Foxholme Manor stands amongst the most sublime scenery of woodlands, orchards, and gardens, tucked away in a charming part of the Cotswolds. Visited by deer and foxes with a wildflower meadow in the distance, you are in natures wonderland and the house is the jewel in her crown.
Each room at Foxholme Manor has been curated with love and attention to detail crafting a holiday home which you can truly relax into. You feel as though you have stepped into a new world as you walk the corridors, finding a new delight hidden around each corner. It is a fabulous setting for family reunions and large groups where memories will be shared and renewed. Each sitting room is exquisite with a space to suit every celebration as you mingle around the crackling wood burning stoves. Meals are cooked at the AGA and served in the elegant dining room while drinks can be taken out to the south facing terrace to watch the sunset. The seven bedrooms exude tranquillity and provide respite and privacy with seating areas and a yoga studio. The stunning master suite provides privacy and decadent accommodation with its own sitting area overlooking the fields where you can retreat for a romantic evening of champagne toasts. Character is added throughout the house with quirky details from Snowy the polar bear to a telephone box and colourful tiled shower rooms.
Outside the surprises continue as you explore the 13-acres of grounds. Stepping from the front door onto the terrace your gaze is filled with lush greenery and a peaceful stillness. This is the perfect spot for sundowners and BBQs, dining al fresco with this idyllic backdrop. Across the central courtyard is the pool house in a converted long barn. Opening the swathe of French doors this is a space like you've never seen before. It is much more than first meets the eye with room to dine and a fully equipped kitchen to prepare delicious home-cooked meals. Take a dip in the swimming pool before lounging at the water's edge, enjoying the seclusion this walled pool terrace offers. You will find endless places to lay a picnic blanket and relax in the sun and to explore with the family dog. Ground Floor
Kitchen/Diner:
This traditional country kitchen feels like stepping back in time. With a tiled floor beneath your feet and wooden beams above it is a charming space full of personality. There is a large AGA and two-ring hob, dishwasher, and a large fridge freezer. Choose the added luxury of hiring a private chef to cook up locally sourced ingredients to elevate your stay. The dining space seats five and is more casual, lending itself to lazy breakfasts and a bite to eat before heading out for the day.
Drawing Room:
Made for conversation, the spacious drawing room with its high ceilings, mullioned window, oriental rug, and crackling wood burner is the heart of the home. Gather around the large smart TV to watch your favourite film together with a feast of popcorn. Or choose to leave technology behind and embrace the social atmosphere that the expansive U-shaped sofa creates and simply enjoy each other's company.
Cloakroom:
At the end of the sitting room is a porch opening to the driveway and parking, and a cloakroom with a WC and sink. This is a surprisingly elegant space decorated in a deep blue.
The Foxy Snug:
Known by the owners as the whisky room, it is a place to linger as the evening draws in. A feature red wood burning stove in a large stone inglenook and characterful telephone box spark conversation which will last long into the evening.
Dining Room:
Serving meals before the open fire is a grand occasion. The table extends to seat 14 and offers views across both the orchard and the courtyard. It is a light and bright room which can be beautifully dressed for a celebration meal.
Drawing Room:
Tucked away at the end of the house, the drawing room is a place to get away from it all. Light the wood burning stove and flick through a magazine as you relax on the opulent button back sofas, or if you must catch up on work make use of the writing desk here.
First Floor
The Mayfair Suite:
Supreme luxury is found in the Mayfair Suite. Shutting the doors, guests staying here can enjoy the privacy offered. The bedroom has a super king-size bed before a large window looking across the grounds. Curl up on the sofa with a morning paper and take your time getting ready in the morning.

The Chelsea:
This bright bedroom has a super king-size bed and looks across the trees with a bench to sit and watch the birds. The decorative fireplace shows the history of the manor, and the floorboards are warmed with a tapestry style rug. The serene décor is a breath of fresh air, and you are sure of a sound night's sleep.
Shower Room:
Beautifully finished with open stone walls, beams, and Moroccan themed tiles this first shower room is equipped with a step-in shower, WC, and sink. There is also a separate WC without a sink next door.
Sitting Area:
Beginning a separate wing of the house this sitting area is surrounded by original wooden beams. It is a cosy spot with two sofas and four armchairs to lounge as you wait for everybody else to be ready for the day.

We spent a long weekend at Foxholme manor and had the best time. The house is stunning and a great size for the party of 12. We did spend most of our time around the pool and using the pool house however the whole house and grounds were beautiful.
