Excellent location, only a few steps away from the busy area. Friendly staff and clean room. I like that there aren’t many rooms so it was always quiet.
Room is small but expected for the price.

Location. Comfort
Hard to find as there are 2 with same name

Convenient location, quite close to the old town. Within walking distance of the railway station. There are a lot of bars and restaurants near this hostel. Rooms have all the necessary facilities.
The room smelled a little musty. The terrace shown on the website can only be used during the hours when front desk staff are present.

Good location. Huge room. Quiet at night. Comfie bed. Clean. Supermarket close. Sam Sebastian very nice place

Great location; rooms big and comfortable.
As it’s a “pension” it’s hard to find someone at the front desk.

A clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed. Good location
Poor quality bedding and towels. No chairs in bedroom, just small stools.
Only l small bar of soap provided in bathroom
Reception was quite often not staffed

very contemporary
we stayed 5 years ago and it seemed a little tired. room 105 poor quality bath towels, the shower door was sticking, a bed side light was not working and I thought the shower surround could have been a bit cleaner.
Great at reception and no better location.
We left a day early as the weather forecast was awful and were not charged for the cancelled night, enough to make us want to return.
San Sebastián is a delightful town!!

Great location for a fair price.
Room to little with just one small window.

Excellent location, we walked everywhere, have been to San Sebastian many times and would definitely return to this guesthouse. San Sebastian is all about the pintxo bars, food and wine for us, so no restaurant required in the hotel, just a comfy bed in a central location. This guesthouse was perfect in that regard. I loved the Nespresso machine in the room, as I only drink black coffee, my partner likes tea with milk, so a kettle and some tea bags and milk sachets would have been a nice touch as far has he was concerned. We had to do a little work on laptops in the room each morning before heading out for the day, the wi-fi worked great, no issues.
The shower temperature controls in Room 203 are the wrong way round! So our first night out of 3 there was no hot water! After we complained we were told the hot and cold were labelled incorrectly! It would have been good to have been told this at check in! The shower door is old and doesn't slide easily. I was expecting a shower over the bath, as per the description for a 'superior' room on booking.com. as I like a bath and my partner prefers a shower, but we only had a shower cubicle - I will request a bath next time we book.

Superbly located on the edge of the old town and less than 10 minutes to the beach. Nicely sized rooms with nice features. Also our room was quiet and we could not hear the noise from the weekend nightlife coming from the street.

Great central location, clean room and bathroom and comfortable bed.
Central location meant parking was expensive (20euro/day). Room was cramped. Very shallow shower tray, very slow draining shower and ill-fitting shower doors meant the bathroom flooded every time we had a shower - even if turning it on and off during the shower. We reported it, but although the doors were adjusted and fitted a little better, it still flooded. Two days running our keycards stopped working and we couldn't get into our rooms and had to phone staff to come and sort it out. Not good value for money - the 2 star we stayed in the previous few days in Bilbao was better size and facilities and much better value.

It was large and clean and cool enough to sleep well at night.
I dont like that there is two different prices for one or teo guests it should be the same.

Great location. Very helpful manager and staff. Nice terrace
Water in the shower took ages to get warm. This didn't really matter as the weather was good so a cool shower was OK!

Does not match description, there is no bar and no coffee bar, accommodation is on the 1st floor with a lift.

Great location and new and clean accommodation. Perfect for what we wanted.
Seemed expensive for what it was but I think all accommodation in the location is expensive. Paying for location.
