Big room near city centre
Front desk staff not nice even rude, no free wifi and no free coffee...for such a big hotel chain!

Great location, really nice staff, large room
Badly needs to be updated (peeling wallpaper, cracks in the ceiling, old looking furnishings, very loud plumbing), a little dirty (mold in the bathroom), and the room was oddly laid out and incredibly dark. Also try to get a room not facing the highway as it was very loud. Food at the bar was ok but not good.

Location to PPG Arena and Downtown was Excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful especially the front desk and valet. since it was the first time in Pittsburgh, they helped with directions and suggestions. Fitness room has quality equipment and well maintained.
Parking was not free. $30 for a guest seems a bit excessive on top of the room fees. Curtains in the room would not close completely and allowed a significant amount of light from the city to leak in. Also a lot of light from under the doorway made it hard to get to sleep. Toilet tank was leaking and the noise also made it hard to sleep. Sauna not available in the workout room and it seems to have been out of service for a while since it was screwed shut. Pool was also unavailable and no reasons were given. Some tiles in the hallway were off and there were a few stains. Other Marriott properties I have stayed at offered toothpaste, combs and toothbrushes and many other amenities. this property had Q-tips, cotton balls and 1 makeup removal towelette, pretty poor for the room rate. Room AC/heat fan was loud and annoying and could not be adjusted to reduce the noise. mini fridge was difficult to keep cold as the controls only allowed OFF and quick chill for 2 hours. I came back to the room after the event to warm drinks, pathetic.

Very nice staff, went out their way to give excellent service
The room was not made up one day, there was no free bottled water in the room, no refill of coffee when making up the room and the bar closed early unexpectedly one night.

They helped me out when booking.com messed my stuff up
They couldn't find my reservation from booking.com. not employees fault though

The location was great.
Where to begin? They were oversold for the weekend and we were given a filthy room, and told repeatedly we were unable to switch. Housekeeping came and evaluated the situation, did nothing, and finally at 11 pm we were given a new room which was also dirty (used towels left behind) and the AC barely worked. Better than the first room which was a massive health hazard with colonies of mold of all colors growing in the AC vents… but still. Dismal. The staff was snarky and rude, telling me I “didn’t need to keep repeating to issue for everyone in the lobby to hear” when no one was even around, but ok? I will never stay here again and have contacted the department of health, the Marriott corporate office, and now leaving this review… I do hope they change their ways, as this is a dismal excuse for a Marriott property and staff.

Close to venue. Plenty of rooms.
Too crowded. Waits for elevator we’re entirely too long and there were no accessible stairs to get from floor to floor. Left something in my room at checkout but couldn’t get it because staff didn’t speak English and waits at desk and elevator were entirely too long!!

Comfortable and convenient. Good location. Clean.
Our shower water was extremely hot and would not adjust to cool down. We were unable to take showers

There is a problem in bathroom - water is not going down. And staff didn’t solved the problem! It happened in the evening and nobody fixed it till our check out to the next morning !
Many apologising and zero activity to fix it!

Close to what we wanted to see. Clean & Friendly
Could have used more staff in their Restaurant/Lounge areas. Knowing on the weekends you’ll have an influx of patrons, it does a disservice to y’all when you don’t have enough wait staff to go around.

Spacious room.
TV would cut off or freeze in the middle if watching YouTube. The bathroom was very compact.
5.0 / 10.0
Size of room, very clean and organized the view was great, the staff. Staff members wearing masks when serving. How clean it was. Location was close to everything.
Sleeping next to elevator and ice machine. No cameras in parking garage. Elevator wait. Paying for breakfast.

Location was great. Should have complimentary breakfast.
Rooms could of been updated.old windows rattling from the wind. No USB charging stations, no exhaust fan in bathroom, no safe in room.

The location to the PPG Arena was our main reason for staying here.
The cost for the room the night we were there was double other Saturday night stays. That's price gouging because there was a concert at the Arena.

I liked that it was walking distance from ppg arena

Location to PPG Paints Arena.
Room service knocking on our door when we had the “Do not disturb” sign on the door. C’mon man!
