quiet motel that needs renovation

The place was quiet. The manager was kind. The bathroom was clean. The beds are firm.

Contrary to what was advertised on booking, there was no option to have a baby bed. We had to arrange our son to sleep between us and had a bad night. The place was clean-ish, but not under the beds or other corner places. Dishes were not really clean and still on the dish rack. The place overall needs renovation, many paint flakes, cigarette hole in the bed covers, mattresses and beds are overworn, radiators rusty, etc.

We hadden een last minute slaapplaats nodig en ze hadden een kamer vrij. Nu weten we ook waarom.

Wat een smerig en uitgeleefd hotel. Gebroken stoel in de kamer, betwijfel of het beddengoed schoon was en de badkamer was gewoon goor. Veel te duur, we hebben er alleen geslapen als last minute booking maar nooit weer.

the heat ran constantly, we had to go buy fans to cool our room down just so we could sleep. The people running the place are rude and we had to call and ask for clean towels to shower every day and then wait for up to an hour to get towels, two days we didn’t get any even after asking and had to use hand towels to dry off with. our room was not serviced once while we were there. we took out our own trash and purchased toilet paper because we ran out. we have stayed at this location before and it was great, this time it was the worst stay ever. people live in some of the rooms and act like your doing something wrong if you sit outside. not friendly and not clean. if we hadn’t paid in advance we would have gotten another place to stay. I would not ever use this location again. -1 for a rating.

There was no breakfast. I booked hotel and nobody at hotel to help. I called and called and it took 40 minutes for a callback. First room had stains on sheets/pillowcases and hair on the sheets (didn’t seem to be washed). We had to move rooms. Manager was calling booking.com so our rate could be adjusted. Don’t let us book a hotel late at night if nobody is awake to get us to a room. We need a full credit. Please confirm. [email protected]. The hotel looked closed. He said the guests do not have cars which is scary.

See above. There was nobody at front desk to help us and nobody answered phone. I got a phone call back in 40 minutes. We were already leaving town.

nothing about the property was really a positive

The room was dirty, dusty. The bed sheets had stains everywhere and the pillows had disgusting blood stains on them that did not appear to be bleached or washed. Snowed during stay and the parking lot or driveway was never plowed, actually has to clear the end of the driveway with a shovel.

Cheap close by stores that close early.. It’s a cheap getaway. Owners are really nice.

Not great room a lot of chemical smells in the room and odor of smoke because is the other guests smoking outside your door the intoxicating smell leaked in from outside other guests seemed like they lived there.

Cheated

The location was good and the room was OK. I was looking for a cheap hotel just for the night and that is what I got.

The owner cheated me. I booked on here for one price and he charged me more. When I brought it to his attention he said he would fix it by checkout the next morning, I just had to swing by the office. I did and he gave me a big story how the credit card machine is programed to charge a certain amount and because I booked through a third party there wasn't anything he could do. He then proceeded to tell me if I called the property the next time I stayed he could get me a better deal then online. I will not be going back to a place where I will be cheated.

Perfect.

Clean towels everyday. The water is so clean---must be well water. We loved that we could bring our dog and they cleaned the room daily. We were amazed by how they got all the dog fur every day. We stayed 4 nights. Staff was super friendly. Owner forgot to charge us the pet fee and sweetly only charged us 50% of what it would have cost. We were already getting a super deal, but that was so nice of her!!! Location is absolutely perfect and you cannot beat the price. We will be coming back here again and requesting our same room!!!

I think some of the rooms allow smoking and the vents are connected. It certainly creates an old motel like vibe with the smokey smells, haha, but not too bad.

Excellent stay, Basic Hotel, Comfortable, good value. What more do you need in a motel?

Convenient, reasonably priced, comfortable beds. Room was big. A/C worked very well. Quiet. Great WiFi

Bathroom was quite clean, except in the corners and around mouldings.
