This beautifully restored 16th-century home faces the Alhambra in Granada. Renovated by French interior designer Yann Le Coadic, it integrates a variety of architectural influences from the region’s Moorish, Roman, Renaissance Catholic, and Franco Modernist history. The two-story riad features a central courtyard, three ensuite bedrooms, and a rooftop terrace, comfortably accommodating six guests, with room for a seventh on a convertible sofa. Le Coadic’s thoughtful restoration includes a monastery-inspired dining table, a Middle Eastern-style low-slung sofa, and an aluminum headboard designed to enhance natural light. Additional services such as a butler, in-home chef, and locally sourced toiletries elevate the experience.
The Space:
The home is designed in a riad-style with all rooms facing a central courtyard, which gives it a classic, open feel. There’s also a rooftop terrace offering sweeping views. The three spacious bedrooms each have their own ensuite bathrooms, ideal for up to six guests, with a sofa bed in the smoking room that can accommodate a seventh person. Le Coadic’s touches are subtle but impactful, with a minimalist approach to maintaining the home’s historical integrity.
Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the home, including the central courtyard and rooftop terrace. Butler services and in-home chef options can be arranged upon request to make your stay even more enjoyable. Daily breakfasts or full meal preparation are available as additional services.

The home is located in Granada, a historic city known for its stunning blend of architectural influences, most notably the UNESCO World Heritage Alhambra (a must-see). Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas, Granada offers a rich cultural experience, from its Moorish Albacín quarter to its Gypsy Sacromonte district, famous for flamenco. The city is also known for its abundant gardens and tradition of providing free tapas with drink purchases.
Getting Around:
The home is located near major sites, including the Alhambra and the Albacín quarter, so walking is an excellent way to explore. For those looking to venture further afield, day trips into the Sierra Nevada mountains for hiking, skiing, and other outdoor activities are recommended. Granada’s nearest airport is just 15km away, and the larger Malaga airport is 100km away.
