Reserve Your Ringside Seat for a Bird’s Eye View on Venice…
Presenting one of the most iconic vistas in the entire Serenissima, to be enjoyed from the calm and privacy of your place above the crowds
Occupying a fabulous spot right above the buzzing Riva Degli Schiavoni waterfront between St. Mark’s Square and the Arsenale/Biennale pavilions in the district of Castello, and sharing the long, wide and often sunny promenade with a host of well-known Venice hotels, the newly introduced Ca’ Del Santo sleeps four in comfort on the 4th (top) floor reached by lift.
Moments from the magnificent Church of La Pietà and, for Venice aficionados and foodies, literally steps away from the highly acclaimed Ristorante Al Covo, the apartment is spacious, contemporary and simplicity itself.
Warm cosy wood sets the scene, while accommodation comprises an attractive sitting room with plenty of seating, a desk area, air-conditioning** and glazed doors opening on to the fabulous south-facing furnished terrace; a dining room seating six leading to a compact yet well-equipped kitchen; a simple double bedroom with built-in wardrobes and a French-size bed, and a roomy second bedroom with 2 singles.
The shower room sits just off the sitting room, while the bathroom* next to the double bedroom is decked out entirely in wood and has a small spa bathtub.
A washing machine is also available for added convenience.
*A point on privacy - please bear in mind that this bathroom is only accessible via the double bedroom
OUR COMMENT
A simply styled apartment with an incredible view!
Gaze across the boat-traversed waters of the Bacino di San Marco, taking in a jaw-dropping outlook that stretches all the way from leafy Giardini and the Lido to the east, across to the domes of Santa Maria Della Salute and St. Mark’s Campanile to the west, and the islands of San Giorgio Maggiore and Giudecca to the fore.
Within walking distance of all the world-famous sights of St. Mark’s Square and the San Marco district or, in fascinating contrast, to the beguilingly sleepy backwaters of Castello with its traditional neighbourhood vibe.
A super base to pop back to for a break during the day, and only moments and one bridge away from the vaporetto (water bus) stop at Arsenale for easy travel around the city and to the Lido.
Also handy for the Alilaguna boat stop connecting Arsenale with Venice’s Marco Polo Airport.

This is a very nice apartment with spectacular views in a good location.

You cannot find a better view or location in all of Venice. Apartment was nicely appointed for our family of 4, with easy access to food, transportation, and tourist areas.
The statue was a bit creepy

This place has excellent location and first rate views over St Marco Bay which is what you are paying for. The apartment itself is clean but relatively basic. I would expect more comfortable furniture, linens towels etc. Good kitchen and washing machine is very helpful. The weather was quite hot and the failure of the airconditioning on arrival meant a terribly hot night with mosquitos everywhere. Being top floor exacerbated the heat issue. The managers were very responsive and got the A/C repaired quickly. Excellent organization of water taxi to and from the property and greeting for apartment entry. Excellent restaurants nearby. Elevator in building and quiet at night. Overall a good stay but not a particularly well appointed property and marred by 24 hrs of oppressive heat. I wouldnt recommend staying here in summer but a very good location. Expensive overall.

We had a fantastic time. The apartment was centrally located without being to close to all of the crowds. Would love to stay again. The AC doesn’t work however… opened the windows and got a good breeze, but still quite warm.

We loved the location and the apartment had everything we needed in the kitchen except for a microwave. the but it was exactly as advertised and shown in photos. Service was above and beyond. We has concierge service for grocery shopping and it was absolutely worth it. Our representative did an amazing job for us.
Nothing.

Amazing view, very clean, very private, plenty of towels and pillows, very comfortable beds!
We would like more lighting. Outside lighting as well.
Also the kitchen sink was clogged when we arrived and drained slowly during our stay. Price was a little high for the amenities provided.

Our family of four celebrated New Year’s Eve in Venice and Ca’ Del Santo was the perfect spot! The fireworks in the lagoon were right in front of us! We loved the roof terrace, the spacious living room, and the comfortable and stylish furnishings. This is our second time renting through VoV and their service is always excellent, from welcoming us in person to helping us arrange water taxis for our departure. Highly recommend this apartment for a great location near San Marco!

Delighted beyond belief with this apartment, terrace & especially the views. We spent a great deal of time appreciating the sweeping panorama, its beauty from dawn until dark, and the bustling activity on the water. Many good restaurants and places of interest less known in this delightful neighbourhood. The lift was most welcome. Cannot wait to return!

