The location and View
The front desk check-in staff were rude and not welcoming. She was impatient with no interest in explaining; It was a terrible way to start our stay.
3.7
Location was fairly convenient, but parking was not
There was a riot with 100 teenagers in the lobby and 30 police on the 4th of July,I just wanted a normal 4th of July and thought I would find that here, that was NOT the case.

Bed
Our room was very old and dirty. Wallpaper was peeling and the shower was dirty.

The location
The pool area was dirty, stuff floating in the pool, dirty bandaids and dirty towels everywhere and there was only two other adults in the pool area at the time and it was only about 10/11am on top of the floors being filthy as well!
Staff very rude. The hotel has a luggage service in which a staff member brings up a cart to assist with taking your bags had to call two times waited a total of about 30mins for someone to come up. Then once we left to get our car from the parking garage because they have no parking either valet parking or walk 10 mins to the nearest garage so when we came back around to the hotel they thru our bags on the floor and wouldn’t let us use the cart to take our bags to the car! then valet lied saying valet was cheaper our garage parking was only $20 valet was $35/45 every time you moved your car no thanks.

It was centrally located and very easy to navigate.

The location was great and the lobby was nice.
I stayed on the 14th floor and it was old, dingy and dated. There was also a weird smell.
3.7
Good location. The valet parking is so helpful.
The beds were so uncomfortable. The place was clean but the rooms could use updating.
3.7
Good location. The facility was clean. Rooms in good shape.
Elevators... way too crowded in morning. Had to give up and take the stairs down 8 flights. Had 5 cars go buy stuffed with people. Valet parking is a mess.

I like the the location of the hotel, and the Breakfast.
The valet parking was alterable experience( the wasn't when I arrived, I was waututgn for 15 minutes, and no changes- finally at the reception desk a lady help me with that- and I am really really thankful), and they charged me bundled( I called them and they make a refund but took my time and energy), they didn't clean my room, and when I called, them, they said, I have to order that, within 1 day before I want the cleaning, and the cleaning is not available every day, only other other day, so I was 3 days with no cleaning at all in my room.
3.7
Clean rooms. Staff at the Starbucks in lobby was very nice.
Fancy hotel lobby area and first floor but beds were not comfortable.
Only valet parking available as option.
Hotel restaurant closed and about 10-15 min walk to nearby restaurants.

location and general facility was good. But needing renovation and full staffing. services needed to be requested. like trash removal or ant y housekeeping or coffee replacements. on a four day stay this was inconvenient since we were paying clientele. restaurant was not a open Sun-Wednesday 🙁

No microwave in our king size room, windows to the outside with a beautiful view filthy.

Location and restaurant were perfect.
The chair in my room was old. It was pealing and should be replaced . The lamps and bathroom shower dish were rusty.
3.7
It was an excellent location for access to the river, downtown, and the ballpark.
I did not like that on-site parking costs $38 a night and the parking garage around the corner wasnt a whole lot cheaper. For $200 a night I expected way more than was delivered. I also did not like that was no stair access (thats a fire hazard and someone should report that to the fore marshal) and only 3 of the 5 elevators worked which made for 10-15 minute waits to get up and down the elevator and led to elevators being sardine cans, probably another fire hazard to alert the fire marshal about.

The view from our room was fabulous! We had an issue with our tv but it was fixed within ten minutes!
The pool was full of children…no room for us.
3.7
Location, modern, polite desk staff, text communications.
1-Room 1430 smelled like cigarettes! I reported it via text, but nothing changed. 2-Main door was difficult to lock!
3-issue with shower
4- Valet sign that was hanging on the door was not completely visible.
Attention to details is vital and wasn’t great.

Location
We travelled with our 20lbs small dog. I called them prior to booking to know what is required to bring pet along. They told us it will be an additional $50 charge and the suite will be only on 6th floor. Upon arrival they gave us our suite on 5th floor right beside the elevator. The elevator was active all night long with loud noise which kept our dog panicking all night and he kept crying so we could not sleep either. The suite was super dirty with a musky strong smell. We got suite 517, the washroom door was broken and would not lock, the bathtub was super dirty with scums around the edge. The beds were made very poorly. The only reason to get a suite for a family with young child and a dog was in the hope that there will be a kitchenette for warming kids meal. The microwave did not work, there were no cutleries, plates or cups in the kitchenette. This was just a poor hotel room with 2 double bed and a couch labeled as suite. The staff at front desk was very rude and severely lacked of hospitality. The lady at Starbucks was nice. The location was very good. Our suite was same level as the front lobby roof so all we could see from the window was dirty roof. I have stayed in way better airbnb than this hotel suite. If you are given any room in any floor that ends with 17 the do not take it as you will not be able to sleep due to elevator sound.

First, the positives. The location is very good --- downtown Pittsburgh, the main places of attraction are all a short walk or ride away. The view from the room is good --- overlooking The Point. The staff try to be helpful and supplies to rooms are sent up in quick time.
The property itself is old, looks dated and needs major refurbishment. The rooms need to be spruced up --- there are signs of rusting, cracks, an indication that the hotel has seen better times but now needs a facelift. The bathrooms are small, and could do with modern fittings. Housekeeping is done after the third night, that too only after a request is put in. We had two rooms, one of them was cleaned after the third night as we had requested for it but the other wasn't as we hadn't put in a request.
The breakfast is limited. There is no buffet spread, one has to order from the limited a la carte menu. The restaurant is short-staffed, the ladies attending to the customers try their best but are a harried lot and food often takes a long time to get to the table.
There is no laundry or in-room dining facility, things we take for granted in India from hotels that claim to be 3-star and above.

Property was nice
Some of the staff were very rude and not helpful. They messed up my reservation. Overcharged my credit card. I waited 2 days to resolve the issue. I was on the phone 2.5 hrs until things were figured out and made right

Dominique was the best hostess I've ever had in my years of hotel stays. She handled my noise complaints as well as the heat issue in the room. I wish every hotel had personnel like her. She made my stay more pleasurable. So as special thanks to her.
