About this apartment rental
A bright & spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and an extra sofa bed. Located in Zone 1 with great transport links taking you to Central London and sites such as Big Ben, The London Eye, London Aquarium, Tate Modern, Borough Market and the South Bank in 10 minutes.
The apartment is very bright and beautifully kept with stunning views across London that really take the breath away.
Located just a short walk journey from Central London and all of it's exciting sites this bright and sunny two bedroom flat is in an amazing position with stunning views.
The apartment comes complete with everything you would expect at home with all linen provided and a kitchen full of amenities.
There is a great wi-fi connection throughout the apartment and the TV has full access to Netflix and other streaming services such as Amazon Prime.
This apartment is perfect for families or groups travelling together in style!
I am always available online plus we have a handyman on call 24/7
The flat is located in trendy South London with its excellent transport links taking you right into the heart of the city.
Elephant & Castle is famous for it's nightlife as well, especially the Ministry of Sound and the Corsica Studios, both which are a short walk away. The flat is also near Vauxhall and Brixton with their buzzing bar scenes
The flat is also really close to the South Bank of the Thames. From there you can stroll along the river, visit the Tate Modern or even see a play at The Globe Theatre, home of William Shakespeare.
Borough market, the best food market in London, is also just a quick journey from the apartment. It's one of my favourite places in London!
Tube : Elephant & Castle station is only a 10 minute walk, or 2 minute bus journey from the flat. You can take the Northern Line or Bakerloo Line to Central London from there
Buses : There are loads of buses that stop right outside the flat and will take you all over London. Many of them run 24 hours as well
Bikes : There are also Santander Bike docking stations nearby where you can hire a bike. It is free for less than half an hour and only £ 2/day.

The location of the flat is really good as there are a lot of bus stops right in front of it. A 24 hours supermarket is also nearby. The flat itself is very basic but ok for a short stay. It could need a bit of renovation (bathroom or kitchen) but it wasn't too bad. The stairway to the flat doesn't look very welcoming ...

The welcome pack had incorrect information, such as TV instructions were for a firestick, when it was "now TV" , the keys were not as described and the uber code didnt work. so first impressions were not great. One of the bedrooms felt like if we on a slope - so much the wardrobe is propped up with paper and the drawers were also broken. The apartment is also up a lot of very stepp steps. good location and functional but very basic

The flat is in a multicultural neighborhood on a busy street with access to grocery, shopping and a lot of public transportation. Bus stops right near the flat and the metro within easy walking distance. Just 2 blocks or so from the flat is a very large park with tennis, play area for kids, running trails, bike trails and even fishing ponds. Flat was cozy and adequate. Owner was very helpful and responsive. We had a slight issue with the bathroom light and it was quickly and easily fixed. Definitely would stay here again.

Cozy apartment with city living
The flat is in a multicultural neighborhood on a busy street with access to grocery, shopping and a lot of public transportation. Bus stops right near the flat and the metro within easy walking distance. Just 2 blocks or so from the flat is a very large park with tennis, play area for kids, running trails, bike trails and even fishing ponds. Flat was cozy and adequate. Désappointée et déçue
Grosse déception, les photos prises sur le site sont très flatteuses, l'appartement ne correspond pas vraiment, des fils électriques qui jonchent le sol, les tiroirs de la commode ne ferment pas, une armoire est à niveau grâce à du papier journal, le linge des occupants précédents pend sur les radiateurs ou sur un fil dans la chambre, la cage d'escalier est malpropre et sent l'urine. Dans les équipements on parle d'un sèche linge, rien trouvé, seulement des fils pour étendre le linge, mais déjà occupés par des draps. Bref à déconseiller.

This flat is located on the top floor of the building. It takes much energy to transport luggage up the narrow flights of stairs. When we arrived, the previous renter’s laundered bedding was left out to dry in the bedrooms. The bedrooms were as described but lacked charm. The bathroom was functional but needs updated. The kitchen and living room were the nicer rooms in this flat.
The big issue we had is that after we had gotten settled for the night, there was a rainstorm which resulted in the roof leaking through the ceilings in the main bedroom areas. This put quite a “damper” on our sleeping arrangements for the night, leaving one bed unusable due to the leak and therefore insufficient beds for five adult-sized people.
Maintenance was called, but they were not able to do anything about the leaky ceiling situation. The property owner was called and a message was left. He was kind enough to return a call early the next morning and was very understanding of our circumstance.
The property owner advised us to contact HomeAway and seek help to find another place to stay for the remainder of our time in London. The property owner refunded all our money with exception of the cleaning fee. The property owner is easy to communicate with.
The flat is very close to bus stops for transport into the city for sightseeing.

Bonne localisation pour visiter Londres
L’autobus est à 100 mètres et vous amène facilement aux principaux points de visite. Beaucoup de service à proximité. Équipement de l’appartement est très minimaliste. Le sèche linge était déjà occupé par la literie du précédent locataire. La chambre de bain mériterait une rénovation. L’appartement est propre et situé au troisième étage.

Pas de chauffage
Le descriptif ne correspond pas à l'appartement. Pas de lave-vaisselle, ni de sèche-linge.
Lors de notre arrivée, ni chauffage, ni eau chaude. 9° dans l'appartement. Pas possible de mettre en marche la chaudière !! Une personne est intervenu le soir même, sans résultat. Un chauffagiste est intervenu le lendemain matin. Impossible de réparer, une pièce doit être changée, délai 3 jours. Le propriétaire nous a contacté, pour nous conseiller de contacter Abritel pour une solution de relogement. Il nous a remboursé le montant de la location.
Le service client d'Abritel, contacté vers 12h, nous a proposé un hébergement de substitution dans un hôtel à proximité vers 18h. (chambre pour quatre, nuitées non à notre charge). Nous avons accepté, compte tenu de la présence de nos deux petites filles.
Bien sur, celà nous a dépanné, mais ne correspondait pas à notre choix initial.
