good value place to stay, would stay again

Staff here are great - very friendly and helpful. The place itself is basically student accommodation, but despite this the rooms are a good size and quite comfortable. I thought that the room itself was quite clean.

My room was quite warm so I had to have the window open and there was quite a lot of noise outside on the first night. Also, the doors along the corridor seem to bang shut. Some of the communal areas are a bit grubby, but perhaps more from stains than actually being dirty.

Great Staff

Great staff, the room had a basin and plates and cutlery and plenty of storage.

Other guests! One guest slammed doors many times in the late and early hours and somebody on that landing obviously had no respect for other guests as they made a disgusting mess in the bathroom and also broke the toilet seat. All in all it was well worth the money and I will definitely stay here again.
