About this house rental
Enjoy in-town trailside convenience in the heart of the Methow Valley with all the comforts of home. We are located just minutes from downtown Winthrop, situated in a quiet neighborhood alongside the Susie Stevens Trail. Walk, bike, or ski to town and the variety of shops, restaurants, and amenities Winthrop has to offer. We look forward to helping to make your Methow Valley experience the very best it can be. Welcome to your home in the Methow!
Winthrop Trailside Getaway 1 is a new 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, single story 1,200 square foot home with a full kitchen, spacious living and dining area, and outdoor patio. It is part of a brand new single story duplex, along with Winthrop Trailside Getaway 2. Each unit is completely private with a separate driveway (opposite sides of the Greenwood loop), entry and patio. There are no shared spaces, and none of the living areas in either unit are adjacent to the common wall of the building. So you can enjoy the peace and privacy of your own space. Or if you have a large group, book both units to accommodate up to 10 people. Whether you are here for a weekend or an extended stay, we look forward to helping to make your Methow experience one to remember.
Spend your day exploring the Methow Valley's beautiful landscapes and trails and return to enjoy a comfortable, climate-controlled, fully-equipped home away from home. You are centrally located and a quick 5-minute walk will take you to the Winthrop Library, Winthrop Rink, Barnyard Cinema, Methow Valley Food Shed Farm Stand, IGA supermarket, and locals-favorite, East 20 Pizza. Winthrop's historic downtown is only a 10-minute walk on the Susie Stephens Trail, which takes you past one of the most scenic Winthrop viewpoints on the Spring Creek Suspension Bridge crossing the Methow River.
We offer eco-friendly, fragrance-conscious household products and strive to minimize our environmental impact. A few of our environmental efforts include plant-based bath and cleaning products, all-cotton towels and linens, xeriscape landscaping, and an EV charging outlet. Our energy-efficient heating and cooling system will keep you comfortable on those hot, sunny summer days or snowy winter nights.
A large gear storage room is located at the back of the carport for easy and secure storage of your bikes, skis, or other outdoor recreation equipment. The gear storage room locks with the same key as the home.
The dining room table is set for 4, but accommodates 2 additional place settings using the leaf and additional chairs located in the front entry closet.
We offer full laundry facilities, including eco-friendly, fragrance-free laundry detergent.
An EV charging station (50amp RV outlet) is located in the carport. You will need the appropriate adapter for your specific EV type.
We provide family-friendly amenities, such as games/puzzles (in the living room sideboard and ottoman) and a pack-n-play for infants (in the walk in closet of the second bedroom). Please let us know if there is anything we can provide to make your stay more enjoyable.
