Amazing spot. Beautiful view of Santa Cruz Beach. Unique room and was a fancy stay.
No A/C working in the room. But opening the windows helped cool the room down.

The room in this nicely decorated victorian house was very comfortable. Very comfy bed, luxurious bathroom and a great view of the sea. The good breakfast will have something for everyone and is a good start of the day. The hotel is very conveniently located to close to the pier and restaurants in walking distance. The complimentary Wine & Cheese as well as the home made cookies are not to be missed.

This is a hidden gem! It's a converted Victorian house. Our room was so comfy and spacious. They had fresh baked cookies when we arrived and more throughout the day. They also had a homemade breakfast- it was a breakfast quiche. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel. Friendly staff. Had a blast and wished we could stay longer. It it within a short walking distance of the Pier.
Nothing wrong.

They have a nice living room ( lounge ) downstairs where you can relax and work and have unlimited tea / coffee and cookies. The property is very clean and well maintained. toilets are big, towels fresh and new. Great Bathtub.
Reached at 7.30 pm . no reception and noone to open the door while it was raiing outside heavily. had to call a call center to get details of the key to enter. No easy instructions from the call center. there is no staff at this property after 8pm . When i booked, it showed as ocean view - there is NO ocean view. Please do not select this property by the name of the room given.

Felt like we were personally cared for as guests. The location and food was great!!

Everything! It’s a beautifully renovated Victorian home with gorgeous rooms and views. The staff was exceptional: kind, helpful and professional.
I can’t think of anything I didn’t like. One of the best vacation stays we’ve had in memory.

The room was large, clean, and comfortable.
Parking very tight. Breakfast was a little underwhelming for the price.

Lovely facility. Very friendly staff
Room 2 is not for light sleepers. It is right next to the sitting room for guests, and there are no limitations on the time of use, so there were very noisy people talking in the sitting room until late.

the place is truest beautiful with very friendly staff. the hot tub was nice and warm with robes provided. amazing bathroom and great bed.
My husband is vegan and there were no breakfast options for him - apart from fresh fruit. The kitchen staff were very friendly and suggested we should have let them know in advance, but as we were on a multiple stop trip didn’t think - and really for such an experience place, sort of expected something there he could have had.

Room was lovely. Great wine and cheese and breakfast. Outdoor seating for relaxation. Close to beach, Santa Cruz wharf and boardwalk.
No air conditioning. Had to work to cool the room down. No elevator. (Not an issue for us.)

When we arrived at the hotel the very helpful Charlie looked concerned. We had no booking despite having several confirmation emails from Booking.com. This was very distressing as we had a wedding the next day. August is a very busy time but the hotel manager Hannah found us somewhere further in from the coast and more corporate, not what we had booked. Although the manager was very helpful it was a very upsetting time. we need an explanation as to why this could happen. We use Booking.com very often and this has never happened before. Please let us know how you are going to respond to this very unfortunate and upsetting situation.

Everything! This period property with a view down over the beach is just perfect. As it was a little chilly outside in April, the fireplace came to life automatically each morning for a short while. So lovely, so romantic, so everything ...
There was nothing to dislike and everything was perfect - especially the home-made breakfasts. I was sorry I hadn't splashed the cash entirely and opted for an upstairs room with the best view. That said, our room was perfectly lovely.

clean, great location, nice staff, very nice room, you can hear the saw lions and view the boardwalk/ocean from your window ( depending on what side you are on)
jets in the bathtub only worked on one side. pics are deceiving. door had issues locking ( they fixed it pretty quickly tho. they advertise free cheese and wine in the afternoon. which is nice but they just leave a decanter with no one supervising it. I couldn’t bring myself to drink out of an open container that any creep would have been able to drug or tamper with. pretty sure most women have been taught to not drink from an open container from a young age, so I was shocked at the setup. Like I can for real not figure out why that is ok… also no one was there to check ID, so it’s only a matter of time before that bits this place in the ass.

From the minute we walked in we were in awe. This place was way above our expectations and everything, including the room and staff, was over the top. We were on our honeymoon and staying here made it perfect!
That we couldn't have stayed longer!
