Myself and my sister had a lovely stay, the service was second to none and a big shout and thank you to Stefanos our bar tender for the evening! He was so welcoming and made a great themed cocktail. Clean, comfortable and good tea/breakfast selection. If we are ever back in Iceland we would definitely stay here again.

Very nice location at the top of a huge hill. Family owned and operated. Nice bar and restaurant table are set up in a banquet style. Breakfast buffet is huge and our dinner the night we got there was very nice with the chef specials. I had artic chard and my friend had stuffed peppers - both were tasty. Rooms were very large. It was windy when we stayed and we were able to catch some northern lights! A nice experience.

This hotel is best for huge tour groups - when we arrived the lobby was completely packed with tour groups - so if you're looking for a cozy stay with a partner or friends - I wouldn't recommend. The breakfast is also packed with tour groups - so you need to had breakfast later to have a more comfortable stay. The rooms are very basic - and there's not even bed-side plugs available - so you need to plug your phone in across the room. While the room was fine - not a very nice experience for the very high cost.

A large hotel geared up for coach tours. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Had we know about the large number of coach tours staying we would have looked for a smaller hotel as Breakfast was chaos.

Nice hotel with standard accommodations suitable for couples or groups. Lots of room here and a great buffet for breakfast. They also offered dinner. About a 10-15 min drive to Reyjsfanara beach.

Good breakfast, but the coffee machine was not great. Other hotels had a much better machine. Also we were surprised to not fine yogurt is such a large offering for breakfast.

Hótel Dyrhólaey is a very conveniently located property, just outside downtown Vik. It is on top of a hill, with a nice view of the ocean. The property is well maintained. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean with ample space to move around. Breakfast Buffet has a lot of options. Overall, I will give it 4.5 stars.

This is a pretty big property. There were a lot of tour buses there, which made the breakfast buffet quite crowded at certain hours. That said, our sleeping hours were very quiet. Our only complaint is that the gym hours were not posted and it was locked when we wanted to work out first thing in the morning.

A very enjoyable stay! We got one of the bigger rooms which was really nice. The room was updated and clean. A good location up on the hill overlooking the landscape. Breakfast was fantastic too. Definitely recommend!

Very expensive for what you get. Older hotel small dated room but very clean. Bathroom was spotless but for $300 a night one would expect more. Breakfast was adequate but when I asked for a to go cup for a cup of coffee I was told that’s an extra $3.00. You have got to be kidding. It’s also very popular with the tour buses check in was crazy. Of course you are limited in hotels for the area. But the next night we stayed at the hotel Skógafoss was $40 cheaper the room was much larger, newer and clean. And better dining facilities Do yourself the favor and drive 20 minutes.

Great location and view. Close to vik (where we got dinner). Would not recommend the breakfast however it is included so maybe just don’t eat the eggs. Room was small and tv didn’t work but the heated floors were a perk.

This property is tired looking and a bit rundown. The outside of the property needs some attention. Overpriced for what you get.

View in front of the hotel is great, our room surprisingly had a few mosquitos considering it’s cold in Iceland
