About this cottage rental
Red House is a substantial property housing a kitchen/living room, a dining room, a snug with open fire, a games room with a gym/sauna. Appliances include AGA oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and for entertainment there is a TV and WiFi. The bedrooms include a family room with two king beds, three doubles and a twin, served by a bathroom and cloakroom. Outside there is a patio with furniture, hot tub and barbecue, a heated games room, gym/sauna, double tennis courts, a croquet lawn and ample off-road parking. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Within 2.5 miles there is a shop, pub and beach and please note, two well-behaved pets are welcome but sorry, there is no smoking. Escape to Red House and holiday on the Devon and Dorset border. Please note: No loud music or sounds outside after 10:30pm as the property sits in a residential area.
Amenities: Oil central heating. Large electric AGA with double hob, electric oven combined with microwave option, large double fridge/freezer, dishwasher, 2 washing machines, 2 dryers in downstairs laundry room with an additional freezer. TV and WiFi. Fuel and power in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. 2 private acres with magnificent views of the valley and sea. The first patio area, can be dog secured, includes a large BBQ and dining area. The second patio area includes an outdoor living room, sauna, shower and hot tub. The former double grass tennis court can be used for croquet and badminton and this leads to a large open field. Private parking spot up to 5 cars. Two well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1.5 miles, beach 2.5 miles. Note: No stag or hen parties. Please note: No loud music or sounds outside after 10:30 pm as the property sits in a residential area.
Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Town: The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind.
