This is very close to freeway and main street so trafic noise is concern. I have to chage rolm to back side. Reception area coffee was cold and bad. Breakfast is continental. Still ok. Staff was friendly. Hot tub and pool was warm. Overall just ok to stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were kinda hard, which isnt the worst thing in the world. And i wish they had a better breakfast. The make your own waffles was nice, but i wish they offered eggs and real sasauge, all thwy has was potateos and veagan sausage which was not labled. But besides that, we will probably use this hotel for every santa cruz trip we take from now on!

At 3am the ceiling started pouring water from the ceiling. We woke up to a waterfall dripping over our suitcase and could not access the bathroom without water pouring on us. We immediately got up and went to the front desk. The overnight person was rude and said we had to either leave or deal with the room because they were booked and didn’t have another room. I wanted her to call the MOD to ensure we received a refund on the room for the inconvenience but she said she couldn’t do anything. She accused me of being drunk or on drug's as i was there at 3am! Really lady! I was in town for one night for a work function. We had to leave and drive home 2 1/2 hours home and left with the worst experience i have ever had. Called back in the morning and no response back as no-one can help as they say they are not in charge!!! Room was outdated and carpet was pulling up, stains on carpet and old amenities. The bed was so hard i already had a hard time sleeping from the bed. You can hear the people upstairs flushing toilets, using sink and in the shower. They were up at 3 am in the bathtub or shower is why the walls and ceiling we’re pouring water down. Run down

The TV didn’t work. Problem with the sat box. It was fixed quickly. The shower was missing the shower curtain. They dropped one off while we were gone but we had to install it. The pool and spa were nice. Breakfast was good but they were out of eggs by 8:30 and no more to be made.

Rooms were nice and clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Staff was kimd. Surrounding area was quiet. The breakfast wasn't GREAT. Not sure if it was plant based sausage but the it was strange and also the potatoes were probably bagged and put in oven, werent fully cooked and also there were no eggs with it. Other then that there was waffles, cereal and small pastries and yogurt.

Had reservation for 2 double beds Only had 1 queen and a very uncomfortable pull out twin couch- then came to find out no tv in the bedroom- talked to receptionist and she told me they pulled out the cable box and gave it to another room- also only 1 bath towel for 2 people My brother and I

I liked the location. If you enjoy walking it’s not a far walk from the downtown area. The rooms were decent and tidy. The vegetarian continental breakfast was good. I was pleasantly surprised by the meat substitution. The lightening in the rooms were bright and harsh. The air conditioner unit is outdated therefore it was difficult to set the temperature in the room. It’s not that I didn’t feel safe but it was a little concerning to wake up and find a homeless person sleeping in the open parking lot.

Parked the car in the property's parking lot and got glass broken. Nothing was stolen as all left was half dozen of drinking water. Manager and staff were patient enough to help rewind the camera video and capture the face of the suspect but they can't do anything else. The staff are nice, room is clean, swimming pool is small, public area could have some updates, 1 star may be unfair but since safety is a concern-probably a hotel with garage would be a must in Cali?

The room they gave us was surprisingly large, older hotel that does need renovation but good for a night or two. It is by a busy street but other then that staff was nice, housekeeping stayed busy and the rooms were clean.

I stayed with my nieces. We had two rooms a few doors apart. Both rooms were very clean. They are a bit older vintage, but well cared for. The pool was nice. Parking was convenient. We felt very safe here. The guests were mainly families. It was quiet, and we slept quite well.

We booked a room with a king bed and a queen bed, and I appreciated the separate door for added privacy. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kids loved the swimming pool. I highly recommend this place if you’re in Santa Cruz—it’s also in a nicer area of town.