We stayed here as a family (2 kids; 13 and 10 years old) and it was PERFECT. The location could not be any better. The balcony is unbelievable!! Its in a quieter area yet so easy and quick to get everywhere. The check in and responses from the team were awesome - top notch (and we are frequent travelers with a pretty high bar). Lots of great recommendations and super helpful with transfers. Would definitely recommend this!

No doubt that this rental is all about the view and location. Both were spot on. Property itself was a little quirky, but overall just fine once we settled in. Overall, unit is small, but true to its listing.
The unit has wall mounted air conditioning units in the two bedrooms and dining room. There was a unit in the living room, but it was not working. We called the agent and they sent someone out, but it was not fixed while we were there. There were 2 large fans in the living room that helped circulate air, but still a little stuffy on hot days in the afternoon. At this time of year, the balcony is in direct sun all day, so it can get quite warm out there. There was a Sun umbrella on the deck that helped, but the balcony is only comfortable in early morning and evenings.
First time I used the master bath, the door latched behind me and we were unable to open it. Called the agent (who true to their word, was available by phone 24/7) to send someone over to get me out. After working with the door and latch for about 10 minutes, my teenaged daughter was able to free me. The doorknob twisting latch was essentially frozen. The agent had someone over the next day to oil it and get it working again.
The washing machine is semi-buried in a cabinet next to the toilet in the master bath. Typical European unit, very small and spin dry only and takes forever. The instructions for it didn’t really give us confidence that, as Americans, we knew what we were doing. There was a clothes line on pulleys outside of the kitchen window, but we could not locate clothes pins. Ended up taking our stuff to a coin operated laundry about a 15 minute walk away. That worked better.
Final quirk was that you enter the unit from the alley into an unfurnished room which has one small window and is thus completely dark in the evenings. When we checked in, there was a middle aged man with his dog sitting in the dark smoking. The agent said to ignore him. Never really said who he was. He would be there off and on all times of the day and night. Could have been a downstairs tenant using it as his smoking room (my guess) or a homeless guy, or a guard. Spoke no English, but never threatening. But our two teenaged girls refused to go in or out of the building without an adult with them.
Dispite these minor issues, we enjoyed the unit and Views on Venice was very responsive. They helped arrange a water taxi for us the morning we left.

the place is small but very nice. very
nice decorated. the view is stunning.
there are some details that need some attention (like humidity is a few places of the ceiling) but nothing mayor.
only problem: the main air conditioner is broken. they told us when we were there. the rooms were cold but the biggest part of the unit was warm ( even with the 2 fans provided). we expect some type of compensation because of that. A/C in summer it’s crucial. One of the reasons we choose this appartment….

Rooftop apartment in Venice
We were looking for a place to stay in Venice with more space than a hotel room. This rooftop apartment was perfect: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms(1 with shower), a comfortable living space, generous dining room, functional kitchen, and good air conditioning. And the best part was the terrace with the spectacular view where we could watch Venice waking up and closing down. The photos on the website were accurate. Close to everything in Venice, with the Arsenal stop right next to the apartment. The rental process was easy. On site support was available for check in and check out. Overall a fantastic way to experience Venice.
Downsides - nothing major - minor issue was the water temperature was cool in the am - although lots of hot water at night.

Enjoyable stay with a beautiful view
Our family of two adults and two teens had a great 3-night stay. Our flight was significantly delayed, so Views on Venice arranged for someone to meet us at the water taxi after-hours, walk us to the apartment and complete checkin. We were charged the “late arrival fee” mentioned in the rental agreement . The apartment location was excellent and amenities were as advertised. We all slept well here and especially enjoyed the sunny terrace and breathtaking view. Would stay here again!

Fabulous
The communication with your team was excellent.
The accommodation was great and the location perfect for us.The apartment is all about the view, which has to be the best ever.
Thank you so much for your help.
Kind Regards
Lissa Chris and Thomas.
It would have been nice to have a couple more bath towels.

Awesome apartment in perfect location
The VoV staff and this apartment are both fantastic. The deck is bigger than it looks in the pictures. And, even if you're not into classical music, you'll be impressed with the the collection of CDs (perhaps 100??). Awesome place.

AMAZING LOCATION ~ AMAZING VIEW
You could not get a more perfect view in Venice! Views on Venice were extremely accommodating ~ met us at our boat when we arrived, showed us around the apartment, gave us restaurant and shopping recommendations and even set up our transportation when we were ready to leave. Definitely a professional yet personal agency. I would absolutely recommend using them and renting this particular apartment.

Definitely a professional yet personal agency. I would absolutely recommend using them and renting this particular apartment. Maybe a couple of floor fans. Our visit was at the end of July so it was extremely hot! The apartment has air conditioning but it was still on the warm side. I think a couple of floor fans would have come in handy. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Fabulous Apartment with a Rooftop Terrace
We cannot say enough about the wonderful time we spent in Venice at Ca' Del Santo. Our host checked on us before our arrival to make sure we would not have a problem locating the apartment. Our arrival time was long after we anticipated and we were still greeted with open arms. After we were shown around the apartment, our host made sure we would know about all Venice has to offer and to make sure we knew how to make arrangements to get to the airport upon our departure. The apartment was exactly as it looked on their website, Views on Venice, and was as beautiful as the photos showed. We were especially excited as we had the best location for the start of the Vogalonga 2018 Regatta with the rooftop terrace. The birds greeted us every day for our early morning Cappuccinos looking out onto the water. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation. If we ever have the opportunity to visit Venice again, we will definitely look to Views on Venice for our stay.

Rise with the sun...
... and see glowing in the early morning light the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute! And I mean glowing! Almost supernaturally! Buongiorno Venezia!
The apartment is comfortable, well equipped (as afar as we know - we ate out or snacked on the balcony!), and had a fine selection of music and a great stereo to start your visit with the ultimate Venetian - Vivaldi!
Immerse yourself in Venice without the crowds. Perfect!

Amazing location for stay in Venice
Wow. Increadible views over the lagoon, a short stroll to San Marco, all the buzz of real Venice, lovely comfortable well equipped and (for July in Venice!) air conditioned apartment. Can't wait to revisit. Convenient for the Biennale locations. Brilliant support as always from the wonderful Views on Venice organisation.

Absolutely fantastic
The property surpassed our expectations - it must have one of the best views in Venice !! It was centrally located, near the water-bus station and was fantastic for people watching on the streets below. The bedrooms were well appointed with ample storage and the apartment had clean, modern décor. It was fantastic, can't wait to stay here again !!! The VoV team were superb, meeting us promptly, as arranged and giving us ample information for our stay.

Beautiful View
A very nice, clean and modern apartment, a bit small for 4 people but as we were only two it worked out well. The terrace is a fantastic place to watch the world go by. Location is just far enough from the crowds, but still close enough to be walking distance to everything Venice has to offer. Supermarket and smaller grocery shopping is very close, once you figure out the route. My only complaint would be the wifi is weak in the front of the apartment and doesn't reach the terrace. We will beback!

Comfortable, Spacious, Well-equipped Apartment in a Fabulous Location
The title summarises the apartment concisely. It has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a shower room, kitchen area, dining area, living room and terrace with table and chairs - all comfortable, well equipped and spacious. The apartment sleeps four and offers a luxurious amount of living space for that number and is furnished so as to be comfortable too. Its crowning glory is the terrace reached through glazed doors in the living room. This terrace is also equipped so that it can be enjoyed with a good table and plenty of chairs and there is much to enjoy. The terrace has unobstructed views sweeping over San Giorgio Maggiore and Riva degli Schiavoni which is truly one of the great views of Venice and hard to imagine a better one. The apartment is also located near the Arsenale, one of the loveliest parts of Venice, and close too to the main visitor attractions of St Mark's Square and the Grand Canal.
On a more mundane level the apartment is clean, fresh and very well presented with ample furniture and equipment for more than the four people it sleeps. This gives a luxurious feel to the place. It is on the 4th floor of the building reached by a discreet door in one of the quiet calle just off Riva deli Schiavoni and there is a small but welcome lift up to it. It is furnished as you would your own holiday apartment, with equipment that works (including a kettle - important for British visitors but often missing), comfortable and welcoming furniture, a big collection of CDs, books in various languages and interesting pictures and objets that make it all more personal and human. There is very efficient heating too, welcome on colder days.
Rather like Mary Poppins, it is Practically Perfect In Every Way

Great location, location, location. Comfy and super clean.
The property was on waterfront which made it easy to get to the apartment with your luggage. Building has elevator and is 2 minure walk to St. Mark's Square. Perfect view. Every convenience, well furnished, and every convenience. We want to go back.
